A little late with my review but had to share.Back in July had the most amazing customer service from Direct Salon Supplies.About 8 months ago I bought my daughter her first professional pair of hairdressing scissors.She absolutely loved them & relied on them daily but unfortunately the finger rest came off.I emailed the company and got a speedy response from a gentleman called Carl Cohen.He couldn’t have been more helpful!What a credit he is to your company.He advised me to return the scissors and the finger rest so the scissor technician could take a look & see if they could be fixed.I was worried how long my daughter would be without them but I needn’t have,within a few days the scissors were safely returned,fixed like new & packed into a clear plastic pouch.I will always buy from this company now.A company is only as good as its after sales & this certainly exceeded my expectations.Thank you for your superb customer service and to the scissor technician for doing such a brilliant job!!
Worst company I have ever dealt with.the scissors I received did not work correctly, felt as though they had been dropped. I have given them 2 chances to repair them and they have come back exactly the same each time. I’ve had numerous conversations with Carl Cohen, he seems to think I’m making it up and there’s nothing wrong with them. He’s now not returning any emails so I will be taking this up with trading standards. Do not order from them!

I emailed them and sent a video of the clipper, the next morning I received a replacement in the post that works perfectly. Excellent efficiency and service.
My new beauty couch arrived today. There were a few delays with the courier but all staff I dealt with were super helpful and quick to reply and update me.

I can’t express how happy I am with my purchase of a shiny new pair of Joewells- from the moment they went into the basket fast forward 24hrs they in my possession. Swift service, great customer care will definitely be using this company again as a bonus the company can also get scissors sharpened too - they were unbeatable in price too- I did some serious research so save yourself some time searching look no further than directsalonsupplies!
They sold goods they didn't have in stock and when I mentioned this was against trading standards I got the following reply;
"Payment will be refunded please never purchase from us again"
The worst company I have ever dealt with avoid at all cost.
Purchased a trolley from them which fell apart within a fee weeks of using it.
When I contacted the company, the "manager" Carl Cohan told me that I was lying and that it had been damaged by myself. I explained how its hardly been used as been in lockdown for 4 months and he still insists I'm lying, no apology for the inconvenience at all.
He's then gone on to bully me for over 8 weeks. He refused to pass me on to someone else to deal with and every email he sent back was very sarcastic.
He said he would replace the sides (eventually) and woukdnt let me deal with the company. Another 2 weeks had passed so I tried chasing it up again just for him to say he's not going to bother as I said I wanted to deal with the company. So now instead of being ready to start work next week (he said he ordered it 2 weeks ago). I now have to go order from another company and lose out on the £119 I paid for the trolley.
His customer service is non existent and seems to would rather send cocky replies back, trying to get one up on you instead of dealing professionally with the matter.
Wasted so much of my time. I wouldnt recommend at all
I bought two babyliss hood dryers from this company, and unfortunately they are useless for use in a salon, for a normal shampoo and set, my customers have been sat for over an hour and have come out and their hair is still damp in random places, I emailed them to ask about their returns policy to just be told that they haven’t had anyone else complain about them, (that’s ok then!!) but when I’ve looked on their site, it seems that they have stopped selling them, so maybe they have realised that they aren’t fit for purpose?
I’m having to buy some more new dryers now, I realise that the dryers were not made by this company, however my contract of sale was with them and I feel that they should have helped with a return and refund
