Direct Solar Care must be one of the most professional, courteous and helpful companies in the UK. From initial enquiry, through quotation and completion of pigeon proofing solar panels, each member of the company I spoke to was courteous, professional, helpful and carried out there respective roles in a timely and competent way. No praise too high for this company.

Whilst the underneath is a true reflection of the firm and the work they did carry out it appears it is out of character for their general commitment to customers as they have shown total disregard of my request for quotes regarding other work which I put their way.
On the day I paid for the work carried out to pigeon proof my solar panels I asked for quotes to undertake:
1) Roof tile replacement of a broken ridge tile. The guy who pigeon proofed pointed it out and took photos of the breakage. He also let me know the firm did carry out such work.
2) Cost of erecting scaffolding around the whole house in order that the pebble dashed wall could be repaired and re painted. They do have a scaffolding section.
This request was made on the 7th May I heard nothing.
On 12th May I contacted the firm to be told that the person preparing a quote was out of the office and would contact me.
On the 13th May I contacted them again but was given the same response.
On the 14th May I contacted them via their online contact e-mail explaining everything and stating I thought it was poor and possibly unpolite not to have contacted me even if it was to say that my requests were outside their sphere of work.

Response to my query was handled very quickly efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Price quoted was fair and no more than we expected. There were no hidden costs and what was quoted is what we paid.
The Actual Work
Very efficient, took care that they, our property and work was carried out with safety and cleanliness. Friendly, keeping us well informed during the whole time they were with us. Took time to show us what they had done allowed us to inspect their work and answered all our questions.
Follow up was quick friendly and covered all aspects.

I was told that it would take about 3 weeks before I would see a difference after the pigeon protection work that was completed yesterday. They were wrong. The difference was notable within a day!

We had our Solar Panels and Solar Thermal (water tubes) put on over ten years ago but never had a problem until this time last year with Doves nesting underneath the panels, there are a couple of other houses around us that also have solar and also have a problem with Doves and last month one of them had a company round to remove them and fix mesh to the panels, they said how good they were and were happy to recommend them so Gary rang them and they came out today and did ours, if anyone else is looking for a decent company to sort out theirs we would definitely recommend your company, the two guys that did ours left everything spotless and were very efficient.
