Up till now the fryers been great duronic Af24
Up till now the duronic Af24 has been great, I have noticed over the last 4 months the food wasnt cooking properly in drawer 1. Sadly its decided to start smoking produced an error code of E3 and wont turn on again. Its only 4 months old I loved it all i want is a replacement.

I bought a Duronic pedestal fan. The buying process on the website was easy and the fan was dispatched and delivered very quickly. The fan itself needs to be put together which is straightforward and it works great at a very reasonable price.
They are charging UK VAT for shipments to EU
They are charging UK VAT for shipments to Ireland. The price of items they sell in the UK and Ireland is the same, but when it arrives in Ireland you have to pay Irish VAT as well. So basically they are charging you UK VAT even though they are shipping to Ireland.
On sending them this email I have got absolutely no response from them. Very non-customer friendly.

Excellent customer and repair service
Living in an old house a dehumidifier is an absolute necessity. My 4 year old Duronic dehumidifier died on me recently. I contacted Amy in customer service to see whether it was worth repairing as it seemed a waste to throw it away if it could be repaired.
She was incredibly helpful, said I could send it back for repair and gave useful advice on returns companies.
Updated when it was ready.
I now have my dehumidifier returned working and looking like a new machine.

We recently (3+ weeks ago) purchased a wall fan for our kitchen via Amazon.fr.
We weren't able to fit it straight away due to illness and finally got around to fixing it yesterday the 9th of Dec as I wanted it working for the Christmas Period in my kitchen, which can get a bit hot during cooking.
Firstly, no manual you have to scan the QR code and after a bit of messing about finally found it and downloaded it. So no hard copy.
The main issue is how difficult it is to assemble the actual fan & protective cage bits and to be honest, has to be the worst thing we have ever tried to put together. The very flimsy screw which is to be used to tighten the halo ring that holds the 2 metal cages together is ridiculously difficult to do. We had 2 sets of hands between us trying to hold it in place so that we could align it to able us to fit the halo ring. It just kept slipping out of position is frankly ridiculous. When we finally manged to align them, ensuring the halo ring connected with both edges of the grills (back & front grill) then tightening the halo ring using the very flimsy screw part instantly left us with the impression that its not safely on and with fan vibration the halo ring could wiggly loose releasing the facia guard. The two bits that are supposed to be pulled together upon tightening, don't actually fully meet.
The next bit is even more bizarre, fix the wall bracket onto the wall. No indication as to which way up or down back or front the bracket is supposed to go onto the wall. A few of the components in the installation manual don't even warrant numbers apparently.
Once the bracket is on the wall you then have to lift what is a fairly heavy motor onto the bracket, holding it in place whilst screwing in the tightening screw which is supposed to lock the fan onto the bracket. Again, this element seems very very unsatisfactory to me that holding a fairly heavy motor bit with a flimsy screw does not give one a feeling of confidence. Should the continuos vibration cause the screw to loosen over time, I can see it fall off the wall. Trying to get a screwdriver in behind the motor to do this is again almost impossible. It literately hangs of the wall by a small metal screw into the plastic bit at the back.
We have 5 oscillating fans in our home, various manufacturers, various types. What they all have in common is that fixing the front grill to the back grill there are clips on the sides of the grills that you simply clip down and lock both cages together. So plenty of experience of putting fans together. These have to be the most stupid, dangerous things we have ever had the misfortune to purchase. One wonders how they ever got past the safety checks. We were too late to send them back to Amazon.fr due to the intervening illness so would no doubt have a battle to get our money back. The reason I am writing this review today is to ensure that any future damage or accident involving this product, that a paper trail of dissatisfaction can be called upon where necessary. This wasn't a cheap product, maybe a cheaper one might have been better manufactured.
Great heater HV101
Great heater - HV101. Heats our quite big room quickly so can turn down. A very pleasant heat with radiant element, not stuffy. Heat comes from sides too which the dog loves. Good customer service when we had a minor issue.

We needed an urgent replacement for our coffee grinder, which had suddenly given up the ghost after many years service. We ordered the Duronic CG250, which was delivered delivered promptly and with no problems. The grinder itself seems good so far - easy to use, it quickly reaches a consistent grind and, as a bonus, is far quieter than our old one. Cleaning is straightforward due to the removal bowl and, unlike some grinders, it doesn't seem inclined to dump coffee onto the worktop when it's opened.
