Jasdeep has been very kind
Jasdeep has been very kind, polite, understanding and sympathetic with my adhd symptoms and showed great insight on how to help me. She went out her way to help me when I have emailed with queries around my medication.
I have started ADHD appointments back…
I have started ADHD appointments back in June. Since then, they have been great. Jasdeep was very helpful during this time. Her clear instructions and regular check ins have been very supportive. My meds arrived always in time. Thank you Jasdeep and Dr J's team.
My experience with Dr J and Colleagues…
My experience with Dr J and Colleagues has been really very good. Although the online diagnosis didn't really feel long enough (on reflection, I would have answered some of the questions differently), it was a positive experience and I did feel listened to. The best part of the experience was the first titration appointment with Samir, which again was shorter than some people would like but was exceedingly professional and seamless. I was issued with a prescription which arrived the next day by first class post. Excellent work by all.
Jasdeep Kaur
My appointments have been handled extremely well. Jasdeep has been a pleasure, punctual, efficient, considerate, respectful & thorough. I have always been kept well informed & prescriptions service has been excellent & reliable. Thank you.
Great quality staff
I'm really glad I chose this clinic for my AuDHD journey. It's been an extremely smooth process working with them and I have no complaints. Special mention to the practitioner Marylyn Nathan-Wilson who took on my case and really helped me to pin down my medication needs - I appreciate that she took the time to actually listen to my thoughts/experiences and then try things out based on that information, which made me feel very safe and reassured.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. This has been a life changing experience! The care as well as professionalism along with the help they have provided, I can’t praise them enough. They put me at ease, always made sure I was comfortable and would ask if I had any questions about things and then patiently answered them, sometimes repeatedly as my ADHD didn’t always let me take it in the first time. I would particularly like to thank Jasdeep for working with me while I got my medication sorted.
Everyone I have spoken to at Dr J and…
Everyone I have spoken to at Dr J and Colleagues has been very kind and understanding of my condition. Jasdeep Kaur in particular has made the process of tritation a really friendly and calm experience. I look forward to speaking with Jasdeep again soon.
Thank you Jasdeep Kaur!
I had a really positive experience with Dr J and Colleagues. Jasdeep supported me throughout my ADHD titration and was always patient, understanding, and clear in her advice. She made the process much less overwhelming and I felt listened to at every step. I am very grateful for her guidance and would definitely recommend their service.
Smooth and very helpful
Had a smooth and very helpful experience with my Tritration pharmacist Marylyn. She ensured I got the right treatment in the right way and it has given me a great positive change in my life.

Amazing experience with the team at Dr J and Colleagues. So professional but also really make you feel at ease and comfortable, almost like talking to a friend! Couldn’t recommend them any higher!
Thank you!
I was referred to Dr J and Colleagues in July 2024 and found the assessment, diagnosis, and care to be an overwhelmingly positive experience.
I was lucky enough to go through titration with Marylyn Nathan-Wilson who is one of the kindest and most attentive medical practitioners I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her care, transparency, and dedication have made what can normally be a daunting process a really transformative and positive experience where I felt listened to and supported.
Thank you so much!
Good overall but room for improvement
I was referred to Dr J and Colleagues in September 2024 by my GP under Right To Choose and had my ADHD assessment in early January 2025. The assessment appointment itself was fine and the assessor was friendly and put me at ease. However, I was a bit surprised that it only lasted 35 minutes which felt rather brief.
I also wasn't particularly happy with the assessment report which contained quite a few errors - e.g. some assertions that I said or claimed something which I know that we didn't discuss whatsoever as well as a blood pressure reading which I didn't provide nor was ever asked for. Some other parts also felt like they might have been copied and pasted from other patients' reports because they didn't ring true to me at all. Those errors in the report certainly made it seem as if the assessment appointment itself was too short and a longer session would have been of significant benefit. I regret not reading through the report as soon as I received it so that I could have got in contact to try and get it amended so that it was a more accurate reflection of me, my answers in the pre-assessment questionnaire and the assessment itself. By the time I read it about 3 weeks had passed and I knew that a copy must have already been sent to my GP so it felt too late at that stage.
My experience of medication titration with Dr J and Colleagues was far more positive however. I was assigned to Marylyn Nathan-Wilson who was brilliant. It was obvious how much she cared about her patients and trying to make sure that everyone's initial journey with medication was as stress-free and positive as possible. I always felt very well supported by Marylyn at every stage of the titration process.
Overall, I'm happy with my experience with Dr J and Colleagues and I would recommend them to anyone reading this and seeking an ADHD diagnosis. I certainly appreciated that, at least when I was referred, they had one of the shortest waiting lists of any NHS RTC provider. However, it would have been better if the assessment appointment was a longer/more in-depth and if the assessment report had contained fewer errors.
Amazing experience from start to finish.
Amazing experience thanks to the superstar Marylyn !
Been doing titration with her for a number of months while I got my dosage right - she was so personable, took an active interest in me and was always so bubbly and full of joy.
This is the best experience I've had with anything to do with healthcare and I've recommended Dr J and Colleagues to so many friends and family because of the experience I've had with Marilyn.
Misleading and Disruptive ADHD Care
Misleading and Disruptive ADHD Care – Denied NHS Right to Choose Follow-Up appointment:
I was referred to Dr J and Colleagues through NHS Right to Choose for an ADHD assessment. The initial assessment and follow up titration appointment went fine and I was both diagnosed with ADHD and provided with my first supply of medication for titration.
One week before my second titration appointment was due, I enquired by email if I could rearrange the appointment day as I had now been called into work. I did not ask to cancel the appointment- it was merely an enquiry to see if rearranging it was possible.
Unfortunately, the admin team just abruptly cancelled my appointment and emailed back saying they could not rebook another one as Sussex ICB had now imposed a funding cap on the number of appointments available for right to choose patients. No information was provided on why the funding cap had been imposed and there was no indication of when my follow up appointment would happen or what would happen when I run out of medication. As an autistic person, I found the lack of clarity around knowing when my care and medication would be resumed to be highly distressing.
Upon conducting research, I also found that the claim that Sussex ICB has imposed funding caps is factually incorrect. NHS England removed the proposed ADHD funding cap in April 2025, and there is no published evidence that Sussex ICB has enforced such a restriction. Despite repeated requests, Dr J and Colleagues were unwilling to listen to me further, or provide any documentation to support their explanation.
This misleading justification has delayed my treatment and caused unnecessary stress. As a patient who accessed this service legally and correctly under NHS Right to Choose, I find this unacceptable and have escalated the matter to the ICB and relevant regulatory bodies.
Patients should be cautious and ask for clarity before engaging with this provider—especially about follow-up care and funding commitments.

Dr Marylyn Nathan-Wilson helped me through the process of starting medication after being diagnosed with ADHD and she was extremely helpful in our monthly reviews and answered any questions I had. Personalised treatment that actually works
I had such a positive experience with Dr J and Colleagues during my ADHD assessment and titration, and I can’t thank Marylyn Nathan-Wilson enough for how supportive and attentive she was throughout the process.
She helped me try different medications and doses until we found the one that actually worked for me. What really made a difference was how she considered the impact of my hormonal cycle and adjusted my dosage to match how I was feeling at different times of the month. It felt like my treatment was truly personalised.
At one point I needed to take a short break from medication while I was away on holiday. Marylyn planned everything so smoothly, and my medication was delivered just as I returned. It was such a relief not to have to chase things or worry while I was away.
She was always kind, patient, and really knowledgeable. Our check-ins were never rushed. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and in control at every stage.
Thanks to her, I’m now on a treatment plan that actually works for me and has made a big difference in my day-to-day life. If you’re thinking about getting assessed or starting treatment through Dr J and Colleagues, I honestly can’t recommend them enough. And if you get the chance to work with Marylyn, you’ll be in amazing hands.
Marilyn and DrJ have changed my life for the better
I was prescribed my Marilyn - her input and the medication she prescribed helped me significantly. She was friendly, attentive and all my interactions with DrJ staff have been prompt and professional. Thank you Marilyn and DrJ - the NHS should be learning from organisations and professionals like yourself's.
Marylyn was my adviser on medication…
Marylyn was my adviser on medication and she is just the most kindest understanding lady I was so blessed to have been with her through this process .never any judgement just there to listen and help
Unpleasant and unprofessional
I was referred to Dr J and Colleagues via NHS. I was aware of a long waiting list but when it took almost a year to hear from them I reached out to my GP to see what’s going on. Turns out they tried to call me a month prior. I checked missed calls and that’s right - however, no voicemail, no email, nothing. With the amount of scam calls we get these days, I was not going to call back an unknown number. Got their email address from my GP. I sent an email to make a booking and got one back with a date and time for the first appointment/assessment. Noone asked if I was available on that date and time - knowing how long it takes with everything, I made myself available. An email with the initial assessment-test was sent to me, that needed to be done in advance. Nothing in the email was said that you will need a family member to fill out a part of it, so when that part came up I couldn’t save everything I filled out and lost it all. So I had to do the same assessment twice.
First call, started off fine but shortly into the meeting it got unpleasant. The Dr asked the same questions as the initial assessment had. It’s been a month since I did it, so obviously I won’t remember the answers I selected. So when I said ‘Often’ instead of ‘Sometimes’ or vice versa, the Dr became rather rude and I felt a little confrontational. I was really taken back, threw me off completely. I did mention to her that there was a particular question that at the time I selected ‘Never’ but since then I really noticed that it was actually ’Often’ - didn’t really phase her or at least I felt like it didn’t. After a few instances when the answers didn’t entirely match and her being rude, I got upset and told her that I actually had to do the test twice because of the reasons I said earlier. She then backed down a bit and said that the whole point is just to see if they match now. The tone changed a bit, but I was no longer comfortable with the meeting. I was cut off a few times as well, Dr definitely rushed me to answer the questions. At the end I was asked additional questions - but they were so broad, I had no idea what to say. I had to ask to put them into perspective or give an example as to what she is referring to. The whole meeting was unpleasant, it was not a conversation, it felt like I was “defending” myself. I spoke to my partner straight after the assessment and he was appalled and suggested I should make a complaint, but I did not want that to affect the process.
Second call was booked in for the results. I was ready for the call. After a quick identification process Dr had to check her notes. I felt that it was a bit odd. It’s been a week, more than enough time to write down the final decision. The results where presented in maybe two sentences. “I do not think you have ADHD. You may have some impulsivity and something else…’ And silence… I was like ok, I accept that. What can I say, not a doctor myself. I was expecting some sort of explanation as to why she thinks I don’t have ADHD, maybe something else to explain my behaviour and mental state… Again, it felt very dismissive, like I’m a burden and I should just move on. She asked if I had any questions, I asked if she would think that maybe I have OCD or something and her answer was “Well you said it yourself that you may have it so…” - I’m confused whose the doctor here. Basically I should be looking for help elsewhere . Now, even though I’m not convinced with the results, I am not the doctor and can not say she was wrong, but what I can say is that she should get training on how to speak to people, be more empathetic, patient and understanding. The whole process was unpleasant and it explains the other negative reviews.
