We made our purchase on price and if it were not for that (the lowest price for the item) the review would have been a 1.

Reason is basically lack of comms.

Purchased item and awaited delivery.... and waited... and waited...

I had to call them only to find out the product shipped directly from overseas so no UK stock, this was not advertised anywhere in the sales process and even worse not even communicated after purchase, I had to chase the information.

Waited... Waited...

Called up again (now on the 14 day mark) to be told they were unsure but would call me back. Normally when someone says they'll call you back I take it to mean soon, certainly the same day. No, took the next day... Was told the machine would be delivered the next day...

Later that day was contacted by the carrier to ask if Friday was suitable for delivery...

Called carrier to say was was told by seller to expect it tomorrow but no, the message should have been it can be shipped tomorrow...

3 days later a full 18 days after ordering I get my machine.

So, the low mark is down to lack of communication...

I wasn't sure which manufacturer, type and size of shredder would be best. I was very grateful for the support offered. The purchase was easy and it does what I want it to do.

When looking for good quality products, then this is the place to visit. Excellent selection and all at the best price I could find on the net. They advertise products what they don't have on stock, you place the order for 1-4 days delivery, they don't notify you the product is out of stock, you must contact them to find out after many days waiting for your order.

Have used Don Ruffles several times over the years to buy shredders / shredding supplies. Always find them well priced with quick delivery.

The website is easy to navigate and find the best machine for my needs. My order arrive a few days later and was well packaged. I had no need to contact anyone at Don Ruffles as everything was done online. Great service.

I ordered a Kobra machine on line and within a couple of hours, received an email saying the machine I ordered was actually out of stock and they would be supplying the next version up for the same price. It arrived a couple of days later. Can't ask for more!

Had a bad experience with one of Don Ruffles companies a couple of years ago.
Just needed to buy a couple of laminators and only at the check out did I notice it was his company. Needless to say I pulled out of the transaction and saved myself a load of trouble

Very helpful staff , quick delivery

Enjoyable experience in general. Friendly and helpful apart from the non-communication on the delivery date. Was still chasing and the machine just turned up one day. Even though it's supposed to be a curb side delivery but the gentleman kindly brought it up to us.

This company is the owners of shreddingmachines They own multiple companies selling the same products? The service I received from shredding machines was terrible. They were so rude and unpleasant on the phone. They have a restocking charge which is not advertised anywhere until you try and return something then they make you aware. I will be reporting them to trading standards!

Good machine, however doesn't do 12/15 pages at once and you need to reduce otherwise pages get stuck.
Delivery was awful, company that delivered left outside another office premises and ran! It's not a light machine. Very disappointed with that aspect and complained to manufacturer and to date 3 weeks or so later no response.

The price was very good the delivery was prompt and the machine itself is exceptional. Place the paper in the machine and walk away, it does all the work for you. The draw is of a good capacity and the machine is neat and compact. I am totally happy. Thank you Donruffles excellent service.

Item arrived , as described and overall it was good value for money however I was a little disappointed with the speed of dispatch. When I first checked online the shredder I wanted was out of stock but more were due for delivery on the 4th of October. I waited until then and the next time I went online the shredder was "in stock" so I duly placed my order. Later that day I went back online to check something with my order , low and behold the shredder was now back out of stock with next delivery due to be on the 18th October...as my order hadn't arrived by the 19th October (ie over 2 weeks later!) I was just about to make contact with Don Ruffles customer services to find out what was going on when there was a knock on the door and the courier was there with my parcel. My point being is that there was absolutely no communication from your team to say there had been a problem with the stock not arriving as advertised for the 4th October - maybe just a quick email would have helped settle the mind of a new customer to yourselves !!

Cheapest price I could find and arrived very quickly. What more could you want?
