We ordered 5 derailleur hangers for the Highball model frame as these are not standard ones you can get at your local bike shop. We initially only received two of the five. After emailing Ty, he quickly had the others shipped to us.

These guys rock!! What a great affordable way to build a high quality kids bike. We picked up the 24” carbon frame and wheel set, shipping was fast and the paint on the on the frame was top notch. I built my daughter a great XC bike that weighed 18ish pounds. Given she only weighs 60lbs having a light bike makes her able have way more fun on the bike and be able to handle it better.
Like I said, being able to buy a top notch frame and wheel set for this little money makes buying a bike every two years much more palatable. I just ordered the 26 inch frame and wheel set for next season. All in, after buying everything for the build I’m in $2600, she is going to have a bike that is every bit as good as the $4500 offerings on the market. Plus the custom color options are awesome!!

“I needed a bike for the Leadville Trail 100 this past August and this frame fit my budget. I needed a carbon hardtail frame that would fit a 12 speed drivetrain and i didnt feel like borrowing another bike like i did last year. This frame is replacing my 2015 Niner Air9 aluminum frame which i rode since 2015. I was skeptical at first because the frame was so light. I put it through the ringer a couple weeks after i built the bike up in a 24hr team race. After that race i had some confindence that it would be able to handle my day in Leadville. This bike didnt disappoint on race day. I finished in 10:39 almost an hour faster than last year on a borrowed bike. So far i couldnt be any more happier on how this bike build turned out. Now we'll see how long it lasts.”

Great deal on some great wheels!! Very well built. No reason to pay more. Great options for different hubs, colors, spokes, and nipples. Ty did a great job with communication. Emailed me back very quickly when I reached out with questions.

great communication, easy freight to the other side of the world. I was skeptical of the quality for the price but everything was very nice. the groove underneath the bars are excellent, i.e. you don't have to disconnect the brakes to install. mount in adaptable. great finish on the bars and recessed in so that bar tape is flush. A nice little extra. very happy

I ordered this frame to build a budget carbon bike for the Leadville 100 MTB race. I used a deore XT group set, used Niner carbon bars and seat post, and a Boyd 27.5 wheelset to build a 23 lbs climbing machine. Very pleased with the fit, finish, and value. Earned the LT 100 belt buckle. FYI, I jokingly named the bike SLOW using old Moots stickers but it is anything but that!

Purchased a zero offset carbon seatpost from DIY Carbon, it came faster than expected, was as light as advertised, and is overall a great addition to my bike! Will be going back for matching handlebars from DIY Carbon soon

So far the shash frame is total awesome. U can play around with all type of sizes of tires. Love the built just like the pros trek slash mtb bike in save lots of money to get high end parts ti put on. Thank you. B

Delivery took almost 4 months longer than expected. (Originally scheduled for 28 Dec 2022, actually delivered 20 April 2022). I purchased a painted frame but got an unpainted one and was not refunded the difference. The bike was supposed to include a headset but one was not included in the packaging. I am giving 2 stars because the frame is very light and looks good.

Paid for express postage and it still took a month for the carbon frame to arrive.
I ordered a hardtail and noticed a small crack in the seat tube/top tube which I documented and sent to “Ty” (the CEO), who assured me it was just a fault in the paint work.
After 4 hours of labour and lots of money spent on parts I took the new bike for a ride, during the ride I could hear several Pops coming from the rear of the frame. When I got home and had a look the crack had tripled in length there were 4 new cracks around the major one.
I have asked for a refund but “Ty” tells l me the cracks are all superficial and should not effect the performance of the bike and offered me a repair kit. Absolute crap.
I have a new bike lined up to buy and need my money back before I can afford it but “Ty” is now taking days to reply to emails.
I will pursue PayPal for a refund.
DON’T BUY THESE BIKES!

I inquired about ordering an XCR 29 "Epic" boost frame in the "colorshift green" color and XL size.

Ty replies, "Yes that one is available in green color shift! You can put that in the checkout notes and we can do it. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions, Ty".

I placed the order for the frame for a total of $445. The charge posts to my PNC checking account on 5/13/22. According to the DIY order status page, I should receive my frame between May 20, 2022- June 14, 2022.

June 13, 2022
After asking for a shipping update. Ty replies that my frame will ship in 2 days.

June 24, 2022
No frame. I ask Ty which shipping courier he is using and replies "It’s EMS and will be USPS on the last leg". Problem, the tracking number Ty provided "T202206155465956" is not a valid.

June 25-26, 2022
With still no frame, I ask Ty to cancel the order and provide a refund. His responds telling me the frame has shipped, however the only way for me to "track" the frame is through Ty's website with his tracking number. It is not linked to the actual shipping company's tracking like most online retailers. His tracking # is not a valid EMS #. He is expecting me to take his word that the frame was shipped without providing actual proof. He could not even provide an origin scan.

I tell Ty that without proof that the frame shipped, I will contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Ty's responds with a passive-aggressive "threat": "Disputing the card would definitely delay things including a refund if the item was lost but that is very rare."

Still no frame or shipping updates from Ty.

Lots of back and forth with shipping but received product as described. Will test wheelset shortly.

I purchased a carbon mountain bike frame and a 29" mountain bike carbon wheelset. The frame arrived on time. The wheels were another story. They never arrived. I was forced to call the credit card company and reverse the charge. I was given many excuses and justifications. At the end of the day, they were over a month late and there was not a tracking number to verify they exist. The company responded saying they were shipped to the wrong customer. With all the mistakes I would not choose to work with this company again. They do not seem to have established reliable partners in china where the product is coming from. I would not recommend them to a friend. I am still searching for wheels with almost $4k in parts ready to ride. Buyer beware.
