Dreame L40 Ultra - Save Your Money

Dreame L40 Ultra stopped working after a couple weeks - seems to be a mechanical problem in the unit itself. Shame to have to make a return on this very expensive machine so soon. Save your money, buy from another more reputable brand.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a…

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a product AND a customer service team.
I ordered a brand-new Dreame L10 Ultra Gen2 and paid full price for a new device — but the first unit they sent me was clearly used, opened, and full of dust inside. After that, the replacement process took forever, and every response I received from customer service was just copy-paste with zero accountability.
Then came the real shock:
The second replacement arrived in horrible condition — the box was torn, soaked, and the product itself was wet from the water that had leaked inside the packaging.
And what was their solution?
They told me I had to ship it back, wait for it to reach their warehouse, then wait again for them to “inspect it,” and only after that they might send me another one. This entire time, I have already paid for a new vacuum and received NOTHING but damaged and used units.
This level of service is unacceptable.
Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they put all the burden and waiting time on the customer. I’ve wasted time, money, and patience — and all I got were repeated automated messages and more delays.
Absolutely terrible experience.
I do NOT recommend buying from them, and I will share my full experience and photos everywhere so people know what to expect before ordering.

Despicable service, incompetent delivery and zero fcuks given

I am absolutely furious with Dreame. What I have been put through is beyond unacceptable.

I bought a Dreame H12 Pro specifically because I am disabled and cannot push a mop and drag the bucket around. This machine was purchased specifically to alleviate pain and help me maintain my floors. Instead, I’ve been left without a working floor cleaner for almost a month because of their terrible support.

The clean-water tank started leaking, so I contacted support on 17.10.25. Kareem told me a replacement tank was on the way (Ticket #83281678). It never arrived.

I contacted them again ten days later to say nothing arrived. Sarah said the first parcel was “lost in transit” and promised a second replacement (Ticket #83303450). That one also never arrived.

Today, after calling for the third time, I was told the second replacement wasn’t even coming because the request for the replacement was sent to the wrong place??!!
Now they want to reorder the part AGAIN. *&%$£!

Meanwhile, I haven’t been able to clean my floors for three weeks. With my disability, mopping manually is extremely painful — that’s the entire reason I bought this machine in the first place. By the time the new “promised” part arrives, it will be a full month of living without the machine I paid £250 FOR because they can’t competently ship a simple tank.
What makes this even more insulting is that if I ordered a brand-new machine today, they can deliver it next working day, free of charge.
But when it comes to honouring their warranty and helping an existing customer — especially one who relies on their product for accessibility — they have completely failed.
Yet another ticket has been created (83318392) although Amma was very kind she said the manager was not at work today and she could not do anything other than reorder another part but she did say she has escalated my frustration to another department to expedite shipping, they will contact me back within 24 hours she said (fingers crossed she's being truthful this time)

This experience has been exhausting, stressful, and honestly, downright disrespectful. I regret ever buying from this company, and I would strongly warn others to think twice before doing the same. The service is despicable and dismissive.

From the reviews I wish in hindsight I would have visited this site before making such a high value purchase !!
So incredibly upset and genuinely emotional about the unprofessionalism of this company, no complaints process, no managers on shift no escalation team, no accountability anywhere. What the hell is going on I have spent serious money on a machine that is not fit for purpose and has stood still for nearly a month!!!
I feel discriminated and ignored...

It has been 7 days since I lodged this…

It has been 7 days since I lodged this complaint and the device hasnt been picked up for repair. Here is what has happened since then.

1. Friday 24 October 530pm I called your customer care to lodge complaint. They shared Ghaziabad repair centre number with me and asked me to Whatsapp the device invoice, imei number and my pick up address to them to arrange collection.

2. Friday 24 October before 6pm I shared all requisite details over the whatsapp number and got a bot response about working hours. No acknowledgment of complaint.

3. Saturday 25 October late afternoon I called customer care again as there had been no further response from them.

4. A few hours after that I got the email acknowledgment of complaint. This complaint noted complaint origination date wrongly as 25 October (instead of 24 October) and stated that the pick up would be done in 48 to 72 hours. This is after already wasting 24 hours since my complaint.

5. Nearly 72 hours after this I suddenly get a call from a random number around 11am that they can get the pick up done in half hour or whenever I want to. Obviously because I am not sitting around waiting for this pick up at my address for days on end, I confirm 1pm as the preferred time for pick up and this person says ok I will check with you at 1pm

6. At 1pm - nothing. I call back on the same number at 1pm. Then again at 2pm. Then again at 3pm. Noone receives. Then I call customer care again informing them of what has happened so far.

7. The customer care agent says "I will ensure your device is picked up" without any formal qcknowledgment of delay or pick up ETA. This was on 28 October.

8. Today is 30 October. There is no progress in the matter. Despite speaking to your customer care 4 times.

9. This is a new device because of the faultiness of which my home is not getting cleaned.

10. No reply to the third email request and I call customer care again today on 31 October. She is unaware of the problem. She asks me to email (haha because obviously they dont check whats already sent) and then says while I cant confirm over email I will get pick up done as soon as "possible".
Really regretting spending my gard earned money on this stupid company

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE RECOVERY! Item ordered on 14 October 2025. Till 30 October 2025 just keep telling me to wait cause delivery company didn’t response ? Is it my fault or problem tbh I’ve been patience all along. But all I get is wait. So probably till next year I won’t get it?

Dreame makes great vacuums but there customer support is bad

Dreame makes great vacuums but there support is terrible. My dreame GoVac 400 had an issue where the washboard would not drain. I contacted support and told them I got it from Costco and they did not even help one bit not even tips just said indirectly it’s Costco’s problem. Ended up fixing it myself. Your better off fixing it your self and learning everything about it because there customer support won’t tell you anything but copy and paste AI detected text messages.

Defective product and horrendous…

Defective product and horrendous constumer support. After a long and tiresome case involving defective vacuum, Dreame refuses to make any sort of compensatory moves. Sure they refunded me after they determined the product couldn’t be fixed, but never asked if I wanted a replacement, and when I ask if we can work something out where I get an upgrade based on my unfortunate experience, they simply say that it’s not possible. So now I can buy the same vacuum as before, for a higher price, because of course it’s not on sale anymore. Just terrible service. Oh and there is not a single phone number that you can call.
Don’t buy from them. Not worth it.

Zero after-sales support.


Zero after-sales support.
My vacuum cleaner broke down. It's been a month of trying to get it fixed. The service center number never connects, and support tickets are ignored. Dreame India has the most pathetic customer service I have ever experienced. A complete waste of money.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. You cannot speak to anyone in person, they claim the service line is unavailable. You can leave a message which will never be responded to. If the robot breaks, good luck ! They will make it extremely difficult to repair/follow their warranty process, ignore your emails or respond with a computer generated response. I would never purchase from Dreame again.

Faulty & expensive robot

Bought a robot hoover & mop worth £800. Worked for the first clean (well, annoyingly) but then as of 3rd clean had constant issues with it, mainly centred around Wifi- it would stay disconnected from WiFi around 80% of the time but then at night would always choose to randomly connect & turn on, waking us all up. Basically became a router expert trying all kinds of things like turning off 5g splitting it out etc etc, nothing worked. Absolutely rubbish. Any contact with customer service had weird spelling / grammar errors, not very professional. It's such a shame as when it worked it was brilliant. Wish I'd gone with Shark or a more well known brand.

I’m contacting you regarding my ongoing support case 83214858

I’ve already been in touch with the first-level customer service, but unfortunately, the issue hasn’t been resolved after +50 emails

I kindly request that this matter be escalated to a supervisor or senior support representative, so it can be reviewed with proper attention.

I expect a clear and definitive response regarding the next steps or possible product replacement, in accordance with EU warranty regulations. The shipment is never been sent to me

i tried to order a dreame L10s

i tried to order a dreame L10s, which i never received. I interacted with the customer support and never got a satisfactory response. Since I purchased through a third party, i was able to get them involved to process a refund. I am currently seeking another solution as i am concerend about the quality of support from this vendor.
Update: seller is withholding refund until courier investigates missing shipment. Everyone understands I did not receive the item but seller is going to sit on my money for the maximum time allowed by law. Horrible customer service.

L10s Ultra Gen2

L10s Ultra Gen2
Performs well on carpet. Im not able to hoover for 6 weeks. This was one of the only models I could afford that can cope with carpet. It does a better job of restoring the pile than my upright vacuum cleaner. I chose this model over its competitors because of its mapping capabilities and ease of using the app. It has got stuck a couple of times but it’s still learning. The noise levels are not disruptive on standard. We have two dogs and heavy foot traffic through the house but haven’t need to turn up the suction.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I paid a substantial amount of money after accessories and the extended warranty for the top-of-the-line X40 Master vacuum in December of last year. Within 2 months I was emailing customer service about errors and issues. Within 4 months I was shipping it back for repair. By 6 months it was having issues AGAIN and needed to be shipped back. I was pretty upset considering I'm over 30 minutes from the nearest UPS and for what I paid for the vacuum...I shouldn't be experiencing these kinds of issues so quickly. They said they could repair my vacuum again OR they could send me the "upgrade " which was the X50 Ultra. First off, the X50 is not hands off like the X40. The model I paid for auto drained the dirty water into a drain in our laundry room floor. It also auto filled the fresh water from a hose we plumbed. The X40 requires you to manually do all of this. So not exactly an equal trade...plus they only offered to send me a refurbished unit, not new. I accepted this offer because I was afraid the X40 Master would continue having problems and I just wanted a functional vacuum. I sent the X40 back to them and they sent me the X50. I didn't even have the X50 for TWO WEEKS before I am getting error issues. So far...it can't attach the mop pads itself and it has a hard time finding the dock. I reached back out to customer service who said to ship it back to them for repair. So I am expected to continue wasting my time and money to drive into town and ship their faulty machines back to them? I asked if I could just return it for a refund and be done with them. They have refused. They offered me a 50% refund and that is the best they can do...even though I wouldn't be asking for the refund if their products worked as advertised. BEWARE!

Bad customer service. If something is wrong you are on your own

I will try to be as honest and objective as possible not willing to harm the store personnel, but to give a heads up to you, customers as me. I bought 3 X40 robots from the DREAME store in Mall of the Emirates. After using one of them 3 times, the battery depleted and never start working again. I took it to the store 6 days after delivery, and I was outside the country for another 3 days, so in fact 3 days after first use. After inspection, the staff confirmed that the device had an internal energy transfer failure. This issue clearly stems from a manufacturing defect present at the time of purchase. They refused to exchange or refund the item, they only offered repair. I was refused to talk to the manager or write a complaint at the store. This is what you can expect. I did not look at any review of this company and now I am regretting it. Do a little bit of research yourself.

Very bad product

Very bad product. Ultra 10s. They even discontinued it. I bought it two months ago, and it is useless. I spoke with them to replace or upgrade and I will pay the difference, but they said no. This was Dreame in UAE Dubai.
