Quick follow up to my request on the website on a Sunday evening. Turned up the next day in the time window they said they would and fixed our drain for a reasonable price. Friendly and professional. I'd use them again.

The engineer was meant to unblock our bathroom soil pipe. But made some excuse about lime scale in the toilet and water damage to the downstairs toilet ceiling. Then he left the property after saying he would give us an quote to replace the toilet and sort out the pipes.

The guy who came was incredible. He was so kind and I didn't feel pressured at all to have the job done by them and offered me time to make phone calls and said he could come back another day if I wanted to get more quotes. As a woman living on my own this was so reassuring and it made me confident going with him. He got the job done so fast and he cleaned up. He gave me advise when I asked and was so incredibly kind. They had to come back twice but now the vent pipe is properly and securely installed. I believe it will provide a long terms solution to the problem at the property.

I cannot recommend drain doctor enough. Highly professional, ethical and fairly priced. The work was completed diligently and was customer focused. The engineer was skilled and took pride in his work. After two days of complicated and intense work everything was made good and you wouldn't know anything had been done. Except for the collapsed and cracked sewage pipe was repaired and replaced. Thank you Kirk and thank you Drain Doctor

What a great and efficient experience!
About 10 mins after I asked for a visit (for the next day) I got a call from the company to say that they had availability for that day which was really appreciated.
I stuck with the next day and Joe called me 20mins before attending the property. He explained everything he was going to do, got the job up and ready after agreement of the price. He flushed out the blocked drain and did an investigation. Took him about 10 mins to find what was wrong. He then explained the fix that he could do, have me another quote. He checked with the office to see if he could do it today, and got on with the job when he got the go ahead. All done and so quick, I couldn't believe it! Joe was so polite and he was a breath of fresh air. Really appreciate everything and I will be recommending Drain Doctor to everyone!

Kevin arrived on time, with the promised telephone call first to say he was on his way. He explained what services he could offer to try & find the cause of our issue (drain smell) and also gave us the price for one hours worth of investigation. He listened carefully to our experience of the issue and was very thorough & soon found the root cause of one problem. Despite his best efforts the cause of the second problem remains a mystery but we will try & treat the drain with something like BioFlow to eliminate the smell.

Super helpful, knew what the issue was straight away. Seemed nice and friendly and got the job done while I could carry on with work.

If I could give zero star I would!

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

They attended to investigate a blocked toilet issue and concluded there was a blockage further downstream based purely on assumption (standing water in the manhole). No actual blockage was identified or cleared during their visit.

I then had United Utilities and an independent drainage company inspect the system with cameras. Both confirmed there was no downstream blockage. The real issue was a blockage in the toilet soil pipe within the property boundary, which was quickly identified and resolved by another contractor.

So in simple terms:
They diagnosed the wrong problem, they failed to locate or fix the actual issue, their conclusion was proven incorrect by multiple sources. Despite this, they continue to stand by their original assumption rather than acknowledge the error.

I appreciate that drainage issues can be complex, but presenting an unconfirmed assumption as fact led to unnecessary delay and additional cost.

Based on this experience, I would advise others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with any further work.

They will respond to this asking me to send them and email, which I had before this review but got sarcastic emails which summarise to “it’s your problem now”

Great service and contact from all concerned. Only blip was they turned up early, but not a problem as I had a phone call and was able to leave work for an hour.

Resolved a really tricky problem with 2 blocked loos at the rear of the house.
Rob who attended was professional and knowledgeable, and explained what work was needed to be done to resolve our blocked toilets. He gave a quote that outlined the worst case scenario and arranged a quick booking. The work was completed successfully and I was updated through the day on what was found and what had been done.
