Excellent company - Eric our booking consultant was great and I felt it was excellent value for money. All requests were arranged and overall very happy. Would 100% recommend.

Been let down big time. 10 days before departure been informed by email that they failed to properly book our snowmobiling trip so we’ve been switched to a different excursion. I’m furious. We added an extra person to our trip in December and were assured everything was added - and I checked several times. But clearly despite assurances, it hasn’t been booked. Waited a long time for this trip and carefully planned. Feel very let down. When I responded to the email I got an auto response ‘out of office’ for 10 days! Would not recommend this company ever!

Absolutely amazing holiday. I booked to go to Lapland with my family the weekend before Christmas and honestly it could not have been better. Maddie and her team in Overkalix could not have done any more to make our trip the best holiday of mine, and my family's life. The attention to detail is amazing, the care provide outstanding and every activity was great.

I felt sorry for the team at times as some of the families were difficult, turning up late for activities, not listening to the instructions, etc, but the team did not once lose their cool and remained professional throughout.

The Santa experience will never be beat, a snowmobile ride through a snowy forest to a cabin in the woods... amazing

We travelled with Discover the World to Iceland in January this year and found the whole process seamless.
My advice is: just read the emails and trust them; ours said “go to Europcar”. We did and the receptionist had our car and our DtW bag. Inside was an iPad with our itinerary and maps to help us on our way.

I’d been focused on my gear (is it warm enough, do I have the right lenses etc etc) and as we came in to land, I had some momentary anxiety about logistics.

I needn’t have, everything just worked.

DtW made sure we had the info to go on holiday, were ‘with us’ through the app on the iPad, and even called me on our final morning to alert me to an incoming storm. They wanted to make sure we’d get to the airport in good time.

All round excellent service.

This would have been a four star review, but for the fact the holiday was sooooo amazing. We went on a trip to see the Northern Lights in Sweden and it couldn't have been much better.

The trip was very well organised and Discover the world made this all so much easier. From their chartered flight directly to Kiruna to the activities they booked on our behalf, everything worked smoothly.

I would recommend this trip or disover the world to anyone looking for something a bit special.
