I visited Dr Raja to discuss a hair transplant in early 2025, following a recommendation from a friend, and the widely available advocacy of his work online. The consultation process was professional and comfortable and I immediately knew I was in good hands and decided to proceed.

The entire transplant process was thoroughly explained prior to the procedure and Dr Raja ensured that the outcome would be built around not only my own personal desires, but his vast experience to produce a result that looked wholly natural.

The transplant took place in March 2025 and took a total of 4-5 hours. Throughout, I felt comfortable and was advised that at during any point of the procedure if I needed a break, to simply request one - patient care and happiness is paramount within this surgery. Dr Raja's team stand aside him with the same level of professionalism - every member of staff involved performed their tasks perfectly. The surgery itself is exceptionally clean and well organised. The whole experience flew by.

Following, a full aftercare program was available and I was provided instructions and all necessary medication etc. to ensure a full and thorough recovery, with additional care available a phone call away if needed.

6 months on and I cannot describe the difference in my mental health and overall wellbeing, all in thanks to Dr Raja and his team. I have been self conscious about my thinning hair for a long time and almost wish I had approached the opportunity sooner.

With the 'stigma' around male hair transplants fading, theres no reason to let you hair fade too. I wholeheartedly recommend the service provided by Dr Raja and his team.

The surgery wasn’t too bad - the painful bit is the injections with the anaesthetic but after that it doesn’t hurt.

Be patient and wait for the results… a couple of months in after the grafts fell out I was wondering about it, but as predicted, it all started properly coming in at 4-5 months. It’s now 6 months in and my hair has all come in and it’s looking great, a natural looking hairline and I look and feel younger. Density is great. So happy now!

The level of service from DR Raja and his team was exemplary. The pre consultations and post operative care was great with responsive communications throughout . Pre-surgery Dr Raja and his team were so very helpful, informative and really understanding when being asked questions. Follow up phone calls and emails really helped before the surgery.
During the surgery Dr Raja was extremely kind and patient, talked me through each step, administered the right amount of pain relief to make the whole surgery pain free. Netflix on hand to watch and Dr Raja chatted all the way through. The technicians Dr Raja used were perfectionists and very diligent.
Post surgery I had all the kit required to aid healing, a full seven day planner and the ability to contact Dr Raja if I had any questions. Overall Dr Raja and his team surpassed all my expectations.

I first started losing my hair aged 21, and I decided to take the plunge and look into hair transplants age 25. I have just reached 12 months into my hair transplant results and I am very pleased. I have decided to share the results and describe my experience that I had at The Private Clinic with Dr Raja.

I had 1879 Grafts taken from the back and sides of my head and put into the front temple areas to reduce my receding hairline. I really wanted a natural hairline, one which didn't look too straight, too blocky or too fake. I knew I needed to find the right clinic to do this for me. I first had a consultation with Dr Raja about 18 months ago, and he said I could have a transplant on my hairline, but it wasn't needed on my crown or anywhere else. I was excited as I had the option to not shave off my hair on the top of my head, and could use my fringe to cover it whilst it healed.

We worked together to create a hairline that I was happy with but one that looked natural and suited my head shape. Dr Raja was excellent in hammering home the importance of a natural hairline and should I need further treatments I have grafts to use 2/3 times in the future should I need them. I wanted a goal of having a mature hairline, and this is something I feel was achieved perfectly with Dr Raja.

On the day, I felt confident and comfortable and was able to watch movies on netflix for the duration of the procedure - something which distracted me and kept me entertained and relaxed. It was mindblowingly painless. It was a very relaxed procedure, the nurses were very helpful and were assisting Dr. Raja during the extraction and implantation process - I was very pleased with how quickly it went and how pain free it was. The staff made the experience feel like a normalish day and I am very grateful for them making me feel so comfortable in what should be quite an uncomfortable situation. At the end I was given everything I needed, saline solution to spray the back of my head and some antibiotics.

The first night was quite uncomfortable and strange, and it wasn't very easy to sleep for the first few days. However after a week I felt almost completely normal and a lot of the scarring had healed up. Fast forward 12 months and it is the best decision I have ever made - I am so pleased with the results and it has completely changed my confidence levels, I am no longer scared of the wind blowing up my hair and revealing my hairline, I feel back to myself and am over the moon with how well it went. A massive thank you to Dr Raja and his team at the private clinic - they have truly changed my life.

Procedure was relatively pain free (I’ve heard far worse horror stories for the same procedure elsewhere) which made me anxious prior to arrival but very quickly relaxed and knew I was in good hands.
