GF Went to Borough London for consult

GF Went to borough London for consult. Tried to call email noone picks up , she was never given any invoice or notes so that she could claim on insurance. Resorted to come on here. Can someone at least help me from doctap side.

7 months on the NHS, 2 days with DocTap

My experience with DocTap has been exceptional. Frustrated with the slow going, dismissive and unsupportive experience with the NHS whilst investigating a health issue, I felt I had to take matters into my own hands. I was initially simply looking for somewhere that could do a diabetes test for me on a short timescale and found Doc Tap. From then I got so much more than I was hoping for:
- I was able to book the consultation for the same day (for 3 hours after first registering)
- registration process was quick and painless
- in the consultation I summarised my history with the NHS, my family history and my desire to test for prediabetes, I was also asked a lot of questions in the short period of time, clearly a very efficient way of building a picture
- the doctor was kind and attentive and was able (in the 15 minute consultation) to explain what the NHS was looking for, why, summarise the condition, offer a potential diagnosis (with a clearly laid out reasoning and reference to which diagnostic criteria I meet and which I don't and why that might be)
- he offered me a lot more information on the issue and its implications and related conditions
- we agreed on which tests I should do and on a safe medication to try
- I was then sent a prescription and a test referral on the same day
- the next morning I went to the lab to have bloods taken and FOUR hours later I had results, complete with a note from the same doctor on the recommended course of action based on these results and our consultation!
For comparison - having blood tests, results and follow ups with the NHS had taken 7 months in the past.
I would recommend doctap to everyone who has a potentially complex issue or a non standard one. The prices were reasonable, the experience was an incredibly pleasant and efficient one. I will definitely be sticking with doctap.

I have the most amazing experience with…

I have the most amazing experience with DocTap. Everything from arranging the appointment right down to the service received has been excellent. I'd really recommend seeing Dr Mengyan Lu especially as it pertains to mental health. She is empathetic and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful five star 🌟

This clinic and specifically Namoy offered the most wonderful service not only me, but extended family and friends (13 in total!) ahead of a cruise and related Covid screening requirements.
Namoy was so kind, switched on and with a warm and fun side too. If you are in the area I'd highly recommend this clinic!

I have been emailing DocTap religiously over the last 24 hours, having booked the wrong date for my test. The number on the website does not work and no one is responding to emails. I have emailed both addresses on your website. Please can someone get back to me immediately. This is very poor customer service.

Booked four fit to fly tests

Booked four fit to fly tests. As the government changed the requirements we no longer need tests to fly. Called to cancel & was told they charge £15 per person admin fee to cancel. This is an absolute ripoff & cheek. We’ve had to pay £60 for nothing. Companies like this should not be allowed to trade. I can’t see them being around for very long when they treat people in this way. Be kind & it follows you. So I wouldn’t not recommend this company at all. Other companies out there would not charge for a cancellation that was out of your hands!

We automatically charge a cancellation fee when a patient cancels an appointment within 4 hours to ensure that people do not 'reserve' appointments with no intention of actually attending. However, we do understand that with regards to covid tests, things can change at the last minute and so we are always willing to refund this fee for patients who are forced to cancel tests, as long as they have not completed the appointment.

Scheduling COVID-19 Tests

We initially had issues booking 5 COVID-19 tests for a flight to the States. I emailed the published email address and heard back from Amna in an hour and she was able to help us get everything scheduled. Very easy to work with.

Doctors great, everything else useless

The doctors are great, but everything surrounding the service is totally useless. Their booking systems are very broken, and their payment systems are very insecure and in breach of their merchant obligations. Avoid them for anything but the simplest task.

Great service. Great people but complicated getting a prescription after a phone appointment.

The doctors and administrative staff at Doctap are much to be recommended: helpful and expert at a reasonable price. I had one difficult experience today. They don't send prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice after a phone appointment. There's a code sent which your pharmacist has to use by logging into a third party verifier. Other services such as delivery are offered by the verifier. But if your pharmacist can't make the code work, getting your prescription (private and paid for) is more complicated and tedious than the NHS or other private services.
