I love this app
I love this app! It’s made obtaining merch for niche franchises I love SO much easier. I spend hours searching for things that we normally wouldn’t get the chance to see at cons/local shops! The one headache right now is shipping since options are limited for the US, but that doesn’t stop me.. shipping hardly ever takes long for it to reach its destination!

Proxy servers are good, but..
I live in a country where finding authentic Japanese products or niche items is considered a luxury. Thankfully, I have the privilege to access some of these products, but they’re often very, very expensive when bought locally.
When I wanted to find something that was especially hard to obtain, I came across Doorzo through an ad and decided to give it a try. At first, I was really nervous because I had already done my research and knew that Doorzo is very different from platforms like Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop. It’s not the same kind of experience at all, but despite that, I decided to take the risk and purchase two products.
It did take a while, but eventually, my order arrived. Honestly, I don’t think the products themselves are what make it expensive. I think it’s genuinely the shipping costs. You’re not just paying for international shipping, but also for the local courier fees once the package arrives in the Philippines.
Another thing I noticed is that international deliveries work very differently. With platforms like Shopee or Lazada, deliveries usually arrive around 3 to 4 PM. With Doorzo, my package arrived at 6 PM, which really surprised me since it was already nighttime.
If I had to mention a con, it would be the tracking updates once the package reaches the Philippines. I used Japan Post EMS, which does provide proper updates while the package is in Japan. However, once it arrives locally, the tracking simply shows that it’s at the post office. You’re not notified that it’s actually out for delivery that day or the next. That part was definitely confusing and unexpected. Another thing, you are not notified by Doorzo or the local courier that you have to pay for the local fees. So that's another L on both sides.
That said, I can’t really blame Doorzo or Japan Post EMS for this. There are other shipping options available, and this is more of a local courier issue than a Doorzo problem.
Overall, I genuinely loved my experience. Doorzo fulfilled exactly what I was hoping for, and in the end, what matters most to me is that my products arrived safely and in good condition, which they did. Because of that, I’d easily give Doorzo a 5-star rating.

Easy to use, reliable and very generous with coupons! Most of these items were won through bids which is still easy and reliable to use! The extra services like extra bubble wrap do protect items has always been good and the warehouse team is very generous with the amount of bubble wrap they use.
