Amazing amazing amazing!

Graham was brilliant and made me and our Labrador Lilo so welcome. The studio session was fun and Graham took lots of photos using different backdrops and props and somehow managed to get Lilo to pose beautifully!! We then went out into the woodland, and despite the fact it was raining, Graham went out of his way to make sure we got lots of good photos, and was even happy to lie on the muddy wet ground to get a good shot!

The photos are amazing and I was overwhelmed at how lovely they all were. I am so so pleased with the results and we had a fab experience. I highly recommend you book Graham, you won’t be disappointed!

Graham made us very welcome and was very professional with the photo shoot. His work is of a very high standard and his love of dogs showed especially when our dogs were not co-operating.We would highly recommend him.

Had a great experience at Dogodog Photography, Graham was friendly and professional and even put my slightly nervous dog at ease. Would highly recommend if you’re wanting some high quality, everlasting photos of your pooch 🐕🐾

Last Sunday my husband and I did something we thought that we would never do -------------we had our two four legged members of the family photographed! We had often passed stands at Country Shows offering photographs or paintings of beloved pets and thought it was a lovely thing to have done but not something we would spend money on. This all changed when we stopped at Dogodog Photography at an event earlier in the year. Graham takes photographs of his canine clients in a studio but what really caught our attention were the wonderful photographs taken outdoors in beautiful woodland. So instead of taking a card and giving the usual line of "great photographs but we will think about it" we paid a deposit and last Sunday, with some trepidation, we arrived at Dogodog headquarters just outside Colchester. There is a saying "don't work with children or animals" but from the moment we arrived we could see that Graham was a natural and it wasn't long before Teasel, our young Black Labrador and Pippin, a very scruffy and busy Working Cocker Spaniel, were dog treats in his hands! Graham uses different backdrops and props such as a gorgeous red leather Chesterfield chair and a plush velvet sofa for his shots and has an amazing lighting system to get the right effect. The studio session was great fun with much laughter and wagging of tails but our time outside for us was the best, particularly on a sunny crisp early winter day with the trees just starting to turn and all the wonderful colours that this time of year brings. Shots in between ferns, poses on logs and even his trademark "Wellie Boot" shot, time passed by very quickly. After a quick lunch in the local pup, whilst Graham sorted out the best photographs for viewing, we returned to the studio to see the results. We went through over 60 shorts and were quite overwhelmed at the images we saw of our dearly loved hounds - no airbrushing or enhancing, just Teasel and Pippin. It was very difficult to reduce the images to the best 20 but we did and rather than have one large wall image we have chosen a beautiful wooden selection box which will contain 20 mounted photographs that we can alternate on the little wooden easel that comes with the package. We had a super day with Graham are really excited about receiving our photograph box in a few weeks time. Teasel and Pippin enjoyed their day too but I think appreciate it is hard work being a model and have decided to stick to the day job of hoovering up after their owners, enjoying daily walks and taking it in turns to try and sneak up on the sofa!

Our experience with graham at the studio was amazing! It was a fun day for not only our crazy cocker spaniel but for me and my partner. We were really impressed with the set up and the photos taken - not to mention the poses our dog would do with some treat bribing!

The studio and the woods that back onto the building were just amazing.

It was a fun day out for all and our dog was absolutely shattered after!!

The pictures turned out absolutely incredible and we are SO excited to receive our copies.

I took my two spaniels to see Graham in Layer and we had a lovely few hours both in the Studio and out in the woods taking photos. After a quick refreshment break we returned to watch the slideshow, the photos are gorgeous and it was quite emotional, the only problem I had was picking the best one! Graham is very good with the dogs and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Amazing experience with our dogs at the photo shoot - the photos were just fabulous :) would definitely recommend highly.

A top class photographer bonds strightaway with your pet even has a wecome board with there name on , the setting in the studio or in the private woods attached to the studio is outstanding ,
with my 3 dogs to sit in line for the shot took a while but he has patience and understanding ,

What a fantastic experience for both dog and owner, I enjoyed the photo shoot as much as my dog did! Graham does an excellent job to make you feel welcome and to put your dog at ease and comfort whilst he takes shots.

Fun photoshoot, which we all enjoyed. Great shots in studio and in local woods. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and presentation of all photographs. Can't wait to receive the final pictures.

Lovely experience from start to finish. Beautiful studio with all the props you need, lovely area outside for photos and the viewing room was something else. Graham made us feel very special including our dogs. He was very patient too. Well worth it.

Fabulous. What a nice guy. Wonderful with my boys. Took plenty of time and we are very pleased with the results. Impressive studio and location. Easy parking. Quiet and safe. Which allowed the boys to have a good sniff around and stretch their legs.

We were greeted by Graham at his studio and straight away Graham was making a fuss of Teddy and letting him get used to the studio. The day only got better after 1 hour in the studio we then went off to the woodland area with Teddy running off lead and posing for Graham. Graham took the most amazing photo's of Teddy and I really don't know how we whittled them down to 22 but we have chosen 3 and the box set and so happy with them all. I can only say this was an absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend to anyone

Graham’s patience and understanding with my two very sensitive dogs was amazing! He went above and beyond to become friends with them, and gave them as much time as they needed to relax. So much so, they had a lovely time at the studio and really seemed to enjoy the whole experience. The end results were fantastic! The only problem I had, was deciding which photos I liked best, there were so many that really were brilliant!

Such a lovely day! We arrived at the studio to be greeted by Graham, who instantly made us feel welcome. Scooby got some fussing & a gravy bone on arrival so he was quite happy. Both the studio session and the walk in the forest were professionally done & very relaxed even though Scooby had his own ideas of what he was & wasn't going to do for the photos! A typical border terrier! The end results were superb, I'll admit to shedding a tear when I saw the beautiful images that Graham had created, he really caught the essence of Scooby & we were delighted with the end results. If anyone is looking for a dog photographer who shows a real passion for their subject, Graham is the one for you.

Graham quickly put the little star (and his ‘parents’) at their ease. The studio session was fun and some tasty treats encouraged His Majesty to sit on tables & chairs and pose as required.

The outdoor session in a beautiful woodland next to Graham’s studio was lovely, as the bluebells were still out which Graham used to full advantage.

When we returned after lunch we were thrilled and delighted by the shots Graham had produced. So professionally done but also so natural.

We are therefore extremely happy to recommend Graham at Dogodog if you’d like a wonderful lasting memory of your own dog. Graham is very friendly and obviously loved all dogs to bits.

Had a really fun and interesting experience. My 1 year old didn't make it easy for him. Charlie took an instant liking to Graham who is a great guy and really patient. Graham took fantastic photos so it was a shame we couldn't get them all but we opted for a package containing a wall hanging and a box of photos. Thoroughly recommend him.

I won a photoshoot with Graham for my two Greek Rescues who we’ve only had just over 3.5 years and they aren’t puppy's (now 6 and 8). Booking was easy and Graham was really approachable and friendly, a genuine nice guy passionate about what he does. He was great with the boys who seemed to like him - although the treats could have something to do with it. Graham’s studio and the outside space for photos is really great and can see pictures at different times of the year being excellent with the changing seasons. I had a set idea of what pictures I would like but getting the dogs to behave and sit still long enough for Graham to get pictures was sometimes difficult (I know that Graham worked hard to get some of the shots) and I think for them it was too long a session (approx 3 hours, 2 of those were in the studio). Graham did manage to get a lot of great photos, the detail in the photos is amazing. The viewing room where you look at your photos is lovely and the boys promptly fell asleep on the sofa. Grahams products are high end and to be very honest we had to narrow down our favourites a lot to just the free print, although we may treat ourselves to a couple more at a later date. If only we had the money and the wall space for more.
