Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible! Bought a tourist SIM for 30 days unlimited internet. Now it's day 5 and there is no internet connection anymore at all. Allthough I have reception. If you're a tourist: take any other company than this.

Dtac is the worst

Dtac is the worst. We bought two internet packages for 30 days. After like 16 days the packages just stopped working. So we think we got the packages for 16 days while we paid for 30 days. We have been trying to contact them for two days now and still nothing is happening :(

Staff in BKK Airport today working in arivals are very little help and very poor service !! I brought my sim from dtac here 30 days ago and paid 999 thai bhat. Asked for help to activate the 22 bhat offer for the day as I fly out this evening and only need data for a few hours , they refused to help me and wanted me to buy a 3 day data package. After explaining that I fly this evening and don't need that I was told to go away and do it myself !! VERY ignorant staff do not recommend if that's how dtac treats customers !!!!

Scam company, don’t buy from them!

Worst sim company I’ve been with, only went with them due to people saying it has good coverage. I paid for the 30 day SIM card at the koh Samui airport and they said that it had unlimited internet for 30 days. Since then it ran out after 3 days and hadn’t renewed since. It’s now asking me to top it up for more internet. Biggest scam company, don’t waste your money with this company, get another Sim from elsewhere!

Pure scam

Pure scam. They automatically turn on auto renewal of the package and you can not turn it off. Tried to contact the call center(they charge you 3 baht for the try) but the robot answered in Thai language with no any suggestion to switch to English language.

Sim balance zeroed out after a day

We were group of 6 peeps, we got 4 sims among ourselves. We bought a 8day tourism sim, the internet was working fine, but even if it said some limited calling minutes, two of the sim didn't had any balance left in them, it's very unprofessional to scam tourist globally.
This bodes really bad for the reputation of the tourism as a whole

This has a lot of bad reviews but tbh…

This has a lot of bad reviews but tbh so far it’s been great. Was only 600 baht in the airport for 30 days unlimited which was half the price of others and so far it’s been fast and reliable, way better than in London. Also took like 1 min to set up and pay.

I bought a tourist 16 day data SIM card, it started to get slow 4-5 days before expiry even I had more than half of data left. It got so bad 3 days before I basically did not have internet. I had to call their customer service number 1678 or something like that on my phone and I had to pay ฿3 a minute to talk to their customer service! I have never heard that people had to pay to call customer service. Don’t buy again!

It is illegal to charge someone for a service and then refuse to provide that service, but that is what dtac has done. For over two years I've had the same package but this month it stopped working, so I called the service centre and they required me to pay again and promised me it would work. I even received a text from dtac confirming my top up that included the details of my payment and package, but even then after I'd paid the full price 2 extra times, received confirmation from 2 different employees, and received confirmation texts from the official dtac account, I still don't have any internet; my simcard works, my mobile data is on, there are no other problems with my phone. My package is usually 200 baht per month but I've paid 600 and still don't have internet. Switching to True.

Worst coverage in Thailand

This time I tried out dtac, but that was a mistake. At Koh chang right now and can only use data on my phone if im near a WiFi. The coverage is so bad. Even before when I was in Bangkok the coverage wasnt good.
I tried true move before and never had any problems. So if you going to Thailand stay away from dtac.

Trying to shut off my number with them…

Trying to shut off my number with them for over a year since I'm not living in Thailand anymore. Customer service is hard to reach like it's never existed. They complicate things and only allow you to close your number when you're presented at the shop in Thailand. My family member cannot do it for me. How can I do that when I'm not there!! So now I'm paying for the bills on the number I haven't used for over 3 years because they wouldn't let me shut it down. In conclusion, A SCAM! Please run away and use any other company!

It's expensive

It's expensive, their internet connection is poor but the worst is the way they manage their service. Most of packages are automatically renewable, it's written in tiny letters often on another page so nobody will see that clause. Packages are very hard to cancel, you mostly need to call a customer service and even they are difficult to deal with.

DTAC YOU ARE BEEN MONITORED BY NBTC.

NBTC - The National Broadcasting Thailand Cooperation is an Thai Governmental Department Organisation that Regulating Bodies who Issues Broadcasting Licenses to many Thai Mobile Phone Communications Operations Companies as Regulator Authorities.

NBTC DO TAKE ACTION.

NBTC as a Regulator Bodies do have such Responsibilities to Monitor and take Action against Law Braking License holding Mobile Phone Operators and the Shared Publics Awareness is a Great way of Reporting in such Custumer Related Complaint Issues to NBTC.

NBTC has an Hotline #1200
Where Dtac and other mobile operator Custumers can submit their Complaints to.

NBTC Do also have their email: tci.service"at"nbtc.go.th where discruntable and unhappy Dtac customer can submit and write down their Dtac Complaints Issues

You can submit your Dtac Complants in English but you will only receive your NBTC answers back in thai language unfortunately due to lack of transparency?

Bear in mind when NBTC receive your complaint? It get sent back to Dtac Trinet for Dtac to review and take action?
Dtac then send both the complaint letter and their findings back to NBTC?

NBTC then submits their findings and conclution from Dtac provided documents back to the customer?

This is Important to know!!

I find later that in almost all instances from Dtac disclosed documents that Dtac submitts to NBTC
are not consistent or of true answers nor true facts and a misrepresentation of fabricated lies and evidence, manipulated data information with lies, deceptions, distorted facts and non disclosed documentation provided back to NBTC forwarded back to the Complainee?

Bear in mind if you are a non Thai and do have non ability to read the thai version of the reply from NBTC?

Then how can you know the ways that Dtac decieve the and manipulating NBTC that the original complaint seems to have no merit as content?
This show the ugly Corruption that is so eminent and present in all ways of the thai society you can only be relying on Justification method of "KARMA" to prevail?

Due to Dtac Trinet ongoing Accumulate Complaints.

Lets call this a Public Relations Exercise.

Ramification is the Only Justification method for Dtac Cooperation to Comply and come to grip and deal with their own Accumulated Customer Attached Complaint Issues.

Dtac Customer Service Representative in their Dtac Centers and Call Centers
Do not always agree to write or take down Customer Complaints in any verbal or spoken forms.

Dtac Center staff in cases of customer verbal complaints is not solved to customers satisfaction he/she the customer can demanded that Dtac staff to writes down the complaints and send the complaint to Bangkok HQ for further investigation.

Bear in mind that Dtac do not get you see any of the Notes or Complaint that they are submitting in their Dtac computer?
To their customers annoyance - for review Issue and check content accuracy? nor do customers recieve give any copies of such complaint made?

Transparency is a distant unknown wording in getting a copy of such submitted complaint is not a transparent wording found in Dtac's
staff's vocabulary?

Does Dtac Scam new and current customers with "Sig Zag" Agreed Packages? YES

Does Dtac unlawfuly Clone customers Sim Cards? YES

Does Dtac Agnoladge any such Responsibilities? NO

Does Dtac demise of "Loss of Face" attitude exist? YES

Does "Karma" prevail when Dtac Scam, Lie or Decieve their customers? YES

Does Dtac intimidated their customers? YES

Does Dtac staff and managment retaliate unlawfuly back towards their customers by 6 time this year calling Mall Security to come and further trying with direct intimidation stop the customer to speak his case? YES

Does Dtac Center Spy on their customers by Voice monitor and CCTV? YES

Does Dtac wrongfully deny customer from take photos of Customer Service Representative who lie about their Names and Dtac ID numbers when asking them to provide such information? YES

"KARMA" Prevailed in a 2020 thaivisa news article in december that about 120.000 Dtac customers left Dtac mobile operator due to inept Custumer Service and non transparency in Dtac complaint investigation that made many discrunted Dtac customer look else were for better mobile phone operators and internet providers, with better Customer Support ethics.

When so many Dtac Trinet Custumers are so truly unhappy about their dealings with Dtac Trinet and their Customer Service Staff and Managment who consistantly Breaches their own Dtac Trinet Cooperation's Company Policies, Ethical Policies, Customer Service Policies and their own Ineptness to lie and deny any wrong doings, decieve, lie to the face of their customers by not doing their job by the Company Policies Guidlines etc.

Looks like a new way to take people's money. Monthly internet renewal my wife's phone had enough money for a renewal but they replied cancelled not enough money when they were phoned they said they will renew but the cost is 20 bhat, today mine was due and also cancelled more than enough money on my account to renew. I think everybody should check if it happens to them .Not a nice way to extort money out of people. We will change server after 10 years now

Cheats customer of network & horrible service

Cheats customers of their data, extremely bad service, two cases below:
1. When applied for the "650 THB Unlimited 4g" package, clearly points/stated/confirm this one but the staff signed us up to the limited one, almost ran out of internet and had to travel all the way back to change it.

2. Paid 700 THB per month (that's alot compared to many other servers (which I will move to shortly)) for unlimited 4G, but my network kept switching to 3G constantly for the past months, called to report and reset the server over 4 times, still constantly switches to 3G. 2nd time I called they also gave idiotic excuse that it's because there's been network interferances recently in the area, so I told them this has been an issue long before. No excuse now. Issue still unfixed.

Seriously don't give us the "stay safe" notification bullsh*t, we paid you this much just stop cheating us of our network. This was an issue even before the Corona epidemic so that's no excuse, I've only noticed the switching recently so god knows how much network they've cheated from me already. They focus so much on their advertisements but gives abhorring service like this, there's better services out there, highly unrecommend this one.

Dtac ???? What are you doing now SHAME ON YOU !!!!

Dtac has become too greedy I purchased a 3.5 G data package for 399Bht. I had to buy a new number which was another 150Bht. When I went to my account MyDtac I could not find exactly how much data I purchased. They only give you a circle graph. So from the circle graph I estimated that I only received around 2.3G and it’s very slow. Next time I come to Thailand and this is my 8th trip I will be looking at other companies. Shame on you Dtac. Or I will bring a data package from home.

Dtac used to give you the option of giving them periodic surveys when you went to your account now they don’t because their are a lot of unhappy customers out there now. Two years ago I gave Dtac an excellent review now they have changed. Look elsewhere is my recommendation.

Rip off

Rip off. Scam. The package we paid for was 449 baht, 4.5gb for 15 days. Later found what was loaded was 229 baht for 2.5gb per month.

Such a disappointment for this company …

Such a disappointment for this company with customer service system so many scams and annoy SMS. I used internet package unlimited speed it happens many time I that internet not stable at all and the most important thing I suspected that they have corruption on internet packages, they charged me 10 baht per messages from scams advertise without notification to the customer.
