I hesitated about buying a mat as I am new to jump rope and it felt like a big outlay at the beginning. I did a couple of sessions before unpacking the mat and it makes a huge difference. Not only can I feel less stress on my shins but having a smooth surface under your feet (I’m jumping on my driveway) makes the rope turn more easily (I have the soft beaded rope) making it easier to get into a rhythm. Really pleased I got it.

I bought a ‘dope rope’ for my mum for Mothering Sunday. She loved it!! She really liked its colour (I bought her the turquoise one) and the fact you could shorten it to your own specifications. How to look after the rope and shorten it is explained clearly on the dope rope website, with short video clips, which is another useful touch. Delivery was also fast!!

Amazing rope! I hadn’t jumped since elementary school but the beaded rope really helped me to remember the tricks and was easy to navigate. Love the colors too! And the guides that they have prepared online. THANK YOU DOPE ROPES!!!

Years ago I had jump roped for a year without any proper equipment, on concrete in my back garden and it was difficult and didn't want to go back, constantly got shin splints or I would get them after my workout if i tried to go anywhere. I bought the standard size of the Elite SRS Jump Rope Mat. This mat saves my workout everytime as its strong, not so thick that you don't find your footing but thick enough to support all your movement and tricks and doesn't get in the way of all your movements, and easy to store (I just roll it up and use luggage clips to keep it together). It makes me want to keep skipping and allows me to skip anywhere. Ive always had problems with my feet and knees after a while even with proper form while jumping but this mat just showed I needed some proper support to cushion the impact!

Bought both a beaded rope and the training Mat from Dope Ropes and my skipping experience has completely changed. Used to break a rope every few months skipping on the patio in the garden but now my rope is in perfect nick and the landing surface is also perfect!

After seeing Lauren on insta I decided to buy a jump rope and give it a go.

Exercising can be hardwork but this makes it so fun with just having some music on and skipping.

It's such a workout and I feel great after doing it. It's now part of my weekly routine and I love it.

I absolutely love my signature beaded rope. Took me a day or so to get used to it but I’ve never looked back. It’s helped me, a complete beginner, unlock so many tricks - crossovers, EB, Toads as well as some fancy footwork. Rope also arrived within a day of ordering. What’s not to love?
