Despite my GP initially encouraging me…
Despite my GP initially encouraging me to choose a closer clinic, I was referred to this one through the RTC pathway in July and received an assessment appointment by November. The assessment itself was a positive experience; the clinician approached it with seriousness and thoroughness. A shorter follow-up session completed the evaluation, during which they explained my ADHD combined type diagnosis and discussed possible treatments. The only downside was a sense of the assessment process feeling a tad rushed, likely due to the time constraints as it's NHS commissioned.Following the assessment, I anticipated waiting weeks for the diagnostic report. However, just five days afterward, I reached out to the clinic for a brief letter for my university, and to my surprise, I received the detailed report the next day. Its thoroughness was impressive, and it helped ensure that my GP surgery was comfortable with sharing care. They promptly sent the report to my GP, who then arranged an ECG and a review appointment.Overall, the process has been smooth, and the prompt administrative response regarding the letter and report exceeded my expectations, especially given some concerns I had after reading other reviews.

Whilst the health care staff are wonderful, the admin staff are AWFUL.
I was given a report after consultation for ADHD and advised tritation appointments would begin within 12 weeks.
It is now week 14
They ignore my phone calls, and ignore repeated emails and no communication.
Be weary of how this company operates.

If I could give less than 1⭐️ it would be more appropriate.this provider are shockingly appalling.take notice and do not entertain, look elsewhere there are lots of other providers out there.this company is for profit not for patients.they are a conveyor belt for financial gain the “psychiatry”staff are clueless and I was badly let down which has left lifelong suffering.

Quick access to assessment and support
My GP referred me to this clinic via the RTC pathway, despite first trying to convince me to select a more local clinic. I was referred in July and by November had been offered an assessment appointment. The aseessment experience was good, i felt the clinician took me seriously and was thorough with the overall review. I had a second shorter follow up appointment to finish off the assessment, at the end of which it was explained that i was being diagnosed with ADHD combined type and treatment options were discussed.
I will say the only drawback has been that i felt the assessment process was slightly rushed but I think that is because its NHS commissioned and so there is limited time.
After the assessment i expected the diagnostic report to take weeks to come through so i contacted the clinic to ask if they could provide a short letter as evidence for my university just 5 days after my appointment. They responded the following day by sending my completed report through and it was really thorough. I was impressed with how detailed it was and also grateful that it was of high quality to help my GP surgery feel comfortable with shared care. They sent the report to my GP the next day after i confirmed it was all okay from my pov, and my GP surgery contacted me immediately to book in an ECG the clinic requested (to make sure all is okay to start titration) and to book in a review appt with a GP.
So far so good and admin response RE the letter/report was impressively quick (something i was worried about after reading some of the reviews here and elsewhere).

My experience was amazing
My experience with Dr J and Colleagues has been excellent. I have had my ADHD and Autism assessments and it has been a simple and easy process. The support I have received for my ADHD has been amazing. Amanda O’Brien has been excellent through the titration process. She has been very thorough and supportive. Her advice and support has been very good. I recommend Dr J and Colleagues highly! Thank you so much!

Ireti has been excellent with me from the start. She is caring and listens and puts things into perspective. A very bright ray of sunshine on this sometimes difficult ADHD journey.

Completely Negligent
I could write so much here, but I'll keep it short.
All I can say is please avoid this organisation at all costs.
At best they are completely negligent and I believe them to be operating in a very dangerous manner.
I have an ongoing complaint with Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board and I would urge anyone else with any concerns regarding this organisation to do the same.

Ridiculous form
Got offered my first appointment at a day and time I can’t do so have to wait a further month for an appointment. The form you have to fill in is 10 pages long which is so not inclusive in any sense, so I’m feeling very uncertain about them as a provider if they can’t think up a way to assess people for ADHD without an ounce of consideration for neuro-inclusivity in their process.

10/10 service
I personally felt this practice offered me an amazing services. Understood and VALUED, not just another number or patient. Genuinely gutted I wouldn’t be able to speak with Heather again. I’m sure all the professionals are just as amazing but Heather was amazing such a lovely woman who treated me as an individual.

I have had a really positive experience…
I have had a really positive experience with Dr J and Colleagues from the very start of this personal stressful journey.
In particular, Amanda has been quite brilliant.
I felt completely safe with her. She was always professional and clearly highly knowledgable in this area but most importantly to me she always did what she said she was going to do. It was so easy to communicate with her and she had the answers to all my bonkers questions and worries. In addition to this I was even more reassured as she would respond to me quickly and I knew I had someone to discuss concerns with as they arose and I wouldn’t be left stranded attempting to navigate these changes by myself.
Thank you Amanda and team

Confusing wall of silence.
I don’t really feel like I’ve been taken seriously at all since being referred here. Literally correspondence being ignored and asking for help being ignored. When having my assessment appointment, I just was made to feel like I was boring and needed to hurry up and stop talking, and getting emotional led to a weird question of “oh are you getting emotional” then being ignored till I’d calmed down. There’s been zero attempt to show any care, or even to respond to me. Just got me diagnosed then ignored me completely. Pretty crazy.

Completely negligent and not…
Completely negligent and not collaborative with GP or cardiology team. Almost a year and titration hasn’t begun. Forced me to begin beta blockers for medication they still haven’t began to try on me.

If you haven't had a bad experience…
If you haven't had a bad experience yet, just wait.
Was referred through RTC, had my assessment in January. Then had titration up until July. Mostly went smoothly other than 2 cases of not informing me of my next appointment time/date. My GP refused shared care. Then I later requested a repeat prescription for the first time.
I was not informed in my final video call appointment of how to properly request it, I emailed with all the information and was told to fill out a form instead (with the same info). Did that. About 5 days later I was asked to confirm my delivery address, which I did. Then nothing. I emailed 12 days after when I filled out the form, still no reply (it's been almost a week after sending it now). I called and was told the request was with the clinician and that they would message them and ask when it'll be dispatched, then let me know when there's a reply. 2.5 weeks and the request is still not dispatched??
I have no clue when this will be, and there was also no mention of me having to titrate again when it's been 16 days without meds at this point. I have another serious health condition which has gotten significantly worse over this gap, to the point I will most likely be dropping out of university. Don't know if suddenly coming off ADHD meds is the cause for this flare but I would not be surprised.
Communication is appalling, specifically regarding emails. Late meds/prescription requests not being answered. Do not recommend.
