I called up to ask a request - to find out if someone could help me with finding various legal documents for a flat I bought through Grants Property Management 7 years ago. Grants changed their name to Sandstone before beingvtaken over by DJ Alexander in 2024. I thought I was probably asking for the impossible request however Leandra Brown from the Edinburgh office went the extra mile for me. I was so impressed by her attitude. Nothing was too much or too difficult. She was super efficient on the phone and told me that she would love to help track down the info I needed. She said it might take a while but she would get onto it straight away. Anyway, much to my surprise she emailed me back within the hour to tell me she had found everything I asked her for. I was so grateful to Leandra. I hope she gets to read this because I had wanted to write to the boss of D J Alexander to let them know how good the service I had received was. She went over and above what I was expecting. First class service Leandra. Thank you.

DJ express was amazing. The replies were quick swift and any confusions which were very small were resolved in moments. A big shout-out to Emma Wright for her great help to me and my friend, she is a great example of how a renting agent should operate. A big thanks Emma :)

Abby was an absolute angel. Went to wrong office to collect property keys and she went out of her way to give me a lift to the other dj alexander office the other side of town. 5 star service.

Leandra from the sales team has been absolutely amazing at helping me get a foot on the property ladder. I am completely new to this process, and these are my first steps. Leandra went above and beyond making me feel super comfortable and explaining how the system works after I saw a potential property on Zoopla. She even put me in touch with a trusted mortgage advisor and once I went to see the property they made a note about them getting in touch with a solicitor to help me out understand the process. Leandra and the team have been so so lovely they have made a process which feel daunting far mor accessible. Even if I don't end up getting a property right away having the knowledge and experience of the process helps massively! Thank you :)

Sarah and Abby were consistently responsive and kept me well-informed at every stage of the sale process. They were proactive in addressing potential issues and made everything feel smooth and well-managed. Their advice was practical and helpful, which made the whole process much less stressful than it might have been.

Sana was very helpful when we went for a viewing, her reply times were impeccable and always professional. She still offers the same help once we have moved in. DJAlexander have been great and helped so far with the move in. We viewed the flat on Wednesday, heard we were successful by Thursday and had references etc completed by Monday.

We sold the property with DJAlexander,with Sarah.We hoped to sale the property for a whole amount of its valuation,but it’s sold for less(just because the market current tendency and economy global situation,not an agency’s fault).Want to say that the process went good anyway and also would like to mention our solicitor Natasha Temple,who Sarah recommended to me.Natasha was amazing and very professional!So,I can definitely recommend both DJAlexander’s agent Sarah and Natasha Temple as a solicitor.

Based on this phone encounter with wonder Ms Leandra Brown, I am very certain I met my dream property agency. I hardly remember when a professional service was so naturally human yet remaining within the professional scope.

Yasser Albassam - he helped me buy a flat. Quick, professional, proactive, and also human, kind, phoning as well as emails... so good I asked for him specifically when I wanted to sell a flat. He was just as great the second time around. I thought it couldn't get better....

... Then I was passed to Leandra Brown who helped me do up the flat pre-sale. It got better. She identified what needed doing, she got quotes, she even negotiated at cost quotes on some aspects, I also got quotes and Leandra's were always cheaper and just as good, she phoned, emailed, was quick, never pressuring me to pay, she just got on with it, efficiently and professionally. I’ve been a landlord with DJ Alexander for nearly a decade now, and whilst I was noticing a decline in their service over the last few years I have been absolutely delighted by their Compliance Coordinator Jenni Flynn, whose service and attitude have gone a lot way to restoring my faith in them. Excellent follow-up on some of my concerns after a routine approach about PAT testing, She dig deeper and offered solutions whereas in the last few years my issues had disappeared into the we’ll-get-round-to-it fog.
