Find a local first!!!

Called these guys out to help unblock a drain. Both guys that turned up were really nice - can't fault their professionalism or friendliness, BUT, they were unable to clear the blockage, blaming a collapsed pipe and said they couldn't check the main sewer because the manhole was alarmed - advised us to call the water board.

Waterboard came out and when i told them the above they laughed - no manhole covers are alarmed! So perhaps the engineers that came out thought so or just couldn't be bothered with the job???

Turns out there was a junction at the bottom of my garden which the first engineers didn't locate - which is where the blockage was. Called out a local company who managed to clear the blockage, carry out a CCTV inspection and tidy up after for HALF the price I paid Drain Response to basically 'have a go'.

I wish I had done more research before contacting - defo advise you all to find a local company first - it'll be cheaper and better. Drain Response pricing is very dodgy - extra charges for using equipment (priced by every half hour!). Clearly just a way to inflate the prices and get more out of a simple job.

Glen and Bob were polite, professional and efficient. They quickly identified the location of the blockage from our toilet and unblocked it. Glen was also able to reconnect the pipework behind the loo, despite having to work in a confined space. Great job all round!

Excellent service from Josh and the team, resolving the blockage and ensuring the pipe is fully clear.

Glen and Bob were great - turned up, put the camera down and showed me all of the drain runs, discovered no issues that need future work, perfect before we lay a new patio! Thanks chaps

Josh was super efficient, explaining the work to be undertaken very fully and clearly. He identified the approach to solve the problem immediately.

We had roots blocking a drain pipe. Josh came and cleared the blockage, then returned with Wayne to mill and install a sleeve.
Really nice guys, very polite, happy to run us through what they were doing, and tidy in their work. Even checked on our neighbours pipe as a courtesy.
I can’t fault them. Great job!

After our bathroom plugholes suddenly started theatrically spouting water and toilets were loudly bubbling, a worried call to Drain Response (known as Bristol Drains via Google) seems to have fixed the issue. Bailey was very friendly and reassuring on the phone, Finn arrived to do the work. 30 mins diagnosed the problem and (seems to have) sorted it. Fingers crossed that's it done!

Pricing was clearly explained up front, and I appreciated the courtesy call to give me an ETA and talk through the issue ahead of time.

I hope we won't need your services again, but I won't hesitate to recommend to anyone who does.

Fin came and assessed the situation calmly and carefully. He gave me the expected cost and explained the process. Fin worked quickly and cleanly and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Glen and Connor arrived promptly and identified the problem quickly. They were both professional and friendly in clearing the blockage, which was due to a build up of lard/fat, over a number of years.

The engineers arrived promptly and were friendly and professional. I was pleased with the job they did, however i can only give 2 stars due to the extortionate prices. I was charged £237 just for the use of a jet wash and vac!! That along with labour i was charged £554. I noticed that there was a 15% discount on the website and when i questioned this they said it was included in the final price - meaning the total should have been £637!! I would expect around £300 but over double seems a rip off!! The engineers are very good but i would urge anyone to get more quotes before booking this company..

Would recommend them for blocked drains. This was a serious blockage well below the sink level.

We had a blockage in our cafe toilet, called drain response who after working on said it was fixed. Charged us almost £500 for under 2 hours of work and then it was blocked again the very next day. I called to try and speak to someone and was told they would get back to me. I never heard back from them even though they said my case had been passed to the manager. My manager managed to unblock the toilet 2 days after drain response visited with our new £15 plunger and pulled out the plastic inside casing of a toilet brush which was the cause of the blockages. I've tried multiple times to contact drain response via call and email and have not had any response except to say they'll get back to me which they never do. Why did we pay so much for a camera to be stuck down there and the problem not resolved by them and all their tools? We managed to fix it with a cheap plunger. Very disappointing service.

Josh is amazing and his colleague Wayne i think his name was.we got off to a great start then some sh#t times where other bits went wrong and me the customer got her hair in a twist but even after it all I cant fault josh hes amazing and so freindly they have there work cut out and go above and beyond infact prob the best people ive ever had in my house
