Do not rent with them. Thieves.

Do not rent with them. They steal people's deposits. They did not return our €700. Been fighting for a year.

Don’t rent a car there

while in Athens, I rented a vehicle from Otoq. As I did not have a credit card, the company informed me that a €1,400 deposit could be taken via debit card and would be refunded within approximately 30 days after the vehicle was returned. I agreed to these terms.

At the rental location, I was sent a payment link and paid the €1,400 deposit. I returned the vehicle on 17/09/2025 and the company confirmed that the car was in perfect condition and that there were no issues.

However, more than five months have now passed, and I have not received my deposit refund.

I have made numerous attempts to resolve this directly with the rental company:

I have sent multiple emails receiving only one response.

I have called several times and have repeatedly been told that the refund would be processed “next week.”
Don’t rend a car there beter pay a bit more and don’t need to worry

I had an excellent experience with 365…

I had an excellent experience with 365 Drive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Hands down the best rental company I’ve dealt with. Highly recommended!

Total scam

Total scam! They give you the car in the dark, tell you it's fine, and then charge you €1,200 for a tiny 'dent' on the roof when you bring it back. They are unprofessional and refuse to provide manager contact info. It’s an organized way to steal your deposit. Save yourself the money and the stress—go anywhere else!

Total money scam

After discovering a small scratch on the car when ending the car rent, the company held the safety deposit money. When the damage was valuated it was clear that 375,79EUR of the deposit money has to be paid back to me. It is now more than 6 months after the rental period. They don't answer to e-mails anymore nor answering phone calls. I am now thinking about sueing them to court. I've never seen anything like this before. Everyone be aware!

AVOID / WARNING

I rented a vehicle from OTOQ / Drive365 Car Rental in Greece, and it turned into one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had.

A security deposit was charged at pickup, which is normal. The car was returned on time, in proper condition, and without any damage. No issues were reported during the return process.

Despite this, my security deposit was never refunded.

I contacted the company repeatedly by email and phone. After initially avoiding clear answers, they stopped responding altogether. My calls were ignored, and my number was eventually blocked.

Blocking a customer who is simply requesting the return of their own money is unacceptable and speaks for itself.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise people not to rent from OTOQ / Drive365. There are many professional and reliable rental companies in Greece — this was not one of them.

Security deposit never returned after…

Drive 365 and OTOQ is same
Security deposit never returned after the rental ended.

The company admitted they could not get confirmation from their own partner about releasing the deposit and told me to contact my bank for a chargeback instead of taking responsibility.

When I escalated the issue through proper consumer channels, I received intimidating emails mentioning “legal consequences” rather than a refund.

So everyone that is thinking about to rent a car from them, just read more reviews on google and trust pilot because you going on vacation not war with stress and emails about your own money

Avoid if you expect support or accountability.

Professional at rental service

The car was brand new with just few km, I chose a "Yaris cross hybrid" which was great choice due to low consumption 4.1lt /100km. There was great communication via watch up with the employee, and the guarantee was 600€ via credit card when other companies need 1.200€. Very fair and good choice.

EXCELLENT FRIENDLY SERVICE

In a nutshell, outstanding service.
I booked an SUV for one week and was given an almost brand new model. The drive to and from the airport was swift. The dealer explained in detail all useful tech features i was not familiar with.
The deposit was returned to me upon the return of the car with no delays.
Most importantly Stelios, the agent who looked after me, was very efficient and went out of his way to provide a great service.

THEY ARE SCAM.
One star is to much, but we can't give less.
We rented a car from drive365 Markopoulo Avenue, Athen, picked it up from OTOQ.rent same adress, and the payment was handled via Next Deal EE situated in Heraklion. Very confusing.
They reserved a deposit at Euro 900,00 in case of any damage, missing petrol ect. We delivered har car back without any damage and the correct amount of petrol.
The company has unjustified withdrawn the deposit on our account. We have wrote several email to different company, but never got the money back. Now they have even stopped answering our emails.
STAY AWAY.

No frills but good service

Recently hired a car from Tivat airport, Montenegro. Having read the reviews after booking, I was more than a little concerned but I have to say, the whole process was absolutely fine. The office is in a weird little back room behind some garages and not too easy to find but they sent a helpful whatsapp video of how to get there from the terminal. The man who handed over the keys was nice, spoke very good English and did not try to upsell insurance when I said I'd already purchased some through a third party. Also made sure that the deposit on my credit card was a temporary hold and not an actual charge, so that was fine. The car itself was a bit battered and made a few odd sounds but honestly, who cares. It cost us about €10 per day so I can hardly complain and it got us around for 10 days without issues. Upon return, there was nobody in the office so I had to send a video via whatsapp of the car and leave the keys inside it but got confirmation there and then that it was all ok and that my deposit hold would be returned to my credit card. Upon checking 10 minutes later, it had disappeared from my pending transactions entirely so seems to have been returned immediately. Overall, for the absolute bargain money, it was a surprisingly good experience.

Never again

I am very disappointed with this car rental company. It has been over a month since I returned the car, and I still haven’t received my refund. I have contacted them several times, but nothing has been resolved. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Drive365 car rental Athens

We rented a car in Athens on August 1st. They didn't meet us at the airport until we called after waiting half an hour. The car didn't have any gas, even though the reserve was full/full. We had to put in oil because it didn't have any either. Seven weeks later, they haven't returned the deposit of €1,400, nor have they returned the payment for the oil. The contact number isn't available. I'm giving one star because it can't be given a zero.

All went smooth ,nothing to complain…

All went smooth ,nothing to complain ,brand new Peugeot 208 ,with 7000kms on the clock ,used my credit card and money were released after 25 days as indicated in the rental agreement. Our card was credit and we didnt have any issues at all but in any case you have the option to pay a bit more for full insurance and no need to worry about the money blockage .As i said,brand new cars which is the important in a car rental business.

It's a scam

It's a scam. They take 900€ from you, tell you that you will receive them in 30 days. Haven't received anything, they do not respond, they disappeared with the money. Do the right thing and avoid this company at all costs. I'll sue them with the lawyers to receive the 900€ back at this point..

I wish I had seen these reviews before…

I wish I had seen these reviews before going to this extremely unprofessional car company that treated us like shit. WE ARE 3 MONTHS IN AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY EFFING MONEY!!! They keep giving the bs excuse of “I’ve sent this matter to accounting and waiting for them to send receipt”. Like wtf? A deposit done with a credit card, much better returned they the credit card. They are still in asking to provide an IBAN which is not the form of reterned payment should be. The And actually this was supposed to be an hold not a an actual transaction.

Also, Closer to the end of the trip the window buttons did not work, they said it was my fault and had to pay $300+ euros. The buttons just stopped working!!! It’s not a user error when it’s mechanical.

I want my money!!!! I swear I’m bringing in my lawyer. This is no joke. That’s a big amount of money and I’m not letting this case rest
