From the very first contact with Halsbury, the process of organising a large-scale residential trip abroad was a pleasure. The initial quotation and booking was handled very efficiently by Natalie, and then the itinerary and minutiae of the actual trip was coordinated superbly by Leonardo. Both staff members were excellent to work with, always responding promptly to any questions or queries. During the trip itself, Leonardo was also always available to help with any problems that we encountered, and no issue wasn't solvable. I'm looking forward to working with Natalie and Leonardo again for our trip for 2027, and I can't recommend Halsbury enough.

We’ve just returned from an incredible school ski trip to Canada, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — every detail was handled seamlessly, and the whole experience ran without a single issue.

The organisation was faultless, which made such a difference when travelling with a large school group. Accommodation, food, transport, and skiing arrangements were all top quality and exceeded expectations.

A special mention has to go to our rep, who was absolutely brilliant. They were always on hand, incredibly supportive, and went above and beyond to make sure both staff and students had the best possible experience. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really made the trip stand out.

The students had an unforgettable time, and as staff, we felt completely confident and supported throughout. This was one of the best trips we’ve ever run — we’ll definitely be booking again!

This year marked my first experience using Halsbury for our school ski trip, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had and then some. From the very first point of contact right through to our return home, the entire process was handled with an exceptional level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail that instantly put me at ease.

The organisation of the itinerary was seamless, with every element thoughtfully planned and clearly communicated. All of the necessary paperwork was provided promptly and efficiently, which made what can often feel like an overwhelming process incredibly straightforward and manageable. It was evident throughout that the team truly understands the needs of teachers organising trips and goes above and beyond to support them every step of the way.

One of the highlights for me personally was having the opportunity to attend the inspection visit (ahead of the trip). It was such a valuable and enriching experience meeting like-minded teachers, sharing ideas, and gaining first-hand insight into the local hotels and ski resorts. Being able to see everything in advance made completing the necessary risk assessments feel so much more thorough and reassuring.

I genuinely couldn’t recommend Halsbury highly enough. Their dedication, expertise, and warmth transform what could be a stressful process into something genuinely enjoyable and inspiring. I’m already looking forward to working with them again in the future!

I cannot rate this company highly enough. Right from the very start, when I first approached the sales team to help find a suitable trip for around 30 Prep School children, I felt that I was receiving an exceptionally high level of attention and care. This was the third time I have used Halsbury, and each time I have been impressed by the sales team’s comprehensive knowledge of resorts, hotels and snow conditions, which gives great confidence when planning a school ski trip.
The operations team are equally impressive. They listen carefully to your wishes when arranging the itinerary — from ski lessons and lunch arrangements to après‑ski activities — and remain in constant communication throughout the process to ensure you are fully informed of the options available. They take genuine care to consider the specific needs of your group, particularly the age of the pupils and any limitations they may have.
I always have a few ‘non‑negotiables’, such as ensuring a hot lunch and keeping walking distances to a minimum when carrying skis, and I am pleased to say that these requirements have always been met without issue.
The resort rep team have been excellent. Both this year and last year we were supported by fantastic reps who were attentive, friendly, proactive and brilliant with the children. Importantly, they were also highly professional and reliable, which has been a very welcome change compared to experiences I have had with other tour companies in the past.
Overall, Halsbury provide an outstanding level of service, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other schools planning a ski trip.

Halsbury were excellent throughout the entire trip planning process. As a trip leader, I felt fully supported by their knowledable staff and Beckie had an excellent response time to queries. The trip itself was unforgetable and a huge success.

We are very dissapointed with our experience with Halsbury. Ollie sold us a ski trip to Sestriere, staying in Cesana. When we arrived it turns out we could only ski in Claviere, a much smaller resort. The instructors they assinged as were not even all fully qualified, which led to a near serious crash for one of our students. We lost out on about 5 hours of ski lessons because of delays and poor timing. They use the cheapest options at every turn. Our rep in Italy did't even speak Italian. A complete shambles! I will never again use them for a ski trip.

The coach was really nice and the driver Dan was one of the best I have ever had. He seemed like he really liked his job. The trip was greats. Thank you!

I have used several school trip operators in the past and I must say that Halsbury has been brilliant. A special thank you to Caroline Hill who gave me several quotes according to our school budget. I must also mention Rachel Byng who went beyond her duty to inform me of delays on our way back from Normandy last year. Rachel fitted many visits in the 3 days we had in France. Everything worked like clockwork and the accommodation was perfect. Unlike many other companies, the staff at Halsbury listen to you and tailor your trip to your needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

We have been working with Gayle, Laura and Rachel for a few years now. They have always been efficient in resolving our questions and tweaking the trip as required.
Their support line is always available when abroad - which is great, as we have needed it in the past.

Halsbury Travel has been a staple travel company for us to use for many years. We recently returned from a glorious 5 days homestay in Nice (October 2024). We had some early flight disruption; that was dealt with promptly and seamlessly by Halsbury colleagues, and didn't disrupt the learning experiences for students. This is are second time using Halsbury travelling to Nice (we have used Halsbury for Spain and Germany too) and they would be our first choice travel firm for future French trips!
