Worth the Mony
Many people complain about the cost of individual bags or subscriptions. I understand, but the coffee arrives when promised, is fresh, and matches well with my flavor preferences. It is chance to try different coffees and the variety is greater than that available from my local roasters
Amazing service and product
Have been a subscriber of Trade Coffee for three years. They offer freshly roasted coffee from different roasters around the country. If you are a coffee fanatic, I highly recommend it. Also great as a gift.
NEVER giving up this subscription
This is one of my favorite subscriptions. I don't even know how many years I've had it, but it's probably the one I will never give up. I love getting to try new roasters from all over the country and support small businesses. I also really appreciate that you can alter your subscription date/frequency as much as you need to--if I'm running low faster than I thought, I can bump it up, if I'm swimming in coffee, I can delay my next one. AND they send you a reminder email to give you enough time to make changes before your next order goes through--my ADHD appreciates this almost as much as the caffeine.

I have never had a coffee I didn't like, and the selection is huge. They make it very easy to find specific coffees.
Having the coffee roasted just prior to shipping makes a difference in the taste, at least to me.

$66 dollars for 3 10.9 oz bags of meh coffee. We have plenty of local coffees in my city that are half the price and twice the quality. Scammers.
Don’t buy for gift’s
If you’re looking to gift someone, avoid this company. They’ll force them to enter their credit card details to pay for shipping and taxes. It’s highly suspicious that you can’t use the gift credit to cover the shipping costs.
I've used Trade for about 2 years now
I've used Trade for about 2 years now. I've only ever had one issues, the coffee didn't taste right and it was one I'd ordered before, they quickly replaced it. The quiz is helpful to find things you'd like. There's good decaf options. Plus the customer service is fast and friendly.

Even when you've been a customer for 8 YEARS,helped their business grow by referring others! When I cancelled they were just like "OH, SO SORRY YOU CANCELLED". A BIG SLAP IN THE FACE!!
The most wonderful part is now I know all of the roasters and can order WITHOUT TRADE straight to roasters.
Delicious, freshly-roasted coffee from across the US
Purchased a "Pay in Advance" package for six bags of coffee after the holidays. Pricing is right in line with what I'd pay at my local co-op. Coffee was always delivered fresh, and the selections were superb. Love the flexibility of being able to tweak my upcoming deliveries, and really appreciate being able to pre-pay for a number of bags without having to commit to a subscription.
I had a question about my last order so went to the website and opened the chat widget. The AI chat bot was helpful (!) and redirected me after one question to a support rep (!!) who provided an answer promptly and in real-time (!!!).
Extremely happy with the product and service, and will be purchasing some more coffee in the future from Trade.
They need to sort out their delivery problems
Thought I would try out Trade as it seemed like a great way to try a lot of different coffee. I did not sign up for a subscription as I wanted to try them out first. I have ordered 3 bags of coffee from them, 2 of them were "lost" in delivery and had to be replaced. I think I'll be looking for a different solution
Bad customer service
The first 3 bags of our subscription was great, but when the post office had delivery problems with the 4th bag, Trade Coffee wouldn't take any responsibility. When you pay a high amount for freshly roasted coffee, Trade should step up and offer some sort of compensation when the delivery company they hire causes late arrivals.

I wouldn't buy a "gift" from them.
Their "system" needs a credit card to redeem a gift? I bought a 3-month gift for a family member for Christmas. Trade wanted their credit card to redeem the gift, which the recipient was of course unwilling to do. No idea what their coffee is like, but I wouldn't advise buying one of their gifts because of this requirement.
Great customers service.
I has an excellent experience with trade. I decided to try it because of a promotion they were having combined with a promotion from Amex. My first order had some sort of glitch and the system changed the coffee selected to something different. I contacted support and within 5 minutes they credited my account with a bag and switched the next bag to be the one I wanted (previous bag was too late to change). Customer support has been excellent and the beans are fresh. The shipping can be slow (although I am not sure if the beans come from trade or ship direct from the roasters. My only knock would be their standard bags are 10.93 ounces , smaller than 12 ounces which seems to be the industry standard for fancy coffee. Worthwhile to note when estimating how longs the bag will last and in comparing prices.
Long-time fan!
I have used Trade for years and continue to enjoy them. I have never had a stale bag nor any problem with delivery. I might take exception to the descriptions of a few of their coffees, but my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

I don't use their subscription service
I don't use their subscription service; just several bags at a time when not travelling. Over several years and until recently, I found it simple to place an order, and I never waited more than two weeks (hey, the coffee is almost always roasted that week, can't complain).
BUT they now changed the order page -- it is a mess. My favirite list has disappeared, ordering is very wonky, Can't figure out order w/out subscribing. Looks like I'm gojng elsewhere to order coffee.
Good coffee bad delivery times
Good coffee, awful delivery times.
If i schedule coffee every two weeks I expect it to be every two weeks. Currently its delivering every 6 weeks.
Late delivery
Delivery was cancelled due to cancelled roast (second occurrence). Trade placed an order for a new coffee on the original date of delivery. They sent it ground mail instead of speeding up the deliverer which was frustrating given the coffee ended up coming 7 days past due with a 2 bag/1.5 week subscription. I like the selection of coffee but as far as customer support/satisfaction - Pretty disappointing.
