Great product!

When my towels first arrived i thought they were thin, how would they ansorb moisture etc but took them on holiday with us. Light to carry, didn't take up room in the suitcase, they covered all the sunbed, dried quickly as i hate lying on a wet towel, they look great too! I love them! 5*

Bought these after seeing the adverts…

Bought these after seeing the adverts online loads and wanted to give these a try … saved them until holiday on 7th October for a week and I have to say they have not disappointed at all , does exactly what it says . Quick drying , folds compact and we even gave them a rinse in travel wash and they dried in no time doesn’t really hold the sand .PERFECT! We will be purchasing a few more for our children now

Disappointed

I bought this towel to take to Portugal as it's lightweight and promised so much ! Yes the towel is lightweight and sand did not stick to it when I was on the beach but when I used it to dry myself it was awful. The towel didn't absorb water and I was left soaking wet and very chilly. I bought a traditional towel locally in the end. Very disappointed Dock and Bay.

Quick dry towel

I was looking forward to using this towel on my current vacation, I ordered a while ago in preparation for the towel arriving for my holiday, which it did very prompt delivery, I was excited with the little pouch and how much space it would save in my case. I arrived on my holiday yesterday used the towel, it felt comfy to lie on, also kept the sand off it great I thought! Until I came to dry myself which was not great at all! They don’t absorb the water from your body. Leaving me soaking wet! Disappointed dock and bay.

Excellent company with great customer…

Excellent company with great customer service. Have purchased 10 towels this year from Dock and Bay which I’m really pleased with. Had an issue with one towel having some imperfections but the team responded really quickly with a replacement. Thank you 🤩

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. I ordered a towel and beach bag to match and received an email saying the towel was no longer available but I could change the colour at the same price. As I wanted the two products to match I explained this and understood if changing the bag wasn’t possible I would cancel the order. The service was excellent, I changed the colour of the products and two days later they arrived. I am very happy with them and would definitely use Dock and Bay again

No sign of my order and no contact

Ordered a beach towel a week ago with a 2-4 day shipping estimate. I have tried to contact the company yesterday and today via email and online form with no reply. The towel was for a holiday I go on on Friday which should have come in plenty of time. Extremely disappointed with the (lack of) service.

Neopolitan stripes

There was a hiccup with my system for ordering and I contacted the sales dept who were able to sort it for me quickly.
Quality and styles of ponchos is great, much easier than trying to get changed on the beach struggling with a towel. Have poncho, towel & tote now, all matching, I'm like a neopolitan icecream 🌞

Excellent towels

We bought two XL towels to take on our honeymoon 10 years ago and they’re still going strong today. Great quality and everyone always comments on the colours and how quick they dry. I’ll be buying some matching ones for our two children!

Avoid if you want to receive your goods on time or at all.

So wanted to love this brand but was let down. Ordered a gift for a friend which never turned up. Apparently there was an error in their system so my order never made it to the warehouse. I was promised it was going to be sent out the next day with express shipping but that didn’t happened, having to wait for days for anyone to reply. So frustrating, I haven’t received my order nor a refund. No contact number on their website to call. Such a shame.

Colour off

Love the towels, ordered 1 for me, Bora Bora beige and one for my husband, Goa grey.
Goa grey is great, but honestly the beige which I would think is like an oatmeal colour…. beige, turned out to be more apricot. Disappointed , not happy but it will do. Yet to use them.

I have ordered a beach towel in a small bag and have been debited but haven’t received the towel. I have contacted the company but no response. It was for a birthday present. Unfortunately I needed it tomorrow.

I really wanted to like Dock & Bay…

I really wanted to like Dock & Bay, but unfortunately, the customer service experience has completely ruined it for me.

I’ve had an ongoing issue, and their team takes several days to reply—if they reply at all. When they finally do respond, it’s clear they’ve not actually read or understood the issue, and I’m just sent a generic or irrelevant response. There’s no accountability, no follow-through, and no sense of urgency.

To make things worse, even the most basic problems turn into a slow, frustrating cycle of repeating yourself. It’s as if the customer’s time and patience don’t matter.

And just to be clear: I’m not writing this to get a copy-and-paste “we’re sorry to hear this” reply. I’m sharing my experience so other people know what to expect.

Part of my order is missing

Part of my order is missing - I messaged immediately via the contact page on Friday 25th 2025.
No response by Monday 28th. I sent a complaint via the help desk . No one has made contact.
The towels look great , but if you have a problem the process is slow , which is a surprise for an online company in this digital age .
Just send the towel that is missing from my bundle !!
