Excellent service from start to finish.
Couldn’t fault it.
From the first contact till the car was returned to me.
All personnel very polite.
I was recently forced to use DLG to repair my car as they were the designated repair provider for my insurance company.
On collection of the car I was provided with a sub standard courtesy vehicle that was very poor and in no way reflective of my own vehicle, which itself is standard so have no real complaints there.
After initially being told the repair would take a 'few days' I was then given radio silence for around a week aside from the automated, generic SMS updates that tell you absolutely nothing. After chasing up on the phone I seemed to get more attention from the staff at the business, however, again it felt like I was being given the same message over and over again around parts availability with no indication of when they would be able to obtain said parts and complete the repair.
After several weeks I was told the parts were on the way and I should have the car back 'soon'.
After a few further days I was contacted to say the repair had been completed save for one final part (a trim) that hadn't arrived and did I want my car back without it in lieu of it arriving, which I did.
I am now several weeks further down the line with zero communication around the missing part; I chased today and they now tell me that on their 'system' the repair has been completed and nothing further to do!
If you like an easy life where businesses have integrity and do what they say they are going to do then I would recommend you avoid DLG like the plague. This may be a 'localised' issue at the particular location I was directed to but it clearly doesn't reflect well on the brand / parent company.

Great experience all round. Really helpful and kept me in the loop with everything happening with my repair.
From first communication to advising me of updates on my visits I found your staff to be helpful at all times.
I had updates as to repair of my vehicle regularly by phone with estimates of when repair was completed.
I then was told that I could collect my vehicle from Wednesbury & leave my courtesy car at your site & drive home in my car once all financial requirements were met.
At all times I was treated by your staff helping me to
cope with the time I had to wait for the repair to be finished.
All in all a positive contact with each of your members.
Please thank them all for me!
Whilst I do not wish to have another visit by choice, I would call you first should I need to.
Many thanks for everything you all did to help me cope.
Please pass on my thanks to all of your staff from a very satisfied Customer.
I have just had my car repaired by DLG, Wednesbury. I had expected the car to be written-off but surprisingly it was deemed repairable. The car now appears to be better than it was before. Communication was excellent over the 5-weeks and the car was cleaned inside and out. I cannot fault any of the work that was carried out which was rather extensive. From a very pleased customer.
They made a fantastic job on the repair to my car 🚘 would recommend them to anybody
Courtesy Efficiency High Quality of repair Regular updates on progress.
A very good service was provided from start to finish
Absolutely wonderful service, kept me informed every step of the way!
Excellent service kept me well informed throughout my repair
Communication was great with updates by text and email. The repair was completed 3 days ahead of estimate and the car was returned in pristine condition.
Great experience and they have fixed my car with excellence. Gave me updates with my car's repair.
Seamless repair and within 5 days from vehicle collection .
Repair was faultless
Car was collected on the day specified at a time to suit us. Later that day we received a message telling us when the repair would be finished. DLG actually completed the repair in a shorter time than specified they phoned to say the repair was complete and returned the car on that day. We were happy with the repair and the car had been cleaned inside and out.
Flawless finish to the repairs to my car. Completed in excellent time too. Great communication and great customer service.
The repair process was very smooth at a stressful time.
From collection of the car.
Then we were informed about our repair right from the start.
Starting with a detailed feedback about the damage, what needed to be replaced and parts required.
Then how long it was going to take and when we could expect the car to be delivered back to us.
Finally the call to say your car was completed and was ready to be delivered back to our home address ahead of schedule.
WELL DONE and THANK YOU
I am very disappointed to have to contact you regarding this matter and certainly have not contacted you lightly.
Yesterday, at 3.30pm, I was unfortunate enough to have an encounter with one of your drivers on the M6 motorway. What followed was an episode of such intimidation, aggression and dangerous driving that it left myself and my children very shaken and we had to go home rather than proceed on the same route as the driver to our destination. This cost us our evening out at the theatre.
We were travelling through the roadworks from Junction 3 to Junction 2 on the M6. The 2 lanes go down to 2 lane and, despite having over 1000m warning of this, your driver chose to travel in the outside lane as far as he could (obviously trying to nip past all the politely queued traffic) until he was stuck with nowhere to go. Therefore, he ended up just being sat there stuck for quite a while. As I approached him, it looked as if he was part of the roadworks, having a commercial truck so I just followed the stream of traffic. He obviously thought I should have let him into the stream of traffic at that point and started blowing his horn continually. This obviously startled the driver behind me who let him in. He then got behind me and followed me through the entire long stretch of roadworks blowing his horn, with his lights on main beam blinding me, as close to my bumper as possible and making sweating gestures such as putting his middle finger up and ‘w*****’ signs the whole way,
I was a lone woman in a small Nissan Leaf with 3 young children who actually screamed as he roared up behind us as they thought he was going to hit us. As he was driving so dangerously and I had 3 hysterical children, I was forced to slow down and drive steadily. This made him even more aggressive. He continued with this for miles through the roadworks until they finished and he was able to overtake me.
We both came off at Junction 2 and I tried to stay well back from him as I felt so intimidated. I was scared that he would get out and come over to the car. Unfortunately, the traffic lights were on red and I was forced to stop next to him. He continued shouting insults and making vulgar gestures the whole time, despite seeing my 9 year old daughter sat in the front seat. At this point, we were all upset so made the decision to turn around and go home but not before he continued his behaviour down the road into Wolverhampton, before cheerily waving to us as he saw us do a u-turn, obviously pleased that he had managed to intimidate a woman and children .
I am absolutely horrified that you have a man of such character working for your company as I cannot believe that he hasn’t shown this side of him before - people do not go from being decent to behaving like he did. Also, the fact that he had the confidence (and also stupidly) to behave like that whilst driving a company vehicle suggests that he was unable to control his behaviour and is a very dangerous individual.
Unfortunately for him, my child was able to take photographs of his numberplate and of how close he was driving to us. Also, I have front and rear camera footage which I fully intend to submit to the police (something I do not do lightly).
