DO NOT BUY FROM THEM SCAM

We bought a drone for over £100 recently for work purposes when it arrived we did not realise it would not work. We emailed Dronetech they took ages to get back to us in which time we ordered a new drone from elsewhere as we had to use for work purposes.

They responded to say return the drone they would change the motor we were mortified as brand new drone and asking us to send it back to change motor.

Was not happy with this so asked for full refund they said could only offer partial refund but this is crazy as item was not fit for purpose the minute we opened it.

It has been weeks now still not heard anything back.

Massive scam beware -do not buy from them you will be out of pocket!

Ordered from here 8 days before Christmas, item arrived new years eve. No app to get a connection no instructions after 3 failed attempts to make contact I've just done a section 75 with my credit card provider to get the payment recalled

I got this drone for Christmas from my partner who did a lot of research and was basically scammed into paying £300 pound for a drone which is available elsewhere for a third of the cost. Battery lasts around 12-13 minutes which is appalling just for light hovering in place with no wind. Manual is not useable, this is a 4DRC F11 Pro drone renamed with just a different (unusable user manual). Before I even opened the box I was suspicious so started looking around. Website says there is a dedicated Dronetech App (nope, another lie). Follow me option is certainly not what is shown on the website either as the drone may follow but not have target in camera view. I am one of the lucky ones who actually got a drone, unfortunately it is a cheap basic drone worth less than £100 (check out ebay for 4DRC F11 Pro). They say easy refunds, however it involves sending it to China at your own cost and then hoping it gets there and judging by the experience to date I would not expect to see a penny back. Very frustrated by this company.

Do not buy from them! Claim to be a legitimate UK company with fake reviews on their website. Like many others i wad scammed into their website. Drone arrived after 2 weeks, was promised 48-72 hrs, only twigged when i checked the delivery to see it was in china. Drone has arrived, cheap imitation of what was shown on their website, drone powers up and wont connect to handset so am unable to use. Going to put this down to experience but just wanted to warn others!

Do Not Order. This is not a UK start up, they have no phone number to make contact with. When I chased delivery (that came from china) I was responded to straight away. The drone arrived on the 28th Dec, with no operating instructions, with a QR code linking to UK instructions that does not work. There is no App in the Apple App Store. The drone does not work, it turns on and the controller flashes red and bleeps. I have sent 3 emails and not received a reply to any of them. I believe this is a scam, with false claims on website & misleading advertising. I have reported to credit card company, Google and ASA, UK trading standards.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from this scam company!!! Everyone is 100% right in what there saying in there reviews this company is a scam they don't respond iv had to raise a case with my credit card company to try get my money back .
It says uk based company its not the product is from China and is cheap and tacky basically I could have gone into any toy store and brought one for £10 the camera isn't as advertised the picture again is like something you'd expect for a cheap kids toy , they promise delivery in a certain time frame they don't adhere to this mine came 10 days late .
The drone didn't even come with an instruction manual as advertised not that it would be much help it's a cheap bit if tack !!
Gutted but you live and learn I hope I get my money back !

This website is a COMPLETE SCAM. They are sending items from China, under the impression they are a company based in Europe/the UK. The website looks very legitimate, they are displaying a false TrustPilot rating which is just an image pasted onto their website. I wish I’d checked the real TrustPilot first. The professional ‘drone’ that I paid a lot of money for, arrived looking like something out of a McDonalds Happy Meal. Flimsy and doesn’t work, with no instructions, in a box that smelled cheap and horrible. It’s totally different to the image on the website. I don’t even know how poor the camera is or if it works, as there isn’t an App to connect your phone to, like the website suggests. Total rip off. Please avoid!!! I will be contacting my bank / credit card issuer for a refund.

Ordered drone as Christmas present. Stated it will arrive in 72 hours. 9 days after the order was placed package is in China. Customer service 99% non responsive. It's a joke. Made mistake as many of you here; did not go to this page sooner. Dronetech web page: complete scam. Well done, you manage to fool so many people and disappoint kids waiting for their presents.
Update: after receiving drone 13 days later, I am realising that drone is of very poor quality. Somehow, again after many emails, I got the return address (which is in UK). I have sent the drone back, they received it. After one month, still no refund.

Last email was not delivered as they changed address.

DO NOT ORDER! It is a scam. The device came, but it looks like it was bought in a pound land and it does not actually work. I really wish I read these reviews. I've reported them and reached out to the bank to get my money back. I hope karma will come back to these people.

SCAM COMPANY, DO NOT ORDER.

Not UK based and I wish I read the real reviews before purchasing in a rush. As soon as I ordered and read the real review I immediately tried to cancel the order before it was dispatched with them 4 times. Each time they refused and tried to offer a 'commercial compensation' instead and have now stopped responding.

'DroneTech PRO' arrived from China in 10 days and does not look like the pictures. It was also missing the extra battery ordered. Came in a cheap flimsy black and you can tell it's poorly built rubbish.

The company have now stopped responding so having to raise a claim with my credit card company.

Received a Dronemotion Lite for Christmas. Initially I was frustrated that there was a real lack of info, no manual and no warranty/guarantee and had some doubts as the make quality is visibly really poor. Then I found out that the 'app' is actually a free poor quality app not related to dronetech, has lots of ads and no info again. But I was still hopeful it wouldn't matter if the drone actually works well. It doesn't. After charging the drone and remote beeped and flashed but no response from any of the remote buttons or the controls in the app. Eventually the drone lifted once then dropped back down. Then it wirred but didn't have enough power to lift off from smooth grass. Three days later I've tried twice more after charging battery for longer in case was the issue and still have not managed to even replicate this response. The drone still doesn't work in response to controls and a look at the company strongly suggests it is a scam company that is in the process of renaming itself and unlikely to refund our money based on lack of communication from my issue and the other reviews here.

We’re to start? When I first saw the fake uk site it lured me in, supposedly family run buisness from London with a office etc etc claiming deliveries only take a day or two…all lies!! They are French and ship there rubbish from china which takes a minimum of two weeks, Xmas time around a month . The first mistake they made is printed the wrong address on my package , could never get them on there chat service and there customer service email address no one reply’s, so I initially received a confirmation I was receiving the drone, tracking showed it was in china , so again I emailed as of course I thought it was uk but again no reply to fix this, I decided maybe it’s a manufacturing thing and that’s were they come from even though it’s not what and why I bought as it was a Xmas gift. Nearly 3 weeks passed and it finally arrived from Hermes which was lucky I was able to divert the parcel to a neighbour which was actually me and my correct address , I opened it and I was disgusted ! One battery shorty of what I paid for and the drone was small and flimsy, plastic piece of crap, it doesn’t work and flys backwards whenever you try and move it , completely nothing like what I phurcased. Just because of all the lies and misinformation and terrible stuff DO NOT buy anything, the trust pilot comments it shows in there site are all fake and not from here , trust pilot need to do something about that.

Total shower of a business. Do not use them. I wish I’d read these reviews before. Total scam artists. The drone hasn’t arrived and I’m sure once it does it will be bad. Thankfully I didn’t spend lots of money. Awful service.

Drone arrive within a week , at Christmas this is quite a reasonable time, only held up by local courier .
Takes a lot of fiddling about to get set up with directions in Chinese initially but English instructions can be found. It works , for only a hundred pounds the dronemotion lite seems a reasonable price . Not sure what others are expecting looking at these reviews but I'm quite happy with my experience. It will easily keep a7 tr old occupied . One less positive note, I suspect the company aren't the people they present themselves to be on their website which I find is disingenuous and I wouldn't have purchased if I'd known this prior.

after waiting for nearly a month for the delivery, which they claim is hsould be no more than 8 business days, I was utterly disappointed with the piece of junk I received that I paid 300£ for!!! I didn't even bother to assemble and operate it. I'm trying to get in touch with them to return it but they don't reply!
PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM

I rarely write reviews but on this occasion the experience was so bad I wanted to try and save others from the same experience. Bought a dronemotion lite back in July for my son. Bit disappointed on first impressions as it didn’t look particular robust. My instincts were correct. This model is meant to have collision detection technology! What a joke! On first flight it was noticeably difficult to fly and control. None of the buttons on the controller matched what was shown in the instructions and it was a world away from the slick website showing an amazing intelligent drone. In reality I suspect it is cheap rubbish from China that these criminals are charging a premium for. The drone crashed on first flight causing the battery to fall out as there is nothing but a flimsy clip holding it in place and it couldn’t be found so the drone is useless. I have attempted to contact Dronetech but have had no response to repeated emails. PLEASE avoid these scammers and buy elsewhere!

As with all others below I wish that I looked the company ups first, but their website is very convincing and very British looking. Nothing of the sort no idea where they are based as their web site does not indicate but there are dates in French when they reply.

I wish I had seen these reviews before committing to buy from Donetech-UK. I thought I was ordering a drone from a UK based company. on the web page they show as being registered in the UK and state 3 to 8 days for delivery but the confirmation email arrived and the drone is coming from China with a delivery confirmation by 01/01/23. I contacted Dronetech by email and online chat to which they replied with "the order is shipped and will be delivered within the stated period". No help whatsoever. Reading the previous reviews I don't even know if a drone is going to arrive and if one does, if it will be anything like the quality of item I have paid good money for.
