Used Basildon DLG service as insurance referred , The time taken extremely longer than Estimated time given and also every time a new date give that kept changing without advance notice of change instead client had to chase the garage to confirm the validity of dates .

My car was collected on a Thursday, I was told I would get a call on the Friday from the Assessor, which I did not. I tried calling on the Saturday but they dont work at weekend so I rang again on the Monday, the receptionist was sympathetic and although she could not get hold of him at that moment she said she would leave a message to call me. I still did not receive a call and called AGAIN on Tuesday and the Receptionist left another message. I eventually got a call back from a parts technician who told me they were waiting for parts and there was a delay due to an IT issue at Suzuki. Later that day I finally got a call from the Assessor who told me the same as the parts guy and said he would keep me posted on progress. I got a text the same day saying the work would be completed on the following Monday. i heard nothing more and eventually called AGAIN on the Monday and spoke to someone in the Parts Department and was told they had found another part that was needed and had to order this from Suzuki, I was AGAIN promised I would be kept updated. On the Wednesday I got a call for the receptionist and arranged for the care to be returned on the Thursday. The collection and delivery drivers were very friendly and helpful as were the Reception staff but the level of actual service fell well below my expectations and the promises I was made. My car was away for two week, which is in excess of the 7-10 days I was advised and as I am disabled I rely very much on my car. The repairs seem to be OK although I have an issue with an alarm that keeps going off but I will ask my mechanic about this when I take the car for Service and MOT in a few days time as I cannot be without my car while DLG sort this out.

DLG Auto Services repaired my car after an accident I was involved in. They came and picked up my car exactly when they said they would without any hassle. I was provided a courtesy car and it was immaculate and a lovely car. I had to phone them and ask them to make mine a rush job if possible as I my own car was due for an MOT and I was then leaving for Scotland. DLG Auto Services really could not have been more helpful. The girls on the phones were lovely and very polite and helpful and although they had to wait for parts, they were really quick and I had my vehicle back in double quick time so thank you DLG Auto Services

I can’t recommend DLG Auto Services highly enough.
My daughter was involved in an accident back in October, and only recently—thanks to the warmer weather—we discovered a minor issue with the air conditioning not working.
I’ll be honest, given the time that had passed since the original repair, I was expecting a difficult conversation. However, from the very first contact with Kelly in the office through to Steve confirming the work was complete, the service was outstanding.
Everyone I dealt with, both office staff and technicians, were professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. The vehicle was inspected within two hours of the initial report, the fault was quickly identified, parts were ordered without delay, and the car was booked in and repaired while I waited.

The quality of repair was excellent, but the time it took was much longer than expected. They did not keep us up to date with progress , so had to keep ringing, in all it took just over 8 weeks.

Avoid i had a really bad experience with this garage after an accident i have received my car back worse than what it was came back to me with sensor issues, Awful experience when asked I was told to take my car to dealers for a full diagnostic report which would cost me £750 ,and old woman which i believe may have been one of the staff was very rude,hope she faces the same issue! Karma is real!

Whoever I spoke to, from the men who collected/returned my car to all the various admin staff they were all friendly and helpful. I was kept informed about my car repairs and expected finish date.
