Very swift and thorough survey with helpful feedback and suggestions.

This Company was recommended to me for a Building Survey. They did not disappoint. Communicated with me on what was to be done, and phoned, as per their promise, to give feedback, And then proceeded to email the Report—And a very detailed and easy to understand report, at that ! —involving the use of Drones, to check the roof ! They love what they do, and are good at what they do!

DMP LLP were really great. They got back to me immediately upon receiving my enquiry. They kept me informed throughout the process and were clear about the timelines and when I would receive my report. I had to move the survey date several times and they accommodated this quickly and professionally without complaint. I also had several questions which again were answered in full and very swiftly. The report itself was very thorough and exactly as required. Would thoroughly recommend and definitely use again. Thank you!

Andrew made a drone external survey and physical internal survey of my roof and chimney, he was very professional and explained in detail what he did and what he found and left me in no doubt about the issues that require further action. The written report and drone photos will allow me arrange the repairs as required and not pay for work that's not required and I feel certain I will save far more in repair costs than the cost of the survey.
I will highly recommend DMP Building Surveyors to friends in the future.

From an extremely welcoming introduction and immediate over the phone quotation from Emma at the start of the process, the service continued at a high level from start to finish.

Emma explained the service in detail and Andrew certainly did not disappoint with the execution.

Instruction of the survey within a week, immediate conversation detailing the main findings shortly after and a full detailed report to follow, I believe anything that could have been picked up and explained was - frankly, I'm not sure how such depth was achieved in the timescale!

Andrew generously accepted multiple spontaneous phone calls to clarify points and explain his findings, with his views forming the basis of the conversations we had with our solicitors. He truly made us feel like we were in the driver's seat!

We recently engaged DMP (Andrew) to carry out our building survey for a house we are purchasing. Great customer service experience. We received an excellent and very thorough survey report. Andrew was on hand with advice and for any questions we had and went through his findings with us in detail, which very much helped allay any concerns we had, especially being first time buyers and new to the whole buying process. Friendly, expert and professional service, excellent local surveyors and we would highly recommend!!

We had a survey carried out on a house we are purchasing. John who was our surveyor went above and beyond with explaining the process and the survey was fantastic! Very in-depth and detailed report. John helped us understand everything in the report and any areas we needed to be concerned about regarding the house. There attention to detail is excellent! We needed the survey carried out rather quickly and they fitted us in the same week and we received our initial report the same day and full report very quickly after that. In the autumn of 2013 our kitchen shop in Tenterden High Street fell victim to a fire that gutted the entire 17th century premises. After the initial shock of what has happened and daily meetings with the loss adjuster, Douglas Moat were on site and on board within the week. Apart from a complete internal rebuild, we were looking for a Phoenix to rise from the ashes and Douglas Moat delivered that and more. We had the demand of English Heritage and the local council to satisfy and DMP came up with the plans to satisfy them and us. Whatever concessions we made during this rebuild there were more than offset by the end product we eventually received two years later. The character of the building was maintained throughout but at the same time we had the cutting edge beautiful looking shop designed for the 21st century retail.

In 2018 we invited them back. Our garden machinery department was in need of a thorough overhaul. Two single story buildings were the focus of this project. One was a former 18 century slaughterhouse adjacent to a derelict store room. The main brick built part with its Kent peg tile roof was to be retained while the storeroom was demolished and replaced by a traditional design building that linked and matched the former. Again DMP pulled it off. The end result was the birth of a stunning show room with practical workshop attached.

With two projects now completed, we would have no hesitation in recommending DMP to anyone who requires step-by-step guidance, advice with accessibility to a whole pool of adventurous ideas when embarking on any plan. Whether it be modern or traditional or both, DMP will come up with something to suit your taste and budget.
