Been going there for months and Half…

Been going there for months and Half the time my vehicles come out half dirty. This week my $325 Custom Tire cover that I got for Xmas and was Secured to my vehicle was Ripped off, Sucked into the machine on the floor and was Destroyed in the Drying phase and Manager asked me to make a Claim which I did. GM, Who knows me Never even reached out to me about the Incident and then Denied it without even Speaking to me. This Place is Run by a Worthless human.

Hello Susan - We are sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience and disagree with the outcome of your claim. As our signage at the entrance of the car wash states, “We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old.” The footage shows that your aftermarket tire cover came off under the blowers meaning it was not properly secured. Nothing malfunctioned during your wash to cause or contribute to this incident so unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for this incident since it does fall in line with incidents that can occur with unsecured aftermarket parts and is advised by our signage before you enter the wash. We apologize for any frustration you have experienced and wish you the best

Deceptive practices

Deceptive practices and cancellation terms. I was told there was a discount for applying for membership and when I went to cancel it, it charged me $5. Apparently if you cancel within 45 days, it will charge you. No matter how much they ask you to buy a membership, don't do it.

Response to reply: Never was I told about the fee by the staff at the car wash and thought I could just do it for an month to wash all my cars. I was wrong. The fee is unclear up until you cancel the subscription and in the terms, the fee is only mentioned in a single sentence located in the middle of a bunch of other text.

Hello Ryan - we apologize for any frustration or misunderstanding you have experienced.  At the time of every account creation, the customer signs the terms and conditions and is sent a welcome email that includes the renewal date, renewal price, and these terms. Our terms and conditions are also available on our website for your convenience at www.dontdrivedirty.com/terms.  Included in these terms it does state that cancellations should be done 10 days prior to the billing date and that there is a $5 cancellation fee IF an account is canceled in the first 45 days. After the initial 45 days, you may cancel at any time without this minor fee. This is in place to prevent the abuse of special promotions. However, even with this $5 fee - our promotions still give you a great deal if you choose to not continue the service. We hope this better explains and clarifies any confusion.

Dishonest company who stole from my minor daughter

My 17 year old daughter had a monthly subscription and cancelled it (as I sat beside her) in June. In January her bank account was coming up short and she checked her account only to find Quick Quack was still charging her monthly. I called them and they confimed she hadn't used her subscription since May but said there was no confimation of her cancelling her policy. They offered to give her back her last charge but said, "We don't give refunds for lack of use and we have no record of her cancellation." I told them it wasn't a lack of use, we live less than a mile from the car wash, it was cancelled which is why she stopped using it. The guy said he was "the supervisor on the floor and got to make the final decision." I asked 10 times for a manager, his boss, anyone else who could help me and he contined to say he was the supervisor and his decision was final and refused to me talk to anyone else or give me an email (other than the home page) or phone number for anyone above him repeating continuously, talking over the top of me, that he was the supervisor and makes the final decision. This was the WORST customer service I have had along with the theft of my daughter's hard earned money. There was no common sense applied and it seems that the montly plan is a scam to steal. Quick Quack has lost customers for life and we have had 4 cars on monthly plans here. They would have made more money doing the right thing but they weren't interested. I know there are a lot of bad reviews out there but trust me when I tell you they won't cancel your subscription over the phone and will steal from you without conscience. Go somewhere else. I will not support dishonest companies.

Hello Misti - we apologize for any issue you have had with your cancellation. When every account is created, every customer signs the terms and conditions, including our cancellation instructions and policies. We also immediately send a welcome email with the renewal date, the renewal price, and a link to these terms for reference. These terms are available for viewing on our website. We do everything possible to be clear with our customers regarding our policies. As it states in the terms and conditions: "5.2 You can cancel Services (including removing a vehicle from a Flock Pricing plan) at any time. When you cancel, you are solely responsible for properly canceling the Services. You may cancel the Services by giving notice at least ten (10) days prior to the renewal date of your Services by email at info@dontdrivedirty.com or by phone at 888-772-2792."

Unfortunately, we have no record of the cancellation request or attempt to contact customer service regarding cancellation, until your phone call on 1/7/25 when the account was canceled in January. Without a request for cancellation we could only offer a courtesy one month refund. We apologize for any frustration this situation has caused you.

Credit Card Fraud

There's nothing wrong with the car wash itself, it's their tactics. They lie about a free wash. They trick you to get you in a line where you can't get out without going through the wash, and in order to go through the wash you must pay, and in order to pay they are going to force you to sign up for their membership. Then the employees reveal that it does in fact cost 10 dollars minimum for a one time wash. I was lied to by an employee and thought I was signing up for a one time car wash for 9.99. Instead, he used my credit card to sign me up for a year long, automatic renewal membership at 22 dollars per month. He did not at any point tell to me that he was signing me up for a membership, probably because he knew I wouldn't actually buy one and so he decided he could do whatever he wanted with my card anyway. Will not be going back, and will be reporting for credit card fraud if any additional transactions go through.

They keep charging me after cancelling and still haven't refunded the one month "courtesy refund"

After I cancelled they continued to charge me. When I contacted them they said they claimed they couldn't finish cancelling due to needing more validation from me, said they sent me an email which I never responded to and can only refund for one of the several months of charges (As I had cancelled several months ago) as a "courtesy". But even after this they continued to charge me again and I still have not gotten a refund yet.

Hello Garrett - we apologize for any frustration you have experienced with your cancellation. In order to cancel an account we do have the verify the account ownership before we make any changes. This is part of making sure that every account is secure and your information is protected.

In your initial request you did not provide the account information needed so our team replied to your request asking for the account information. Since we did not receive a response we could not verify the account and therefore could not make any changes. If you still need assistance with your account, or the refund, please reach out directly to our customer care at 888-772-2792 and they will be happy to look into any concerns or questions.

I am so disappointed to say that I will…

I am so disappointed to say that I will never go to or use quick quack again. My in person experience was absolutely phenomenal throughout my time having a membership with them. However, their telephone customer service is an absolute joke. I went a month ago to get a car wash and the cute girl working the line told me about the deal they had going on for the most expensive membership plan. I believe it was half off. Normally $38.99 and was $18. I said I would get it but that I needed to know when I needed to cancel it and how. She told me that I could cancel it in person or online and that I just needed to do it by 11/05. Yesterday 11/03 I was charged $38.99 (two days early). I went ahead and emailed their customer service expressing that I would like to cancel and would like a refund since they charged me early. They proceeded with canceling my membership but did not address the refund. So today 11/04 I called the customer service line and spoke with Braden who told me that the girl who sold me the membership gave me the wrong info and that he would not be able to give me a refund. I wasted little time talking to him and asked to speak to a supervisor. Thats when I spoke to Breanna. She told me that she could not refund me either because the “system” wouldn’t allow her to. She also told me if Braden hadn’t already canceled my membership she would give me a free month (he isn’t the one who canceled my membership). She told me that in the fine print it states to cancel 5-10 business days before the renewal. Thats a joke considering in person when you ask they say nothing of the sort. Its sad because I truly have loved going there and have had such a great in person experience. But sadly Breanna and Braden ruined my experience and have made it so I will never go back. Not just that I will tell all of my family and friends not to go back either. How sad they cant refund $38.99 to have a returning customer, instead they lose a customer and probably many more than just myself. If you sign up for a membership here make sure that you don’t intend to cancel or that you cancel way far in advance because otherwise they will screw you over.

BEWARE….Horrible Customer Service- Will…

BEWARE….Horrible Customer Service- Will not pay for Vehicle Damage!!!! I Filed a claim for damage to my truck at Quick Quack car wash, the washes spinner brush tore off the front grill of my truck and was on camera. Cost was $2,300 in damage and they only agreed to pay me $600. I was ok with that, so went down to the store where they had me sign the location address to have the check sent. Check was supposed to arrive a month ago and three months since the incident report was initially filed quick quack is not paying and not answering phone calls. Quick Quack customer Service won’t provide the regional managers number to you and their system for paying a claim is corrupt by not holding the store manager accountable to contact you back. Without providing a regional managers contact there is not a way to ensure the store manager is being contacted, or being held accountable to follow through with having a claim paid to customers for vehicle damage. Just horrible customer service…as bad as it gets.

Went through the wash heard a loud…

Went through the wash heard a loud noise my wife said I think something just fell off.. it ripped my front fender molding off so I asked if they would look for the part and see if it fell off they said it didn’t I said well can you show me it was on before I went through the wash cause I wanted to see if they actually looked or not. I didn’t actually expect them to cover anything after talking to their customer service I realized they will never take any accountability when their machines are just improperly calibrated and testing stuff up.. should have listened to my grandpa and my wife scratches all over his jeep and it ripped my wife’s rear fender off on. (Meanwhile I’ve already accepted and fixed it myself) Well Over a month later and probably after the manager went through the stacks of complaint damage papers on their desk I get this email. If they cant at least apologize then why spend your money on a business that will take no accountability and could care less at least pretend.

Incident at Quick Quack
Good afternoon,
My name is Tina and I have been assigned as your point of contact for the incident that happened on 09/20/24, incident number 108463. First of all, we would like to thank you for your patience while we researched your reported incident. We have had our investigation team thoroughly review the video footage of your vehicle going to the wash. We can confirm that there was no malfunction of any equipment that caused the reported damage to your vehicle. In addition to there being no malfunction, Quick Quack maintains a policy that we do not cover damage to vehicles over 5 years old because of inherent wear and tear. With that, we will not be able to cover the damage to your vehicle.
Thank you for being a valued customer,

Hello Ryan- We are sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience and disagree with the outcome of your claim.  As our signage at the entrance of the car wash states, “We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old.” This claim was denied because the vehicle is over 5 years old which may have been the leading cause as to why this incident occurred. Over time, through normal wear and tear, parts become less secure and are more easily removed.  Nothing malfunctioned during your wash to cause this incident so unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for this incident since it does fall in line with incidents that can occur with the age of the vehicle and is advised by our signage before you enter the wash.  We apologize for any frustration you have experienced and wish you the best.

Hello Elias - we apologize that you had an unsatisfactory experience and for any misunderstanding that occurred during your interaction with customer care. Our customer care did receive a cancellation request from you on 9/16. At that time your account was cancelled. Unfortunately, there was some misunderstanding and you had intended to only cancel one vehicle on the account. When this was brought to our attention we did apologize for any misunderstanding and offered to assist you with resigning your other vehicle; however, we had a minor pricing change on Aug 1, 2024, and we are unable to revert to the pricing of your original plan as that is no longer available. For your inconvenience, our team did offer a month free membership which would effectively provide you with the equivalent of the previous pricing for 18 months. Unfortunately, this is the only solution we can offer as we cannot override the system and apply a price that is no longer available. We apologize that this solution was not satisfactory for you and for any frustration this situation has caused you and we hope to better serve you in the future.

Quick Quack are thieves!

Besides being overpriced there is also absolutely zero assistance if you run into a problem as I did. In my situation I was charged for an additional month even though I had requested my cancellation prior to the next month's due date and I was assured by an employee who took down my information that my ongoing monthly payment would stop prior to that date. After discovering this charge for over $30 on my credit card I tried contacting their customer service online and all I ever received was highly impersonal AI generated responses that didn't even address my issue.
It's all a load of crap. I would bet that even to this day an actual human has still not read my complaint to them. So basically I paid $30 and some change for a month of washes I never received. So they can keep their $30 but I will make sure and continue to post as many negative reviews about this unethical and crooked business as I can in addition to warning others to stay away from them. Since then, I have found a car wash that not only costs substantially less but actually does a better job and they don't try to trap you with auto pay whether you want it or not like Quick Qrap does.
This is a classic case of a another greedy company being pennywise and pound foolish. Also considering I work for a large auto parts distributor where we have numerous drivers, I will do my absolute best to ensure that they never use Quick Qrap. I will also ensure that the company does not ever open an account with Quick Qrap.

Deceptive Up Selling Practices

Went into the new Quick Quack Car Wash on 15424 Smile View, 80921. It is just off of Struthers, just south of Baptist Road on the east side. Saturday they had many people on the streets waving signs, "Free Car Wash". I went in the see. They up-sold me on an unlimited car was per month, for my primary vehicle for $9.99, and for my second car for $4.99. They didn't say there were any more terms. I confirmed that both vehicles would have unlimited washes for $14.98 total. Then I went through the car wash. When I got through it, I saw an email from them. The $9.99 price was now $37.99 per car per month. I immediately went back through the line and told them this was deceptive, and I want a refund. They said I'd have to call a customer service number on Monday, that they could not do refunds (not true-they just wouldn't). So I called Monday - NO REFUNDS... Well I canceled and it cost me $9.99 plus $4.99 to learn a lesson. They are very deceptive - don't go - THEY ARE NOT GIVING YOU THE CORRECT INFO. To make matters worse, the vehicle was not cleaned properly - many missed spots.

Car not clean, won't rewash

Bad Company. Got a car wash and when the water dried, I noticed the car was still filthy. Took it back an hour later and asked for a rewash. They refused and wouldn't even look at the dirt. They suggested I buy another more expensive wash. Manager was a smooth-talking snake.

Beware

I would give this establishment a zero if possible. An object hit my daughter’s windshield as she was going through the wash after being instructed to follow immediately behind the vehicle in front of her. She watched her windshield start cracking after she heard the pop and immediately went to speak to a manager, who was not available. We filed an incident report and Quick Quack has refused to accept any responsibility basically calling us liars. We asked to see video footage, which would demonstrate that her windshield was perfect upon entering the car wash and cracked upon exiting, but they have failed to do so. Instead we were told we should take it up with the car driver in front of her in the car wash - who had absolutely no control over how quickly the next person was told to enter behind them - which indicates negligence on the part of the car wash, not the drivers. Check out the Better Business Bureau reviews for Quick Quack.

Hello Amee- we apologize for any frustration you and your daughter have experienced. Our store leader and regional leader have been in communication with and provided all the footage requested. Nothing came into contact with your daughter's windshield during the wash to cause this incident. This damage was caused by a rock chip at the edge of the windshield that formed into a crack during the wash.

Our carwash washes several hundred cars every day without damage. A windshield will only crack if it is hit during a malfunction, or it has a rock chip, pit, or weak point. The crack will travel through this weak point when the windshield experiences a temperature difference. There was no malfunction during the wash, and nothing came into contact with your windshield to cause this crack meaning this was caused due to a weak point in your windshield.

Pits are caused by debris such as rocks, pebbles, sand, and other foreign matter kicked up by vehicles in front of you. The pit damage that occurs often is not directly visible from the driver's seat because it is near the edge of the windshield or near the passenger's side. This pit usually penetrates only the exterior pane of glass. If this damage is not repaired, it can spread into a crack. The time between initial impact and a large crack can sometimes be as little as one day to as long as several months. Day-to-day driving can increase the stress around the pit hole.

However, the majority of these cracks are caused by temperature extremes, such as washing a vehicle with a stressed point on a hot day. We are truly sorry for the experience you had here. Please note, though, that we can't be responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions. We hope that you give us an opportunity to earn back your business.
