Very poor customer service with Compustar drone. I had basic was told 100 to get X1R or upgrade to premium and get it free. I upgrade to premium and call to confirm correct information regarding mailing new drone which they are having a supply issue on and will not be seen for about 3 months. Also told at this time it would be an additional 40 for X1R with premium. I explained what I was told and was told sorry. Get your facts correct. They did refund all money but this company needs to get their training together. Look at a different company for remote starts.

Started out decent enough but soon i was troubled by it not working as it should. Doors wouldn't lock or unlock. Couldn't start remotely. It cuts off even after I've followed the protocol when i get in. I've put in tickets to them and I've been flatly ignored. Not worth it.

It appears as if my drone mobile system has been shut down because of my subscription has run out. Although it's only been six or seven months. I'm not sure if they know a full calendar year is 12 months. If you were trying to get a customer service you are out of your mind. I've waited 45 minutes one time an hour second time and the third time I waited maybe 20 minutes. They will say there was a call back number they will get back to you as soon as possible. That's a bunch of BS product is excellent customer service if needed sucks! It is so much aggravation I am not really sure if it's worth it.
Good product, useless support
Paid a ‘Pro Installer’ guy to install a Drone X1MAX-LTE, CM-DC3, KL1 & KP2. System was flakey at best. Remote start and keyless entry worked about 50% of the time even with good LTE coverage. I opened the panel on the dash and saw that the installer had done a complete hack job. Re-installed all the units and re-built the cabling to NASA standard (I’ve worked as an EE at JPL for many years). After the re-install, it’s worked very well and seems robustly implemented. If you’re experiencing issues, it’s probably because of a crappy install

Run away, find something else. Originally worked good, but started having issues and then it required a module upgrade and more issues started. Stops working, they find that the module came lose, fix and it happens again and again and we are told its the design and it will continue to happen. Call support, worthless dont bother. Requested the subscription be cancelled after not being able to get it working in over 6 months. They state that they see communication and will only credit 6 months and not the remaining year but it has not worked by this point for almost a year. Disagee and it goes nowhere so I have to accept the 6 month credit. Well that was 3-4 months ago and still nothing, not even a phone number to speak with anyone. Plus the support ticket was closed. I am promised now that a manager will contact me, that was more than a week ago. I really hate spending money and having crappy products and support, really sucks that companies dont care anymore.

Drone mobile support and service was poor from my experience. I contacted them three times. Only once was I provided feed back and the feed back did not pertain to my issue. If you have any issues on install I hope you can get better support from them. The original installer could not get the system functioning after two appointments. I had to make a separate visit to another installer and pay an additional fee to get the system installed and working. Drone mobile said they do not cover any labor cost on warranty. Which I do not have an issue with. But the unit was never completely installed properly by their pro installer. I am not sure why a company would not support the customer and help the installer to get the system functioning. I can not speak about the reliability and continued functioning of the product yet. Hoping for the best.

Called Customer Service about a issue I was having and there response was exactly what i said in the E-mail in other words Zoe A didn't read my e-mail and he refused to help me. I sent a reply back and he said not my problem ask your friends or google well my friends laughed at the bad customer service they need to fix the issue and google said to call customer support and when I told Zoe A that he just closed out of the email and said if you need further assistance to send another e-mail. No help what so ever and Zoe A was very rude

I have been a Drone mobile user for several years and I be damn if their isn't always a damn problem with the system. I pay the 3 year plan and the system always shuts down for a week or 2 and then say maybe it's your connection. I take it in to check and my connection is great. It's the damn system. This will be my last time every using Drone mobile and I deeply advise against this product. Rude ass service when you speak with the people they offer you nothing in return after seeing that they product is messing up or dysfunctional. The worst ever

I have had DroneMobile DRX1 (4G/LTE) installed in my wife's car for the last two years. She absolutely loves it. We opted out of extra remote transmitters, so DroneMobile is the only means for us to use the remote start system. We use the app consistently every day in the morning before work and after the work day is over. No glitches or issues - it just works.
Half Baked Product
Works fine as a remote starter app. But useless in terms of GPS trip tracking and customer service is poor! Initially I got responses from support about the issues I have with the device, even though the responses were contradictory. Now I have written back three times requesting an update on the last issue and no response. Sorry I bought this product. Have a Bouncie device and it works flawlessly for GPS and trip tracking.

My dronemobile was installed in 2014, yes 6 years ago. It worked flawlessly everytime. Ever since I switched from the original Dronemobile with CMDA Verizon connection to the AT&T LTE version, which I was forced to pay $30.00 for, it has been useless.
I tried to get them to cover the cost of the new unit but they refused. I tried many times to work with customer service through email to fix my intermittent issue but no luck. I practically don't use it anymore and it is disappointing because it was useful when it actually worked.
Latest issue, is now the latest app version 4.4 does not connect to my car at all and constantly times out.
Spend your money somewhere else.

Terrible. Expensive subscription and expensive to install. Would be worth it if it actually worked, but does not work nearly half the time. Avoid at all costs.

I wish I never got this system. Every week I have to call for them to reset my device so I can see the trips. If I am paying 300 American for a service after a 1200 dollar instal I expect everything to work do not buy this garbage

I purchased a drone mobile unit for my truck with a 2yr app subscription. I had a friend added to my account, who also had a Drone Mobile product, so this friend could also unlock my truck on his phone app. A few months into the subscription I was told the current unit in my truck was now out of date and I would need to purchase and install a new unit for a "discounted price" of $29.99. After several conversations with Drone mobile representatives, once being hung up on, and approximately 30 minutes for each call before I could speak with a representative, a manager finally agreed to send me a free updated unit to have installed in my truck. After the new unit was installed it would not work. When I again called Drone Mobile I was told my account had been deleted and my friend was the only authorized user for MY ACCOUNT that I activated and paid for with MY credit card. After this mess was fixed I learned that my 2yrs subscription was cancelled. I had to argue and show proof that I purchased a 2 yrs subscription. I was so aggravated I canceled my subscription and requested a refund that I am still waiting for 1 month later.

I was recently advised by drone mobile that their relationship with Verizon will terminate as of December 31 2019. They also informed me that I will have to install a new receiver which utilizes AT&T for the mobile app remote starting tracking and health features. I was also informed that I would be responsible for purchasing the new receiver and paying for the installation. I read the terms and conditions of the contract with drone mobile and this all seems to be contrary to the agreement. Why would I be responsible for their shortcomings. I spent hundreds of dollars for the service and hardware, and now they’re telling me it’s simply won’t work anymore. Unacceptable!!! I spent over an hour on hold waiting for customer support to answer the phone, and surprise surprise no one ever answers. I highly recommend nobody purchase this item or service in the future.
