I paid for orthodontic treatment expecting a safe, professional service. Instead, during the process (around tray 8), I started experiencing serious issues: jaw pain, difficulty sleeping due to airway restriction, my bite no longer fitting properly, and a noticeable loss of space for my tongue.
I reported these problems immediately and followed all instructions given. Despite this, the handling of my case was extremely poor:
Long delays in communication (often over two weeks)
Calls not returned and lack of follow-up
Being asked to pay for services already included in my plan
A revised plan that would have worsened my condition, with an additional $1,200 requested
After raising a formal complaint, instead of addressing the root problem, they kept my case “under review” for weeks and then offered a simplified refinement plan that does not address the functional issues I reported. At no point was a proper resolution, accountability, or refund offered.
This has impacted not just my treatment outcome, but also my health and trust in the process. I have now had to escalate the matter further.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this provider. The level of care, communication, and responsibility shown has been far below what should be expected for a medical service.
Scammers
This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing healthcare-related experiences I’ve ever had. At the very beginning, I was pushed to leave a review in exchange for a discount, before the treatment was even underway. That should have been my warning sign. Once they got the review, the service and accountability completely deteriorated.
The quality of the work is unacceptable. My aligners are not complete, and my teeth are still not aligned or straight, despite what was clearly outlined in the initial treatment plan. The end result is nowhere near what was promised. I followed the process, wore the aligners as instructed, and trusted the plan they gave me — and they failed to deliver on their end.
Communication was an absolute nightmare. Every attempt to get help felt like talking to a wall. Responses were slow, generic, and scripted, as if I was dealing with bots instead of real people who actually cared about the outcome of my treatment. Questions were ignored or answered with copy-and-paste replies that didn’t address the issue at all. There was no real support, no sense of urgency, and zero empathy for the fact that this involves someone’s teeth and long-term oral health.
When I raised concerns about my results not matching the treatment plan, I was met with deflection instead of solutions. No clear explanations, no ownership of mistakes, and no meaningful effort to fix the problem. It felt like once the payment was made, I was completely on my own.
This company seems far more focused on marketing, collecting positive reviews early, and automating customer service than actually delivering quality orthodontic care. If you’re considering this service, be aware that you may be left with unfinished treatment, wasted time, and the added expense of having to correct their mistakes elsewhere.
I regret trusting them with something as important as my smile. Learn from my experience and think very carefully before choosing this company.

Worst company
This is the worst company I have worked for. I am a former employee in the Philippines, and they failed to release my final pay and 13th month pay simply because I resigned. Several of my former colleagues experienced the same treatment. If a company cannot value its employees, how can it genuinely value its patients? The HR named Janice take things so personal 🤣
Don’t trust the management, they are all unprofessional. Save your time and be with a company with integrity and compassion to their patients.

absolutely couldn't give a sht after taking your money. they have stuffed all sorts of things up and completely ignore any concerns raised. have followed up multiple times about a particular issue and haven't heard back. they provide the most extraordinarily abysmal and unprofessional service, if any at all. there are many other aligner providers - this is not the one to go with.
UPDATE: finally I have been contacted about my concerns months later. they "acknowledge my disappointment" but do not even apologise for the significant loss and inconvenience they caused. management are completely heartless and only care about money - theirs not yours.
Avoid Dr Clear aligner.
Please, at all cost avoid Dr Clear aligners, so terrible and in effective treatment. They will mess up your teeth with no apology. They will not complete your treatment even though you complain that your teeth is not aligning. They take their words back. I was told from the initial treatment that I will be giving retainers after my treatment, I ask Mary who was the one communicating to me through EMAIL, she said I will have to pay close £200 if I want to get retainers for my teeth. All explanation fell on her deaf ear that this was included in the package I paid for, she was insisting I will have to pay the said amount. I told her i ask the
staff attending to me by the name (Rayhana) and she said the price of the retainer is already included in my package, I screenshot our WhatsApp chat to her, she said to me the staff is no longer with them, how does that got to do with our initial agreement.
I insisted to Mary if I could talk to any member of the team or the manager, she blocked all the chances to talk to any.
Now my gap teeth did not closed up as regards 100 percent assurance given to me and is also going back to its initial position without any retainer
to retain the position.
They will ride your agreement with no feelings.
PLEASE AVOID DR CLEAR ALIGNERS AT ALL COST. My 2cent.

The predicted results were not achieved in the first round(20/20).
I am now on the 5th out of 8 refinement sets.
I’ve noticed that the gaps created during the IPR sessions are not closing properly, but I’ll provide another update after completing the 8th set. Please note, if the gaps created by IPR are not corrected through the refinement sets, it could become a serious issue for me.
I also paid for two IPR sessions, but the second one was not actually performed. I was told it was only to ensure the gaps remained, but if it was just for verification purposes, this could have been handled differently rather than charging for a full IPR session.

This review marks my 8th aligner out of a total of 20 sets.
The process started with a 3D scan, which went well, and Loana provided all the necessary information.
I have two IPR sessions planned. The first was completed before starting the first aligner (the dentist recommended cleaning and fixing cavities before the IPR). I am currently waiting for my second IPR.
Whenever I have questions, I connect with Loana (Orthodontist). She is responsive, and the monitoring is done through the mobile app by uploading photos.
I believe the treatment is going well, promising a positive final result.
I will update my review with the final results once I complete all 20 aligners.

A simple gap to be closed between two teeth took one treatment plan and 4 refinements! It's been almost one year, I am still waiting for the next plan to be designed because they have pushed many other teeth alignment off without actually addressing the issue (original plan was 2.5 months, 7 sets only). Many issues came out in the refinement treatments including communication on follow ups, and quality control on their aligners before sending.
Frustrating and painful. Strongly advise against unless you are open to take such risks.
I was previously with zenyum and had to fix the tooth rotation issue - that's why I signed with DCA.
