They are absolutely TERRIBLE

They are absolutely TERRIBLE! Don’t believe their message online. Their business practices are NOT geared toward customer service. They don’t ship on time or will allow you amble time to change your order status. This is a TERRIBLE business. Choose another source for these types of products.

Sent wrong size and never replaced the item

I ordered 2 XS harnesses and paid $60. They sent a XS and one S. I contacted them about this and they keep saying they are sending the correct size. They never have. Scam and rip off. This is the email they send out:

Hello Kristopher,

Thanks for your patience whilst we're processing your request.

As you requested, we've granted your request for the replacement on the wrong size you've received.

A tracking number will be provided soon. I'll get back to you immediately once I have it. ​

If there's anything else you need, please let me know.

This is my second review

This is my second review. After my first 1 star review of Dog City they sent me an e-mail saying they were sending out another harness. I waited a long time and then followed up. Then I got this e-mail, what a joke. All I asked was to exchange a medium for a small.

My apologies for the inconvenience.

So that I can look into this for you, please provide a photo of the harness you've received showing the issue you have with it.

Also, please provide a photo while you're measuring your dog, the measurement numbers (girth) see photo attached for reference and
the weight (lbs) of your dog, you can also send recent documents/ vet bills of weight but not later than 3 months.

Please attach as well the shipping label of the order you've received for confirmation.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Do not buy from this company. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau for fraud. They have made claims that they sent me my order and they did not. They have been giving me the run around since March to refund my money .

Buyers beware of these crooks

Buyers beware of these crooks. I purchased a harness from them for my puppy which ended up being too big. I had the same problem as many tried to exchange it and I was given the run around. Sent pictures with measurements of dog and i think they wiped their ass with it. So far i'm still waiting for them to exchange it. I keep getting emails to send pictures and measurements. Never again

Frustrating customer service and no returns

I had trouble with the sizing of these harnesses. Wearing the medium my dog got so stuck we had the cut it off of him. The company gave me 40% off the next size I tried. I also wasn’t thrilled with that size so I wanted to return it. The rep sent me a list of things to photograph in order to get an exchange. After several emails explaining I didn’t want an exchange just a refund, the rep informed me that they needed all of the info anyway. What kind of company doesn’t allow you to return items you’re not happy with? Very frustrating experience and I ended up just keeping the harness I don’t want instead of continuing the back and forth email exchange.

Difficult Transaction

Dogcity's website was advertised on Facebook. I accessed their website, and ordered a size Small harness based on their website charts. Dogcity charged my bank card an International Point of Sale fee of $0.90, which was not disclosed on their website. I disputed this fee with them, but they refused to refund the fee. I then disputed the fee with my bank, and received credit to my bank account. After receiving the harness, I put it on my dog, and found it was entirely too big. I contacted the company for an exchange. What followed was an exchange of 17 e-mails between myself and Dogcity before I finally received my replacement harness. I have never experienced such difficulty dealing with a company regarding an exchange/return. Although the harness is nice, I do not recommend this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I ordered two small harnesses to their recommendation from their own chart. one of the harnesses is too big. I have emailed and 3 different people have responded with robotic messages. all I need is an exchange. the other harness somewhat fits but is still dangerous due to she slipped out of it on our first walk. I responded to all their messages with many pictures then they finally totally ignore you.

Bad buy, not as advertised

Unable to return ill-fitting jacket and extremely heavy leash. Measured my Chihuahua but fabric is not pliable, cannot make adjustments for proper fit. No response from customer service regarding refund. Total misrepresented in ad. Dog cannot walk!

Ordered 3 harnesses and 3 name tags. Received 1 harness and 3 name tags. Customer service has absolutely terrible. No refund, no indication they will reship (they say the other 2 harnesses were delivered separately, not true)

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANT TO HONOR THEIR ORDERS. $60 down the drain.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I couldn't get anywhere when trying to return the harness for a smaller size. It's not really good quality anyway so I'm going to just eat the $30 dollars and let everyone know it's a bad company to deal with.

We received the wrong sized harness for…

We received the wrong sized harness for our dog after referring to DogCity's size chart. Our dog's weight fit in the lower end of the medium-sized scale. However, the harness was too large! It took several messages to make them understand that we were correct in ordering a medium based on their scale. Finally, after sending them a copy of the size chart that appears on their website, they agreed and sent us a small one. It took a little work, but it was worth the effort. The harness with her name and phone number on a detachable velcro swatch is very nice. Just know they run large!

This company has terrible customer service! The phone number does not work, and they do not offer refunds for poorly fitting And cheap harnesses. Their product and customer service is sad and cheap! I’m sorry I ever gave this company a chance!

Difficult to exchange for smaller size

I recently purchased a harness online. When i received it, i did not immediately put it on my dog, but did the next day. When i put it on him and took him for a walk, I realized the harness was too big, as it was turning while he walked. I ordered a Large, as my dog was at the top of the medium size and thought the large would work. Well I set the straps to the SMALLEST settings, and this is when i found it was too big on him, so I wrote to see if I could get a Medium. Here is what they wrote back to me, and had this all in BOLD font:

Also, please provide a photo while you're measuring your dog, the measurement numbers chest girth, and the weight of your dog on a scale.

Not sure if anyone else has had issues, but I will not be buying from them again, nor recommending them to others.

So disappointed with the customer…

So disappointed with the customer service at DogCity. I ordered a harness and jacket and the tracking number they sent didn’t work. When I checked in with the company to ask where my package was they said it had already been delivered which is not true. Our office is closed and there are signs ALL over our mail room that packages are not permitted to be delivered there. I live on street level and they should have brought it to my door. I’m home every day because of covid so there’s no way I would have missed the package. When I contacted them they were unapologetic and took no responsibility, stating I needed to contact FedEx; whom say it was delivered. Terrible customer service. Just shop on Amazon and skip trying to help this small company.

I wouldn't even give 1 star. Received XS instead of M - When I requested to exchange....they gave me the runaround. Not even worth my time to type this bad review or waste my money to return. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The harness is not engraved they engraved some plastic tabs to attach to the harness with Velcro and it does not look like what is on the website and they do not want to give refunds if you are not satisfied.. this company is a scam and I am reporting to the BBB and asking my bank to investigate refund

Do not order from them!

Do not order from them!! Complete scam- it’s not embroidered with the name or phone number. Does not look the same as advertised, will not refund money and completely incompetent with their “customer service”. SO wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my money!
