OtoQ IS Global car rental
The low price is bait, they wont honor it. They WILL NOT rent you the car if you dont buy their upsells. I had to fight them on not needing a toll pass, and again on coverage amount I had to prove I had 300k or more insurance. And I had my own supplemental insurance too, and they said its a matter of policy, the only way to rent their car is to buy their Insurance, which is outrageous! $40 car rental went to $210 and that was AFTER fighting them.
Then they got super uncomfortable when I started to record. Priceline eventually refunded me. And now we get to figure out another car rental.
Also fyi, I watched someone in line in front of me go through similar struggles. He has his whole family with him, he looked so stressed but he caved, and shook his head a bunch. Poor guy. This is what they do, and rely on people not putting up a fight because they are on vacation and dont want to ruin it.
This isnt high pressure sales, they will outright refuse to rent to you if you dont get THEIR high cost insurance. I was very firm on no extras. Also priceline had to explain to them they cant do that when they were confirming the denial for my refund, and they said well thats our policy.
Day one of vacation. And Instead of relaxing im now filled with anger and having to replan everything in the street.
i used ryanair to rend a car
i had a confirmation from Ryanait that OTOQ can provide me with a car for 45UER for 2 days and my money were taken so 3 days befoer my flight i had text on my whats up saying that my reservation is cancelled so i told them to contact ryanair to cancell throught the system as i have no buisness with them as i paid to Ryanair so when i get to Saraevo they told me no car will be provided as they contact me in personal whats up and offered me car for 50 EUR for 1 day but I paid 45 for 2 days, so i had to use another car hire copmany as i did want to have buisness with them
still did not get aconfirmation from Ryanair that OTOQ cancelled my booking my money not returned yet and i have to open a case
It's just awful. This is some kind of scam. They didn't give me the car I reserved. I reserved a Fiat Tipo Hatchback Auto. They said they don't have any cars like that.
This company doesn't have any cars except the Dacia Logan. The car is in terrible condition: it has over 100,000 km on it, it's covered in scratches, the suspension is terrible, the interior is dirty, and the headlights are very dim. One of the cars had a broken headlight in the parking lot. They refused to note the damage on the form, saying just take a video of it.
I will never go there again or use your service.
I booked through Priceline. When we arrived they let us know the 7 person van we rented for our family of 6 was not available and they did not have any other vehicle that would accommodate our family. Not only that but they had no vehicles. They offered us one car that seated 5 but it was already booked for someone else but Danny said he’d deal with that person later. We declined because obviously it’s unsafe and illegal to drive with 6 In a car for 5 plus all
Of our luggage. On top of that he also said there would be an additional $500 plus in fees for insurance and toll charges even if we didn’t use a single toll road. When we asked for a refund on the van he didn’t have he said he couldn’t give us one because we booked through Priceline but to call Priceline and he’d talk to them and let them know the situation. We left in an uber and I called Priceline from there. I gave Priceline Danny’s number to call him because that’s what he said to do and when they called him he lied to them-said he had a van but that I refused it and that I just didn’t want to pay the additional insurance and left the premises without paying him. To say my children heard some choice words is an understatement, to say Danny and his company is complete trash is an understatement, to say he started our vacation on the wrong foot is an understatement. Shame on this company and shame on him. I don’t know how some people sleep at night. While I could have afforded his extra $500+ in fees, so many people come to Orlando cleaning out their bank accounts to show their kids magic and cannot afford an extra surprise $500, so I’m writing this review for them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE – STILL NO RESOLUTION
Following my initial review, the company replied publicly with a generic apology and asked me to contact them by email.
I did exactly that and sent all the requested information again.
Since then: no response at all.
This confirms what I already experienced: they appear responsive in public, but once you reach out privately, they completely ignore you.
My €900 deposit is still being withheld after 6 months.
At this point, I stand by my original statement: this is not professional behavior, and I strongly advise avoiding this company.

Reserved a car rental for a trip to Florida with my father who has mobility issues. Showed up a couple hours later than the time I had reserved and was told my reservation was cancelled due to no show with no refund $250. Absolute scam will never use Priceline again after using them many times before if they continue their relationship with Otoq. Biggest scam ever, most car rental agencies have at least a 24 hour no show policy. This is a predatory scam business that Priceline is allowing on their website. Do not rent with Priceline or Otoq!

One star is to much, but we can't give less.
Beware of this company, they are SCAMMERS.
They don't pay back the depositfee. We rented at car in August last summer and we haven't got the deposit back yet, we had a short communication, but then they stopped answering. We delivered a flawless car back, it was also approved from the company.
NEVER rent cars from this company.
We will write every month to warn others.

Do not rent from otoQ. We paid in advance and were scheduled to pick up the car in Tampa at 11:00am. There was no telephone number provided on the confirmation, so it was difficult to determine where the rental office was located (it was not at the airport). We finally found the shuttle, which was delayed and arrived at the facility on Cypress at 12:15pm. The employee looked at our reservation and told us it has been cancelled because we didn't show up on time (we were a little over one hour late). They reached out to otoQ and the company would not re-open our reservation and would not provide us with a car without paying again for a new rental. Not only were we out the $ for the rental, but we were not provided a car. We had to pay out of pocket at Enterprise back at the airport. This rental car company does not care about their customers. When we reached out to otoQ after returning home, they would not refund our money and called us a no-show. Do not ever rent from this company.

I rented a vehicle through OtoQ Greece and was charged €460 for damages that were already present on the car at pickup. At the time of collection, OtoQ's own documentation recorded 15 pre-existing damage points on the vehicle — including the very areas they later claimed I was responsible for.
Upon return, I refused to sign the return contract precisely because I disagreed with the damage claims being made. My refusal and disagreement were noted in writing on the document. Despite this, the charges were applied anyway.
OtoQ has no photographic evidence proving the vehicle was damage-free before my rental. I, however, have their own check-in report listing 15 damage points as proof that the car was already in poor condition when handed to me. This documentation directly contradicts their claims.
When I sought support from my booking platform, OtoQ showed no willingness to engage or resolve the dispute. No explanation, no evidence provided, no good faith effort to address a clearly unjustified charge.
This feels like a deliberate and calculated practice of charging customers for damages that existed long before their rental. If you are renting in Greece, avoid OtoQ entirely. Inspect every millimeter of the vehicle before driving away, film everything, and think twice before signing anything.
I am pursuing a full refund of €460 through every available channel.

Just going to pile on here with everyone else and say this place sucks. I scheduled a car rental a month and a half out. I know these places are very shady with their fees and such so I called them to get everything figured out beforehand so they wouldn't screw me over with any their ridiculous charges. I asked them what kind of insurance I needed to be able to rent a car with them and the first guy said I needed $300,000/$300,000 liability coverage which I'm pretty sure isn't a thing. I asked him "100/300?" and he said "no, 300/300." So he was no help so I hung up.
Then I started texting them and all they would say is, "check the terms and conditions." So I did, and this is exactly what it says, "US/CA customers must provide insurance with $300,000 liability cover." So all you have to do is provide insurance with $300,000 liability cover. I think they meant "coverage", someone doesn't know how to proof read or it was written by someone who doesn't speak English. Either way, that doesn't clarify whether it's $300,000 per occurrence or per person. Do they mean $100,000 per person and $300,000 per occurrence? Or 300k for both? I mean it's a pretty simple question so I asked the person over text what that means and they got pretty nasty with me and said to just read the terms and conditions.... It was crazy and made me pretty angry.
If a company can't even tell me what their policies are, why would I give them my money? It seems they want people to come in and get confused so they can take as much money from them as possible because they aren't doing anything to answer customer's questions. So after this interaction, I called Priceline and cancelled the reservation. I reiterate my initial statement, this company sucks.

I have used otoQ several times now, and cannot speak more highly of them. Comms are FANTASTIC and you get a response almost instantly via Whatsapp. Super helpful at getting you the right vehicle and giving you all the info you need. Happy to change the car if it doesn't suit your needs also. When you find a company this good you wonder how everybody else struggles so much! I will be using again in April and look forward to a long term relationship. Oh, and if you need help getting a car in other countries, they're there to help also via their partners.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT RENT. BOOKED FOR 57.77 AND WHEN I CHECKED IN, THEY REQUIRED AN ADDITIONAL $250. PLUS THE 57.77. AND THEY WOULDN'T REFUND THE 57.77. ON TOP OF THAT, THE CARS ARE NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISE....
Total scam! They give you the car in the dark, tell you it's fine, and then charge you €1,200 for a tiny 'dent' on the roof when you bring it back. They are unprofessional and refuse to provide manager contact info. It’s an organized way to steal your deposit. Save yourself the money and the stress—go anywhere else!
I rented a vehicle from OTOQ / Drive365 Car Rental in Greece, and it turned into one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had.
A security deposit was charged at pickup, which is normal. The car was returned on time, in proper condition, and without any damage. No issues were reported during the return process.
Despite this, my security deposit was never refunded.
I contacted the company repeatedly by email and phone. After initially avoiding clear answers, they stopped responding altogether. My calls were ignored, and my number was eventually blocked.
Blocking a customer who is simply requesting the return of their own money is unacceptable and speaks for itself.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise people not to rent from OTOQ / Drive365. There are many professional and reliable rental companies in Greece — this was not one of them.
Extremely unprofessional. Non responsive. Holding illegally deposit for >3 months
Security deposit never returned after the rental ended.
The company admitted they could not get confirmation from their own partner about releasing the deposit and told me to contact my bank for a chargeback instead of taking responsibility.
When I escalated the issue through proper consumer channels, I received intimidating emails mentioning “legal consequences” rather than a refund.
So everyone that is thinking about to rent a car from them, just read more reviews on google and trust pilot because you going on vacation not war with stress and emails about your own money
Avoid if you expect support or accountability.
Good service on Jordania, car was good and the refund was made properly. Great experience for me with this company.
