I am a return trekker to Nepal and 100% recommend Disovery World Trekking for your next adventure.
Achieving your trekking goals in a happy and friendly environment is the key outcome of the company and this was demonstrated in my own recent experience.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team and I pass on my sincerest thanks to everyone involved in making my trek the best it could be!

Paul and the team at Discovery World Trekking went above and beyond to ensure our group had an amazing time. Everything was professional, communication was timely which ensured that our group could just focus on having an adventurous holiday. From the guides, porters and staff we never had one issue arise through our time trekking. The booking process was easy and Paul was always available to answer any questions or provide any assistance needed.
I would like to make a special mention to our guide and assistant guide who were fantastic.
I have been trekking the Everest region and surrounds previously with other companies but won't hesitate to book with Discovery World Trekking after this trip. In summary from booking to arrival and then onto our tour the whole process and experience was faultless which is a huge credit to Paul and the team. Thanks again, we will be back soon :)

Would highly recommend Discovery world for any Trek. The company is professional but also provides that family vibe. Paul the CEO has many connections and is always working hard behind the scenes to get the best for his clients. Especially when it comes to flights and schedule. His team are hard working and also provide the family vibe. Our trek was base camp via Gokyo Lake for 12 days. The company look after the whole schedule, breakfast, lunch and dinner, accommodation and any medical needs at higher altitudes. Simbir the trekking guide was always making sure every individual person is traveling well, genuinely cares and wants you to enjoy your trek. Paul is always connecting with the crew knowing how things are going and there was never a worry. Value for money was guaranteed and all you do is show up and enjoy the journey.
When your journey is achieved, Discovery world put the effort into your achievement with a nice suprise at the end and also a celebratory dinner.

this was our first trek and naturally we were quite nervous and didn't know what to expect. Discovery World provided an awesome experience and we're glad we chose them.

Paul was very prompt in answering queries and assuaging our concerns, and was constantly checking up on our welfare during the trip itself.

our guide (Manish) and porter (Jit) were also very friendly, professional and knowledgable. they ensured our every need was met and we always felt extremely safe during the entire 14 days with them.

we did the Annapurna circuit (14 days) and it was tough but doable and extremely rewarding. we were always sufficiently rested and managed to complete the trek safely.

I have just completed ABC trek with Discovery World Trekking few days ago which has been one of the most amazing experiences I had. Weather hasn't been easy because it was around the end of the moonson season but Discovery World Trekking team has done their upmost to make sure I safely reached to the camp and back to Pokhara while looking after me along the way. I want to thank Paul for helping me planning out and organising the trek from the beginning to the end, and thank you for Raj and Subaraj for guiding me through the journey. I would definitely recommend their services!

Trekking to Gorepahni-Poon Hill in august was a good idea! Even in monsone season we had two sunny days and we enjoyed amazing views of the mountains including Annapurna I. Walking trought the jungle was easy and safe with our guide Dol. We slept in lodges and we found all the accomodations very confortable and quite, also due to the off season. DWT personel was always caring and we had no trouble along the way.

What a great experience!
We made a 4 days trekking visiting Pokhara, Gorepahni - with the unforgottable view of Annapurna - Tadapani and Jhinu Danda, with its peaceful and relaxing hot springs.
Dol and Probat are super professional guides, really expert, helpful and friendly.

I would like to share my unforgettable and long overdue the Annapurna Circuit trek with Discovery World Trekking.
The journey with Discovery World Trekking was started with a warm welcoming from the team at the airport and The Master Paul from the office. You don’t need to take care of anything - mostly everything (accommodation, restaurants, agenda, etc) set by the team. From the first day I became a DWT family with two new brothers Subras and Laure who were followed each step and were my biggest support and warm company in this mostly lonely off-season trek. They respect your personal preferences and adjust to your physical form very quickly, never complain, never say “no” to any suggestions. I’m sure without them I couldn’t achieve the goal!
Paul and the team are careful guiding and tacking care of you through the journey. You always feel the shoulder nearby, which is extreme helpful! For instance, we faced with bad weather conditions (heavy raining and cloudy) last day of the trek, at the same time we had to keep going and go down through a lot of wet and slipping cobblestones, Subras decided to order a jeep on the middle of the path which save our lives.
I’ve seen several examples when guides/porters are just showing the path for their customers, they treat them as clients. Otherwise DWT considers clients as family members with whom you’re confident to chat mostly about everything and rely any secrets and concerns.

As someone who has never done a multi-day trek, getting to EBC was definitely the highlight. This wasn't possible without - our cheery guide, Simbir; hardy porter, Avi; and wise advisor, Paul.
Throughout the trip, we were enabled by the motivation probided, welcomed by the hospitality and well taken care of via the different logistics that the trek demanded.
Would highly recommend booking a trip with Discovery World Trekking if you're keen in reaching the EBC.

This was such an incredible and humbling experience. We trekked over 40 miles in 6 days, led by the best group of guides and porters! The days were long and tough, but the views at Annapurna Base Camp made it well worth it. I cannot say thank you enough to the guides and porters who took care of us every step of the way. They were so encouraging, attentive, and kind. I cannot wait to visit Nepal again and do another trek! A big THANK YOU to the best team in the business (Paul, Saroz, Prabhat, Gakul, Hom, Amrit, Umesh, and Raj)!!

Excellent experience! The guide was awesome a spoke great English and was knowledgeable about the hike, helped me out when I got sick, and even gave periodically gave us snacks haha.

The porters were amazing too, some of the nicest people I've met

Our experience on the Three Passes Trek with Discovery World Trekking was incredible. Paul was easy to communicate with from the moment that we booked our trip. He set up for success by meeting with us and reviewing the itinerary and gear before we left. Our guide Chanda made our trek enjoyable and informative. His experience in the mountains and as a guide was outstanding. He made us feel welcome and safe and well taken care of. Our porter Dille was also a joy to trek with. We were pleased that our group was just the two of us, which allowed us to move at our own pace. We also were impressed with how flexible the company was with our hiking plans and travel days. We finished a couple days early and they were able to quickly change our domestic flights back to Kathmandu. We cannot recommend Discovery World Trekking more. Thank you Paul, Chanda, and Dille! You are rockstars.

My partner and I completed the 11 day Annapurna circuit trek with Discovery World Trekking (DWT) and it was honestly the best decision we made.

We chose DWT from a simple Google search as it had fantastic reviews and a fair price. When we showed interest, Paul from DWT discussed jumping on a quick call to answer any questions we have, and share the options for our trek and what to expect.

After confirming our trip with DWT we were picked up from the airport and accompanied to our hotel by our guides, and the next morning taken for orientation where we met Paul and went through our expectations, equipment, and any final questions we had.

The trip itself was fantastic, our local guide & porter (Sup & Dep) were brilliant from start to finish, making sure we were looked after, answering all our questions, and making sure we were acclimatising well every step of the way to help us achieve our dream of crossing the pass! Sup and Dep were very professional, and a pleasure to be around, giving us space when we wanted it but also happy to get involved in a game of cards or sharing a few stories after dinner!

DWT were very accommodating of any requests, including when we asked to change plans or move timings and took any concerns or questions seriously. Others we met on the journey commented on how friendly our guides were and how they were always happy to offer advice or guidance when asked. We particularly liked that our guides took our oxygen saturations every evening after a certain height, ensuring we were coping well with the altitude and giving us reassurance we were acclimatising well.

Overall, the ease of communicating with the DWT team, the care they took of us and the insight the guides were able to offer, made for a fantastic experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend using DWT again!

My wife and I did the Everest Three Passes Trek with Discovery World Trekking, and we had the most incredible experience! The owner Paul was very responsive from the beginning and helped us choose the right experience for us, as it ended up just being my wife and I in our group. While there is a detailed itinerary with everything laid out and organized for you, they were also able to tailor the trip to our personal needs. We ended up doing it in 15 days instead of 17. Our guide was Chhanda, and he was excellent! He was very attentive to our needs and wellbeing, especially with our adjustment to the altitude. It just made the whole experience more enjoyable and took away all the stress. There were also nice little touched like fresh fruit every evening after dinner and getting a nice certificate/picture to frame after completing everything. We highly recommend using Discovery World Trekking if you are looking to trek in the area!

My girlfriend and I did the 8 day RubyValley trek with discovery world trekking, it was a really wonderful experience. The scenery was quite remarkable, the walking was challenging but manageable, and we also got to stay at local villages which was quite authentic. Only passed another 2-3 tourist the whole time which was quite nice. Our guides Karan and Kaji were excellent.

This is my 2nd time with Discovery World Trekking and most likely will not be my last. Paul Gurung is a friendly and accommodating business owner who’s priority is to deliver on expectation and work collaboratively with his clients to ensure their experience is above and beyond.
Paul worked with me to move trek days and adjust itinerary when Australia’s covid restrictions prohibited me from travelling for 2 years. Subaraj (Superman) is a fantastic Guide, who’s English is very good and his empathy and compassion for his clients are very genuine and comforting. Our porter, Money is also a huge support and him and Superman make a great Team.

What an adventure! We recently completed the trek up to Annapurna Basecamp with Discovery World, and it was a truly sublime experience. The nearly immediate communication from Paul after booking set the tone for the level of service and attention throughout the trip. Paul was just as responsive throughout the leadup to our journey, ensuring that any questions or concerns were promptly addressed. The trek itself was simply amazing. Our guide (Siddhanta) and our porter (Kaji) went above and beyond to make our experience special - from making sure we had the room with the best view every night, to teaching us Nepali card games while hanging out in the evening. I can't imagine the experience being nearly as memorable without their company. If you are considering a trek with Discovery World just go ahead and book - you won't be disappointed.

We had a great time trekking through the Himalayas. Everything was taken care of. We didn't have to worry about anything.

Before the trek we could contact Paul any time with any types of questions. This was such a big help. During our trek Paul was always available for contact, to make sure we had a good time.

Our guide Karan Gurung was amazing. Such an experienced guide. We always felt safe and also had a lot of fun while trekking. We were so glad to have
Karan, our dedicated guide and Taran Gurung, our very strong porter with us. Especially on the way to Tilicho lake with the landslide areas.

Everything was tailored and flexible to our preferences before and during the trek.

In the teahouses during the trek we also didn't have to worry about anything. Karan and Taran made sure we had the nicest rooms and best experiences in the mountains. We enjoyed the company and also our own spare time.

We were blown away by the beautiful nature of Nepal as well as the variety which you encounter on the Annapurna Circuit. Each day was a different experience altogether. We did Poonhill as a beautiful end to the trek. In April the Rhododendrons were absolutely gorgeous.

This will be my 6th time visiting Nepal. I’m so happy to return with Discovery World Trekking. My experience with the company has only ever been positive. The attention to detail and work behind the scenes is impeccable. This trip was a climb to Mera peak. The beautiful trek through the forests and mountains was breathtaking. Unfortunately I got sick at high camp but was very happy to make the 5800m climb. My guide Subaraj (Superman) and guide Money Kumar we’re always happy and supported me to achieve my climb up the mountain. I would recommend Discovery for anyone wanting to experience an amazing trek through the Himalayas.
