I am trying to purchase Canadian made products and Duck and Puddle makes it seem like they are Canadian. THEY ARE NOT. I see my shipment is coming from China and that is extremely disappointing.

Duck and Puddle buys cheap goods on Amazon and resells them for 4 times the price.

Just one example. This lamp which they list for $129 CAD

"Lumvara - Wireless Bedside Lamp - Rechargeable Touch Table Lamp"

They rebranded the EXACT same lamp found on amazon. Just search "Color Changing Lamp, Remote Control Rechargeable RGB Lamp 3 Way Dimmable Multi-Color Touch LED Ambient Lighting for Bedroom, Kids Room, Living Room Night" and you will find it for $24.

Do a Google Lens search on many of their products and you will find the same.

Another example. Their "Pendulix - Modern Pendulum Wall Clock" listed for $149 is available on TEMU for $49.

What a scam!

Don't trust them, when they say easy return. The items are shipped from China, and you need to pay for shipping back to China.
Also, the quality of the sconce that we bought was very bad and cheap.
I would never again shop from them or recommend anyone to shop from them

Be wary of this well-presented storefront with an Ottawa address. Other than an email address, there is no way to contact them. The published Bank street address when searched on Google Maps resolves to a Starbucks location in Ottawa. A strange phone number that does not connect to anything is published on the site. It "appears" to be a Netherlands number. On the website they state "All Duck and Puddle products are shipped from our main warehouse in Ottawa, Canada, ensuring fast and reliable delivery for our Canada customers." This is NOT the case. I placed an online order July 2nd and the product did not arrive until July 23rd. Tracking was practically useless. The item shipped from China not Canada. Once received it was not at all as pictured on their site. Cheaply made and completely useless to us. They would not refund me the full-price based on the fact the item was not as pictured. The return address was hundreds of characters long (way too long for me to type on a label) not to mention return shipping costs to China, were ridiculous. No return form or label was offered. They did offer me a 30% credit back. After thinking about this, I do believe it's a scam of sorts since most people would bother trying to ship something back to China. I went back to them asking for a 50% credit which they all too quickly agreed to, still making a sizeable profit no doubt. We will donate the item to Goodwill.
