Dog Haus offers flavorful hot dogs and sausages with a fun, casual atmosphere. The toppings and combinations are creative, though some items can feel a bit heavy. Service was friendly and the ordering process was smooth. Overall, a good spot for a quick, satisfying meal.
This was our fourth evening at the Dog Haus. We have "endured" the young lady at the hostess stand three times. We were there last night, 6/21/25. She hates her job and I'm pretty sure she hates people. Very nasty to deal with. The server was energetic and attentive, but waiting 20 minutes for a drink is just unacceptable. The food is good and moderately priced. The outdoor lights were burnt out or nonexistent, which affected the ambiance. The smell of sewer was overwhelming and disgusting. On top of all this we've spent over $275- here and yet we can't have our "points" because we won't register a credit card with restaurant. You folks seriously need to review your business plan. New Albanys nightlife has really taken off, you folks are not in the same class as The Enchanted Forest, or even the little outdoor area at Past Times.
