Do not buy this vacuum cleaner

Do not buy this vacuum cleaner. I think this product was produced as a joke. It is not worth the waste of money, resources or time. Who builds a vacuum cleaner that isn't easy to empty or clean out? The roller gets choked with hair etc after about a minute of use. I wouldn't even buy it to use in my car. Save your money and get a Dyson. You can seriously vacuum about a 1sq metre area before it's overloaded. Useless.

review of the Dirt Devil Scorpion hand vac

My review is for the Dirt Devil Scorpion hand vac. I have used it for about 6 months to vacuum the carpet on my stairs, for which it works very well, and I don't have to lug a large vac on them. I can use a kleenex to remove accumulated debris from the filter, though I do suggest buying replacements.

Beware the Devil is in Dirt Devil!

Absolutely Not What I Expected from Dirt Devil! I purchased a handheld vacuum from Amazon! The tube that collects the crumbs is breaking. I contacted them since I registered it. I was informed it was not covered!
How utterly ridiculous, I will never buy from dirt devil again. And I filled a claim w the BBB!

Dirt devil warranty on the box and in the package is a lie

Purchased a vacuum from Walmart it was the dirt devil pet vacuum about two weeks after using it. The small attachment for the pet hair stop spinning. I was completely fine with that until the other day. The prong from the cord snapped inside of my wall outlet. of course I’m not an idiot. I know how to remove a plug from an outlet. You directly grab it from the base and pull directly out. You don’t ever yank it. You don’t ever leave the cord far away and pull it. I’m not Idiot, I spoke to somebody customer service cannot get through to somebody on the phone attached or images and pictures of the email. I received back from my understanding. Walmart does not replace it after 30 days but on the box it clearly states that there is a lifetime warranty on the dirt devil as well as a two-year warranty paper Inside of the box clearly experts from looking at a picture that the cord is damaged
Definitely would not recommend purchasing a vacuum cleaner from daredevil again. I will definitely go with a different company from here on out knowing that what I’m purchasing has a lifetime warranty.

I purchased an upright dirt devil…

I purchased an upright dirt devil vacuum at wal mart. It's red. This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. The dog hair constantly clogs the vacuum. I'm always having to clean out the opening leading to the suction section of the vacuum. It's hard to push and it's awful! I should have spent the extra $40.00 for the Eureka. This vacuum is junk. Never again will I buy your product.

This is my 2nd Dirt Devil

This is my 2nd Dirt Devil
Endura Express. After my 1st one lost the ability to suck. Stupid me goes out to buy another one. This is the hardest vacuum to replace the red top back on the canister after cleaning. I'm so disgusted with this thing.
I swear I'll Never buy another Dirt Devil. So now I have 2 with broken tops. I'm going to try a Bissell. If anyone wants these 2 pieces of junk, come get them.

Don't buy

Don't buy. Handheld vacuum with powered rotary brush has (barely) adequate suction, but rotary brush works only intermittently after 1 year of very light use to touch up carpet in living room and hall. I've kept it clean, including the electrical contacts, so can't see why. Customer service hard to reach and very reluctant to replace -- suggesting that I must have failed to maintain it. For a little over $100 I didn't expect Dyson quality, but this is really no good at all.

Yecch!

I bought a new Endura Reach vacuum for my apartment. Upon use the unit sucked to the carpet and was hell to use. I found a review that said it was a very bad performer. I bought another brand.

Poor product, no company response

I bought a Dirt Devil handvac, thinking a different brand might outlast the few DustBusters I'd had in the past.
Unfortunately not.
A piece that was screwed in broke off of the plastic casing. I'm not sure if it was in the two year warranty period but I still have the manual handy so it's likely. Unfortunately I didn't keep my receipt, perhaps because past experience tells me it's easier to just go buy a new one.
I called the 1-800 warranty number and got a recording saying they were closed, even though it was during stated office hours, and to access live chat through Dirt Devil.com.
When I went to the website I tried to opt out of having my data sold among other things but it wouldn't submit.
I filled out all my info again to request live chat only to get a message saying there was no one available.
I will not be buying another Dirt Devil, nor recommending to anyone I know that they do.

Dirt Devil cordless vacuum…

We bought a Dirt Devil cordless vacuum cleaner from Ideal World in February this year. It suddenly stopped working. The charging light flashed once when plugged in and then nothing. Ideal World are now in receievership and Dirt Devil refuse to help. We have since bought another make of cordless vac from Curry's and the Dirt Devil is in the bin.

Dirt Devil Turbo+ sucks in a bad way

I have a Dirt Devil Turbo+ vacuum, it’s ok for the price with one exception. It comes with a “Turbo Floor Tool”. This is supposedly meant for carpets and is merely suction powered, meaning it’s a piece of crap that doesn’t work especially on any kind of shag carpet. It was ok at my last place as it was all hardwood but now I have some carpet and end up vacuuming it inch by inch with the hose only. Dirt Devil is not on my “buy again” list.
