Fantastic Customer Service Always
Every time I deal with Dragon Image they always provide excellent customer service and give that little extra touch that keeps bringing me back.
I called this morning and spoke to James to confirm my online order was still scheudled for delivery today. There seemed to have been a hiccup and it was scheduled for tomorrow. James was great, he quickly put my on hold to see what could be done and came back to say that he would organise the order to come today.
In addition, when the order arrived the blue velvet backdrop purchased had already been attached and wound to the metal rods which cut down my installation time. Not to mention the clamps had been screwed to the mounting brackets as well - fantastic!

Green screen - really good!
I couldn't believe how quickly this arrived. I ordered it one evening and it arrived the next morning! It's much better quality than my previous green screen. I'm super happy with the service and the product.
Oh one more good thing. The lady from Dragonimage actually rang me to check that I had ordered the right size before she gave it to the courier.
No communication & damaged goods
On the 29th December, 2016, I purchased two LightPro Seamless Background Materials, one in black and one in white. I received no email from them confirming my order. I thought that maybe they weren't responding because it says on their website they return from the holidays on the 9th, so i waited until then but still nothing. I thought maybe i wrote down my email wrong as I signed out as a guest user, which means i couldn't check if it was correct, but figured that because my bank had sent me an email confirming payment of my order that I should just wait a bit longer for it to come. Two days later, I get an email from Dragon Image about reviewing them, and I was like "so i did give you the right email address!... Where's my invoice/confirming email?
About 3 days later it arrived and I was not impressed. The 3 metre long background roll came creased and folded due to not having a supporting roll in the middle and wasn't treated very well. It was also not packaged well with thin, see-through plastic covering it and taped at intervals, meaning some of it opened up and was exposed. The black one, the plastic was entirely off a 5th of it. Part of that has to do with the road freight company, but i feel that even a cardboard roll down the middle and more adequate packaging methods been used, it would have arrived in a much more sound conditions. This is my first time buying a background, but I don't think this was the condition it was meant to arrive in. Now there are all obvious creases and folds. The best bits are the ends that didn't buckle with handling.

Poor delivery service.
Use of unprofessional courier (Fastway!). Driver left without ringing the bell, and there is no reply at the phone number given so I might retrieve my purchase.
Service Review
Although delivery was prompt, the item was delivered to the wrong address. I was also promised a call back after enquiring as to the delivery time frame and cost. No call back or confirmation was actioned, which was a little disappointing as the item was needed quite urgently.
Despite of this, I managed to retrieve the product from the wrong address (delivered to 220 not 2/200), and am happy with the product.
Best price, excellent shipping
I found Dragonimage while searching for some Rode gear. Their prices were the best I could find in Australia from an established retailer.
The package arrived within 2 days, well protected by foam and in good working condition. Will definitely shop there again.
A great customer care experience
My order was tiny, a single linear metre of green chroma material needed for a specific project.
I was not expecting the call from Dragon Image later that day asking if I was quite sure that I knew I was going to receive material for a long skinny green screen (3X1m) . The caller was worried that I would be disappointed if I was expecting something, well, bigger. The fact that they took the time to confirm a strange looking request rather than just take the money and ship it speaks volumes.

TBH, a simple transaction turned into a 25mins nagging session.
My purchase had been completed online for in-store pick up,
And my a previous online purchase's exchange had already been approved via email (due to it not looking as it did online),
yet I was made to stand in store for nearly half an hour and listen to the reasons why this wasn't great for the store.
I couldn't even be bothered mentioning that the product I had purchased was $146 and I was exchanging it for a $110 product...

A wide range of products and helpful staff
Dragon Image know their stuff. I visit and buy from both their physical and online store - always helpful, knowledgeable and can sometimes throw in a free storage bag and sharpen the pencil on prices. My only gripe is one single flat $25 postage fee - even if the item is tiny.

Great In Store Service
Patrick and James are always happy to help out and find a solution that works for me. its not always about selling a product but finding me a solution.
Not an amazing experience
The flow of communication with my order was not the best experience. There were no automated emails to let me know when my order was ready for collection at their store. When I went to collect the order it was not ready even though they had said it was ready after I had contacted the store. When the order was finally send they still did not have the correct item. They did however give me a loan item to cover me in the short term.. This was a good service recovery. Overall not the smoothest transaction. Room for improvement.
