Dr Tamer is a life saver! He has changed mine and my kids lives massively! I'm peri menopause but now no longer have to take all my medication and I can now keep up and play with my 5yr old. I'm 49 soon and am now back to the slim happy confident person I was pre menopause thanks to this wonderful man ! And all his staff are incredible... very caring, helpful and attentive to u and ur needs ❤️ if ur on the fence i can honestly say u are in amazing safe hands . . I had a GS at 14st at 5ft 2 and now sit around 9st and feel amazing.
Not only do I feel amazing, I'm told I look amazing too.

I am just under six months post Gastric Sleeve operation with Dr Tamar in Egypt. I have lost five stone and gained all of the confidence that I had years ago. I feel 20 years younger than I did before my operation. I go to the gym every morning. I am fit healthy and strong. I am able to eat anything I want to in moderation. This procedure has literally changed my life. Don’t hesitate to do it. You’ll not regret it.

What can I say, Dr Tamer is the best at what he does. He is genuinely a lovely person who actually cares about his patients. My surgery went smooth...was a bit uncomfortable when I came around which is normal... but the nurse Mariam ( loved her) gave me a hot water bottle to put on my stomach, which was a god send, the heat and the pressure worked a treat. Within 2 weeks of my surgery I was off all my blood pressure medication, the reason I had the surgery in the first place. My blood pressure was at a dangerous level and i couldn't control it. My Gp Was behind my decision, as they didn't know what else to do. I have ME/CFS so I can't exercise now. Best decision I have made in my life, wish i done it sooner and not suffered all this time. I have lost 4 stone since my operation 7months ago, 1 stone to go and I will be at my target of 10 stone, like being 18 again..maybe not🥰 My Best Friend just had her surgery today. I was hesitant about the operation. It has been a year looking for the perfect dr. I had thousands of questions in mind until someone showed me the Instagram page of Dr. Tamer. I contacted him he responded right away, same thing for Yomna. I reviewed his website & booked my surgery within 2 weeks. I did not want to you or asked more. I just wanted to loose weight and I had to take the decision and do it otherwise I will be thinking too much and change my mind. I had a gastric sleeve. In 1 year I lost 49kg dropped from 115k to 66kg with no loose skin, zero exercise not even a walk and after 6 months I started eating sweets and still loosing weight. i went from risk high diabetes to none , more confident back to the old ME as I was 20 years, now i'm 36 preparing by body for a pregnancy. I didn’t sit on the fence for years deciding whether or not to have a gastric sleeve, a friend of mine had her surgery in August 2022 and after seeing her results it wasn’t even a question.

I had to wait because my littlest baby wasn’t born until February 2023, as soon as they’d stopped breastfeeding I booked my date.

My decision was purely vanity based- I was done being fat. No obesity induced health conditions. At this point I’m going to reach out to the ‘you’re taking the easy option crew’ - yes. I confirm that I took the easy option. However, I successfully achieved weight loss previously through diet and exercise but when there are 2 under 2 around there’s no time for mumma to be precious over diet and exercise so why would I climb that mountain with a Bergen when I can climb it with a clutch bag?! At this point I’m going to confirm that this surgery is not a cure all, it’s a tool to add to your kit of weight management and I kind of master reset for your body.

You. Have. To. Work.

You must prioritise protein, you must make the right food and drink choices the vast majority of the time. It will not work otherwise.

Sure, I do still eat cake, biscuits, chocolate, crisps, Happy Meals etc etc but very sporadically and the portion of the above is like the little Halloween confectionery packets or a match box size of cake.

Daily my consists of: lean meat (chicken mostly), fish, eggs, Greek yogurt, milk, oats, Babybels, protein shakes/clear whey/protein puddings, peanut butter, vegetables and fruit.

I do not take caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks.

So, I started the liver reducing diet at 15st 6lbs and I flew out to see Dr Tamer at 14st 11lbs. I’m just over 7 months post op now and 9st 10lbs. Still losing but very slowly now.

My restriction is super variable, some days I could eat for the world and others I’m satiated on very little so consumption ranges from 600 calories to 1,000 calories.

I do have fibromyalgia, joint hypermobility and I also suffer with mechanical migraines. Now, don’t think I’m a snow flake. I’m not. All of these conditions were ignored and denied unless they were 10/10. I have noticed a significant improvement in all of the symptoms associated with the above. Migraines are much less frequent, joint pain is now occasional ache, fatigue is vastly improved. I live normally now without having to work at ignoring the conditions above.

The process itself…a walk in the park. It’s nothing more than a trip grocery shopping, just another part of life.

The mission is a slick one: you fly, you are collected, you are accommodated, you are tested, you are operated on, you recover, you are driven to your hotel, you fly home.

I am a massive advocate of surgery and of Dr Tamer. He is passionate about public health and improving quality of life for the bariatric community. He is a well regarded practitioner in the field…the evidence of his practice is readily available. As for the surgery, if you are a person that has battled weight management in adult life then take this tool and start running…

Abdelbaki MD & his team are the best in the world ❤️ATM it's all over the UK news about the horror stories with Bariatric Surgery in Turkey. So many people having huge complications plus negligence through cost cutting & unregulated surgery by unprofessional so called surgeons [butchers]!!!
Some have even died many have survived but with horrendous disabilities that has scared them for life.Some needing to be fed through feeding tubes for the rest of their lives because the surgeons removed more than 80% of stomach 😪😪
Please please do not go there!!!
Do your research. You will be 100% safe with Dr Tamer & his team. He's work is 2nd to non. He completely cares about his patients, their health & any risks that could jeopardise their health or life.
He will refuse to operate if he thinks any complications may arise ie with Abnormal blood tests, fatty liver, high BP, heart problems ect
He will then see patient's again when he has got them healthier & totally prepared for surgery. This is because he is a genuine, honest, trustworthy Dr who doesn't just do it for the money unlike thoese in Turkey or other countries!!! He does it because he genuinely wants to improve people's quality of life!
You will never regret booking with this man & his team. There is no one in the world like him 🙏 You will get the best Surgeon, Anesthetists, Drs, Nurses, Carer Givers, Nutritionalist, Treatment & After care ect It's a spotlessly clean modern hospital with all up to date technology & Emergency teams on hand.

I had the surgery on 2/5/2024 my experience was easy and everything went smoothly as a person who is afraid of surgeries and hospital it was so easy the only pain i felt was right after the surgery the pressure on my chest and bit tummy ache but it goes away with walking and medication they gave you . After 12 months researching a Gastric Sleeve and trying to find the best surgeon, I found Dr T and he definitely was THE BEST! I was very sceptical about travelling abroad for surgery and I didn’t tell many people as I knew they be concerned about me travelling to Egypt for the surgery. Well, 2yrs on and I happily tell everyone that I went to Egypt and that Dr T is the best surgeon there is. I’ve had several operations in the UK and dealt with various consultants and the care received in Egypt was by far the best. From the very beginning when I enquired about the surgery, the communication was amazing, very clear and very straightforward. I got booked up and waited for my time to come. On arrival at Cairo airport, the driver arrived and took me the clinic, crazy roads compared to the UK but I still felt safe and our driver stopped and went to get us some drinks from the shop for the journey!! On arrival at the hospital, which is immaculate, I was shown to my room and told what would happen; tests etc. The nurses were so lovely and I had no communication problems with them despite English not being their first language. They can’t do enough for you. Then I met the main man, what a lovely man! So reassuring and I felt at ease immediately as we chatted away. Nerves just disappeared. Post op, pain was managed really well. When I got discharged and went to my hotel, I was quite unwell with sickness, I felt awful. Dr T kept in touch regularly and answered any messages so quickly. As my sickness continued he told me to speak to the hotel reception who would arrange for an anti sickness injection. A guy from the pharmacy came to my room and gave me the injection. I couldn’t believe the amazing service. I flew home and again Dr T always responded to my messages very quickly. I don’t think he ever stops working! After each set of bloods, 3 month/6month and then yearly, I send him my results, he looks over them and tells me his thoughts! I have lost almost 10 stone and I have been maintaining for a while now, fluctuating by the odd few pounds. My life has changed forever and I can now do all the things I’ve missed out on with my kids! I am forever grateful to Dr T and his amazing team.
