I ordered 2 bags and immediately received a tracking number. This was a few days ago and since then heard nothing. The tracking system does not work and the telephone number on their website is not working. I have emailed and so far no response. I intend to claim a refund and take action if I do not hear from them within 24 hours. Extremely and will pursue them.

I'm afraid I fell for this scam. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. The bags are not leather as advertised and they will be going in the bin as the zips don't work, the lining doesn't fit the bag properly, the stitching is coming undone and they look cheap and nasty. It is appalling and they should not be allowed to advertise.
I'm a pensioner and thought I was buying good quality leather bags at reduced prices.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Lesson learnt and a 100 pounds down the drain.

Absolutely worthless plastic. look cheap, smell cheap and the tricks they pull to get you hooked in They should be utterly ashamed of themselves. I threw mine in the bin after a. couple of minutes. I doubt a charity shop would be interested! Anyone on here who has put a good review have only reviewed once.??? . PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! 🙏 ps. If anyone has put a good review they know nothing about quality or trading standards. Its not their fault, it's the sneaky unlawful advertising of these bags.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. This company is a complete scam. Please do not be fooled by their website. The bag which I received was a cheap plastic one and the return policy a complete joke. They promise to settle any dissatisfaction with an easy 30 day return policy, then say that you need to return the product to China, at your own expense. They strongly imply that the bags are handmade leather of the best quality, made here. Their website give an address in Camden Town, London but this does not exist. They offer a discount if you keep the plastic bag, of 10%. I too wish that I had read the comments on Trustpilot before placing an order with them. I will take up the matter with my credit card company.

The bag is rubbish. It is not black or smooth leather. I am sure it does not fit the trade description and I'm still trying to work out how to send it back' I only wish I'd read the reviews first.

I bought several items from this company and still has not received it after 7 weeks!!

They are based in Hong Kong and not Camden (uk) as implied on their website

The mobile phone provided is a ruse

And they decline giving a refund despite several emails!!!! I believe this is a scam!

I saw online Dorothy Bags advertising very "good quality leather" bags at closing down discounted prices. I subsequently ordered four handbags and on receiving them this week I was astounded at the absolute rubbish I had been sent. The bags were made of poor quality pvc with the zips on the front of three of the bags actually not working, in fact you could probably have bought these 4 bags at a local market for £30.00 at the most for all of them. I foolishly paid £133.00 for these bags as Christmas presents for my family but in all honesty I wouldn't donate them to my local charity shop it would be insulting. This is a scam of the worst kind and this company should be reported to trading standards as they are thieves and liars. Whatever you do DO NOT engage with these scammers they are dregs of humanity.

Apsoloutly awful quality. The whole website is AI generated including the customer reviews and the product images. Claims of free returns and no questions asked are complete crap. That bag is full plastic and stinks. Best off buying from Temu

I give this so called Dorothy Bags company rating of 1 if I could it would be -5 at least. Poor quality & definitely not leather or a British based company. Cheap Chinese import. As for trying to return purchase & get a refund it's laughable. Wish I had never seen the advert. MY ADVISE DO NOT PURCHASE.

Disappointed doesnt begin to express how i feel about the quality of this bag. Appalled is more like it. I fell for the "I'm retiring" sob story and ordered one of these bags, seeing the ad in a page i thought to be reliable (GMA Deals and Steals.) They were not advertising it - just the ad showed up in that page. Bag is made of cheap pleather and is super light. The zipper is broken. The lining inside wouldnt last a full wear. This honestly feels like a little girl's cheap dress up purse. Anyways, steer clear. This is a scam. I paid $60 for something i could probably get for under $10 at Walmart.

I have never received my blue cross over body bag it was left by my front door when I was in hospital and Dorothy bags are not interested Don’t buy from them they are not Leather as advertised they come from CHINA

This is a fake website. It is a Chinese site, cheap bags made and shipped from china. Not made in the UK.
Bags were awful, better on temp for a quarter of the price.
Tried to return but impossible, return button does not open.
It’s a learning experience.

I got scammed, received a bag but nothing like it was shown, I requested a new credit card as soon as I read some of the reviews just in case they used it again without my knowledge. I think they are coming from a company like Shein as they have the exact bags for sale, the one I purchased they are selling for just under £16.00. Stay away from them I got caught and I would not like anyone else to be in the same boat.

I have seen this company advertising leather handbags today ... using the exact same wording and photos that were used for an ad for a 'jeweller' also supposed to be closing down. How bizarre and suspicious!

In other words, they use the same ad template to tell us a cosy, totally fictional tale and they use the same images for each ad. Then they pretend it is real. This is called fraud, trying to make customers believe a story which is not true.

The women shown in the last ad were supposedly master jewellers, and they oddly had word for word the very same experiences as these leather sellers! As a literary editor, I remember this stuff in fine detail.

The supposed "workshop that burned down" was a jewellers in the last ad that ran, and the bags in these images have simply replaced the jewellery in the same images on the last ad! AI, obviously.

This is absolutely fraudulent. Disgusting.

This company is based in China. The bags are NOT leather, NOT handcrafted and NOT made in a workshop in London. This is misrepresentation and miselling. Do not be fooled by this company’s false advertising.

I want to return a bag but I can’t get any response. I’ve been touch 4 times but still waiting for the form to return bag. Don’t bother

Keep clear of this site, and tell all friends and family to do so too.

website indicates a UK based manufacturer, supplying a high quality product. In reality the product is of a very low standard manufactured in China. We feel scammed.
