RUBBISH MACHINE Made in China
We had occasion to use this machine only three times before it failed. The boiler was generating steam but none emerged from the nozzle. We followed the instructions and filled 50/50 with white vinegar and water and allowed to stand overnight. When draining a lot of grey-black particles emerged. We flushed with clean water. more particles. We refilled with the vinegar mixture and allowed to stand for an hour. When draining more particles and something looking like a disintegrate red rubber balloon emerged!. Flushed five more times with water. More particles and no steam from hose. it seems the interior has collapsed. There is no way to access the interior. This is a RUBBISH MACHINE and probably dangerous to boot as it could overheat. £160 down the drain. Will get a Karcher next time.
Well…an absurd policy.
Well…an absurd policy.
You seem to have no issues with selling the machine through Amazon…including to Portugal, have a distribution center in Germany but will only supply parts within Germany…
Yet you seem to have an idiotic policy where you cannot provide the parts a customer may need to operate the machine if for some reason an accessory is accidentally broken in other European countries.
I have read other complaints relating to this mediocre policy of yours…and now l understand why.
Hopefully the machine will operate better then the idiotic policy practiced by your outfit.
Let’s leave it like this.
I will participate this policy of yours to the European Consumer Protection Agency.
To be blunt,-your company comes across as an unprofessional outfit hiding behind an internet site.
Dupray 'Neat' steam cleaner…
I bought a Dupray 'Neat' steam cleaner because of its excellent 'Which' review. Shortly after the warranty period expired it developed a fault whereby when switched on it causes my fuse box to 'trip'. It appears to need a replacement 'on - off' switch. That appears to be very simple to fit but Dupray say they do not supply replacement parts and do not offer a repair service. This policy is contrary to 'sustainability' best practice and I will be suggesting that 'Which' cease to recommend the product.
Please Avoid if you care for your Loved Ones___DANGEROUS & Low Quality
Please Avoid if you care for your loved ones....Dangerous product and a health and safety hazard. I bought a NEAT Steam Cleaner and it stopped working (no steam output) . Hot scalding water was leaking and I was lucky to have had just a small water burn on my hand and none of my other family members were hurt. I opened up the unit and could clearly see a big hole in the water/steam tank. Photos attached. It scared the hell out of me.I contacted customer care and this is what their response "You have bought a machine built in China and what more could you expect, next time buy a model built in Europe". I have an email with this response. I shall attach the screen shot. I felt cheated and felt I am being mocked and wrote back to them and the Dupray office called me , first a lady from a USA number called and said what would I settle for, I said I would never ever buy Dupray if the quality control is so bad. I just said if at all, you can do something please improve the product quality, she insisted that I could get a replacement. She said she will get back after discussing with her senior management. This was on a Friday afternoon. 3 days later Monday afternoon, another gentleman called and offered to replace with a NEAT Steamer (same Chinese build). I respectfully declined the offer as I would not put my family and loved ones at risk. I would rather buy a steamer from a company who values lives of people and has quality as a top thing. I am so happy that I got saved without anybody getting hurt. I don't mind having lost all the money I paid for the steamer.

Do not buy from this company.I made the unfortunate error of purchasing from them and this is what followed.Item ordered and paid,(mon) item delivered (tues) item found to be totally defective,(tues) contact made re refund replacement (weds) told to 'film the machine not working'?? and upon receipt of said video, they will determine if I am entitled to said refund/replacement. They are an e-commerce based outfit in Canada! Told me that they would send out pre-paid UPS labels for the return and once they've checked it over they would then decide upon their course of action! Never in my born days have i come across such a shoddy outfit! I am still waiting for the return labels and have contacted then twice since re this, but not holding my breath.Have initiated a complaint through my bank and will doing same through trading standards as product was ordered on dupray.co.uk Keep your money, they're not worth the grief!
Bought a 'Home' steam cleaner 10 days…
Bought a 'Home' steam cleaner 10 days ago. Used it once, then on second use it failed to generate any steam. Spoke to customer services and told I had to send a video to show fault and they would authorise return and a replacement. Did that. Got an email today to say I had to return it all to them, to be 'examined' and tested before they decide whether to authorise the replacement. This will take weeks before I get a replacement for a faulty 'brand new' machine, and also take me outside the 30 day period to get a refund under the Consumer Rights Act. Terrible customer service.
3yr lifespan - then irreparable!
Great machine - pity about the warranty! Lifetime on the boiler they say, 3 yrs everything else. They refused to consider a fault on my machine might be a boiler issue then they tell you they don’t sell spare parts and they don’t service anything outside of warranty. So any fault after 3 years makes the machine irreparable - nice! Hopefully right to repair will catch up with these cowboys!
very good company
very good company, ordered and received the item within a few days. Was very happy with the way it packaged.
I ordered my one plus steam cleaner, I ordered this in particular to clean the grout lines in the kitchen and also in our showers. It cleans super easily and is beyond straight forward to use. Found the extra accessories helpful as it allowed to gets in the knocks and crannies as well as being able to clean a variety of different things from the floor to kitchen cupboards to windows etc.. (all written on the site somewhere).
What I liked most about this is that you can continue steaming, whilst filling up with water so there is not a long wait when cleaning.
* side note I had an issue with one of the pipes that came with it that was not allowing the steam through, tried several ways and couldn't figure it out. Phoned them with the issue and explained and they sent a replacement immediately - customer service man was Erik. (husband later took the first one apart and it was a little bit of plastic that was stuck from the way it was moulded in the factory, and he removed it so now we have an extra part!)
I've had the steamer for a month and have found no issues with it at all hence the good review. Couldn't recommend the company enough - since they didn't have any reviews had to put one up
