The unexpected wins of owning a Doppio
We wanted to get a Doppio bike when we first saw there could be two people riding on it compare to a lot of other e-bikes. When we have visitors from abroad or other cities, this is a safer way for us to bring them along in Amsterdam. The freedom of being able to bring the Doppio on the metro means we can reach further than with a scooter.
We work late on the completely opposite side of the city and riding home with Doppio instead of our normal bikes, have turned those long rainy night-rides into moments of meaningful conversations as we cuddle up and reflect while riding home in the dark. Who knew riding on one bike with less effort could change the mood so drastically?
When we met the super friendly owner of Doppio we felt seen as customers and to receive the brand new bike under a shiny red fabric felt so special! Even our first service appointment was great with friendly staff and free coffee.

I fell in love on the first ride
I fell in love on the first ride. Doppio bikes are everything and more. The seat is comfortable and i like the fact that people always wonder : “is this a bike”? 😲. The service is great and very friendly. You can tell they put your comfort first in selecting the right items for your bike. I definitely recommend to do a test ride first and after that it’s all fun and bike rides FOR TWO.

Great Bike
I have de doppio for two years now and it is a great bike.
I love riding it.
It’s easy to ride it in Amsterdam because you don’t get stuck in traffic.

doppio is simply the best ride in town!
The benefits of an e-bike, the luxury of having a full flash two-seater (the only real one in the market according to my knowledge) and damn cool looking too :-). Combine this with the fact that the doppio team genuinely wanting to give you the best experience, and you get great value for every euro you spend.

The Doppio bike is a great bike
The Doppio bike is a great bike. We love it. We don’t have a car in Amsterdam, it’s very easy to go shopping, go to work or during free time. You can easily ride with two persons on one bike! A lot of people look at the bike or ask questions about it because of the great looks. An Improvement would be that you can load the battery with the battery still in the bike and a normal light switch, now I forget how to turn it on. Yes, it turns in automatically, but sometimes you just want to put in on with bad weather in the winter. One last improvement would be to have suspension on the bike. But already as it is now, it is a great bike, premium service, no issues.
