They just keep getting it wrong

They just keep getting it wrong - sometimes intentionally.

Started with Domain.com.au not listing a property as sold for months after the event.. then their valuations were manually modified 40% down from the previous sold price. After being questioned, the ironic response was they needed to investigate to make sure data was accurate!

They THEN changed the classification of the house to a farm as if it was some punishment for my complaint.

If I wasn't annoyed, I would find it amusing.

Oh it get's better - then they ignore you after trying to follow up for months..

There needs to be some proper regulation/oversight of these guys given they are reporting information on peoples homes and investments - which can sometimes be intentionally misleading.

Definitely a bigger fan of the other guys now.

Misleading Valuations and Zero Accountability

Domain is an absolutely disgraceful company. Their property valuations are wildly inaccurate, and their so‑called “high estimates” feel like numbers pulled out of thin air. These figures have a massive impact on both buyers and sellers, yet Domain provides no transparency about how they’re calculated.

Buyers often rely on these estimates because they don’t always trust their agent, and sellers expect the platform to reflect the true value of their home. Instead, Domain publishes figures that can be hundreds of thousands of dollars off. In my case, my home is undervalued by $700,000, and despite raising it with them, they can’t explain where their “highest estimate” even came from. They do nothing to fix it, leaving homeowners to deal with the fallout of their careless and misleading data.

A platform with this much influence should be held to a far higher standard.

Has completely wrong property details…

Has completely wrong property details listed on my property listing, which means the valuation is completely wrong, causing subsequent impacts. They do not allow you to correct the details, and they give you no timeline on when they will fix the issues.

Incorrect information and they don't care

They have my property listed as sold by a real estate company in 2025. I have never had contact with this company. Further, they have my home listed as land only. I have a 3 bedroom house and have lived here for over 20 years. Repeated requests to delete this incorrect information have not had any success. This incorrect information will affect any possible sale I am contemplating.

Domain.com.au ignores fake listings and…

Domain.com.au ignores fake listings and misleading ads. Builders like BuiltPilot are listed as property sellers when they don’t actually sell properties (see: 33266). Domain seems to care more about revenue from these fake ads than maintaining listing integrity. This in in violation of the ACCC rules on false or misleading claims, which require businesses to provide accurate information. Domain’s disregard for these issues shows a lack of commitment to honest practices. Avoid this scammer site and company.

They're terrible

They, Domain, acted as if they were very hard up for money. They were confusing, not helpful at all. When I tried to explain I wasn't domain/website savvy the mushiness even got worse. When I contacted on the seventh day of service with them, they said they couldn't reimburse any money. And the worse thing is that they wanted more money for anything extra they would do, i.e., link our present website that has already been built with one of the domains we had purchased. I would use this company if they were the very last service in the world.

They don't have a clue

These so called experts don't have a clue .
They Underestimated the value of my property by $120.000
compared to every Other R/E agent Making it very difficult to sell my home privately . I asked them to review . They then lowered valuation even more incompetence at every level .. had to take house off market ..

Zero stars is not an option

DO NOT TRUST THE VALIDITY OF ANYTHING PUBLISHED ON ANY PART OF DOMAIN.COM.AU
This website has incorrect information about many properties and therefore NOTHING they display can be trusted. Property descriptions, photos, sales history and valuations about the two properties I own are all incorrect. I have tried to get the errors fixed but this company doesn't care that it is misleading the public and refuses to change the incorrect information.
