Would give Dronetech 0 if I could. Buyer Beware. My e-mail to them is below:

Good afternoon Franck (if, indeed that is your real name?)

My wife bought the Dronetech Lite drone as a Christmas present for me. It was ordered on 22nd November. My wife repeatedly enquired with Dronetech as to shipping dates etc and received little or no communication back (see summary below when we now realise why). Eventually the Drone Tech Lite arrived (after a month) causing my wife substantial concern that there would be no present to open on Christmas morning.

Cue Christmas morning and I opened the Dronetch Lite......

Initial impressions:

- Cheap, tacky, toy like build quality – extremely disappointed when I opened the packet (understatement)
- Extremely light and at a mere 86 grams not designed for use outside. Other manufacturers bring their outdoor drones in at just under the 250g mark
- Camera poor and not as advertised or paid for (4K camera)
- Small battery size
- Handset cheap and nasty
- Camera not as advertised
- In summary, a toy, not the product advertised or purchased

Set-up:

- Instructions terrible – neither the ‘manual’ nor the online guide showed how to get the drone started or what parts of the handset controlled flight commands. No information on use of the product.
- Instructions and pictures did not relate to handset supplied
- ‘Beginners Guide’ in French.....

Flight:

- Managed to work out how to get it running by trial and error.
- First flight at head height lasted max 5 mins before the drone ran out of power even though battery was fully charged before use. My youngest son gets more flight time out of the toy Drone we bought him from Amazon....
- Return to position didn’t work
- On second flight (and with fresh charged battery in Drone and brand new batteries in handset) drone got to height of our house roof (approx. 8m above ground level and 7m above the handset) and then control was lost. Drone flew off to the end of our road never to be seen again. Have been through neighbours gardens but to date have failed to locate.

Summary:

- Dronetech is a scam. Fancy website but very poor quality product – not fit for purpose.
- Suggest that you are a dropship company – product ordered through UK website but then billed and dispatched through far eastern (China?) supplier. Dronetech couldn’t update shipping as they have no interest and control over this element which is all organised in bulk through China. Dronetech don’t deal with the product – just take the money.
- My wife and son should have read Trust Pilot reviews (I will leave one shortly to update and hopefully prevent other potential victims of this fraud) – they show the true nature of this product.
- If Dronetch have any ounce of decency then you will refund my Wife the hard earned money she paid for this worthless rubbish.

I suspect that I won’t get a reply - but if you do get this then please action the last bullet point.

Sorry but this company are definitely a scam,the drone thy eventually sent was of very poor quality the remote didn't mach the drone, so was impossible to operate. I do wish I had looked at trustpilot before making a purchase. Lesson learnt!!!

Product hasn't been delivered and when you try to email them you get a generic response which doesn't relate to any query you have raised. Total waste of time.

Do not order from here !! Delivery took 2 weeks absolutely no customer service I send 10 emails got 2 automatic replies about something else completely ! Order arrived without baterries and no one would reply back to my emails. SCAM ! Do not order from drone tech !

Scam
Drone tech states it is a UK based company. They are actually Hong Kong based. I paid extra for a 72hr delivery over 2 weeks ago still not arrived.
customer service is none existent and no tracking number has been provided.

Purchased beginning of December, order said it was shipped over 2 weeks ago, I have received nothing!! Tried and tried to speak with someone but get the same response from a robot. Absolutely appalling service and has completely ruined a wee boys special day!

If there was a option to put zero starts I would this company is awful advertising as dronetec UK but not even UK based there in Hong Kong so not order ordered a drone weeks ago received a couple emails saying my drone had been dispatched and the tracking info and order number was blank still not arrived so I emailed them and they keep sending me the same email over and over saying to track please put in order number so asked multiple times for my order number only to receive the same email over and over again company is a scam and a joke not worth the Hassel now need to contact my bank for a refund AVOID

Ordered from what I thought was a uk company but it’s French. When the drone arrived it did not contain the 2 extra batteries I paid for and the quality was terrible. The web site said I could get a refund up to 14 days. They just mess with your head! I managed to get a charge back from the bank because I had asked repeatedly for a return address to send the drone back. Do not buy anything from this company they are scammers!

Received my drone but no extra batteries which I paid extra for was supplied. Trying to get into contact with them Is a nightmare I've had several emails blocked by them. Just waiting now to see if they contact me back through another email. Was disappointed upon opening the drone it doesn't look professional and i would have been better going to a toy shop. As it's a gift for Christmas il update the experience of flying it when it is used.
We finally got the drone working after multi downloads of the app and fiddling around with it as the instructions was useless. The video footage is grainy and no where near the 4 k advertised and lost signal to the phone about 20 foot up so couldn't view the image. Absolute waste of money

Do not order from this company. If you ever need to get in touch with someone from customer service then good luck!

Firstly the item arrived late. When I went to check where my item was and when it would be delivered, it turned out they had never even sent me an order number or any tracking information. I emailed them countless times to request this information and each time I received a response totally unrealated to the questions I was asking - including sending me a link to a 'return form' which was written in another language and was totally indecipherable. The item eventually arrived 3 weeks after I ordered it and when I went to request a return, I was send a pre-written generic message telling me how to 'track my order'. (Not what I was asking!) It takes them days to respond and when they finally do, they don't answer the questions you've asked or answer any queries whatsoever.

Their contact number on Google doesn't work as it is a dead line and everything on their website is marked as 'on sale' - and it says in their return policy that sale items can't be refunded!

This company is the worst I have ever ordered from and caused me nothing but stress. All I want to do is speak to a human being and arrange a return but seemingly that is an impossible task.

Pure scam. Advertised 72 hr delivery and when it didnt happen I started to investigate and found these reviews. Royal Mail dont recognise the tracking number and the immediate response chat sends an automated reply. . Thankfully, it was paid by Credit so I calledd to do charge back and it turns out they had tried to debit £250 from my account on several occasions after the original successful payment.

uk.getdronetech.com/ is a con. Dropshipper site that won't send you the product and no contact number etc. Usual internet scam.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!
I have been waiting over a month now for the delivery. Tracking details don't work, their customer service is dreadful and unresponsive.
This is clearly a company in China who rip you off.
Be prepared to lose your money if you buy from Dronetech.

Still waiting for this drone, useless costumer service and when I spoke to someone on the chat it stated of in French

My partner bought me a Dronetech Techdrone for Christmas, but only had the chance to try it out 10 days ago. Could not get the controller to charge fully. Reported this but no response after two emails and eight days. Tried to go ahead with set up anyway; this went horribly wrong, drone took off vertically and climbed out of control, then circled wildly before crashing on a neighbour's roof. I now have it back but blades are damaged and I am scared to try again. Total rip off. Will be pusuing legal route as they clearly don't care about anything else.

Update 5/7/23:
I wrote their legal email address and have received no response. I am now trying to track them through the host for their web site. We will also try to obtain a charge-back on the credit card used.
THIS IS CLEARLY A GHOST COMPANY THAT EXISTS ONLY TO TAKE MONEY AND SEND NOTHING BUT FAULTY GOODS. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, AND PLEASE BE SURE TO POST YOUR OWN REVIEW TO ENSURE NOBODY ELSE FALLS FOR THIS SCAM.

This company is a total scam, I wish I did my research before buying. Spent £180 on the Lite Drone, came two weeks later than expected. Poorest quality plastic, flimsy and exposed wires. Didn’t feel confident as soon as I opened it. Charged it up and downloaded the app, no joy. Drone didn’t fly, camera is sold as 4K yet looks like a black and white film from the 50s. Tried to contact numerous times and had no response. DO NOT BUY FROM DRONETECH.

After sale care is appalling we have a faulty controller and battery. i have been trying to sort it out since March and no luck

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !! THEY ARE A ROGUE COMPANY WHO NEVER RESPOND TO ANY ISSUES !! I HAD BARCLAYCARD RETURN MY MONEY AS THEY WOULD NOT. EVEYTHING COMES IN FROM CHINA AND THE QUALITY IS CHEAP !! WANT A DECENT DRONE BUY DGI DIFFERENT QUALITY ALTOGETHER !!

I ordered a drone as a gift but the camera isn’t working/not connecting to the app. Very disappointing!I contacted them but no reply.

Paid for a 4K drone, got a 1080P drone, the video/picture quality of such is worse than a Nokia 3310

They have ghosted me and refuse to reply to any emails.

I would avoid at all costs
