Suffering from tinnitus, this speaker genuinely made the difference between me not sleeping for years and actually getting a decent sleep. Life changing for me! Stays on for around 7 hours once I programme it from the App and I use the Wave Sounds that Dusker emailed following purchase with the app optimised for those sounds.

I am baffled that anyone can give this product anything but 1 star.

Bought it for my partner’s birthday and thought I’d won birthdays with this one. The packaging was impressive; sleek and aesthetically pleasing. The speaker is the same. But on firing it up - utterly useless.

Before you put it under the pillow you know the sound is AWFUL. Muffled and like the cheapest speaker you’ve ever heard. Under the pillow I couldn’t identify a well known song even at full volume. Sounds like a CB radio. It simply does not serve the purpose it’s intended for in a major way.

I assume the good reviews are fake because there is no way NO WAY anyone could find this product anything but a well marketed scam.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This product is poor. Not sure what bots they are using to generate all those 5 star reviews, but the sound is poor quality and muffled (no matter how much you customise the settings) and to whoever you share your bed with it sounds to them like a tv on in another room.
Add to that the "try for 30 days" is misleading - you have to pay £8.50 for returns as they want it tracked.
Add to that the "ships in 5-10 days" is also a lie. I live an hour from their UK warehouse, and they still chose to send it to me from China, so took 20 days to arrive.
Just not good enough. Nice try.

I adore my sound bar. It is invaluable to getting me to sleep without disturbing my partner. When seeing all the adverts it almost seemed too good to be true but I bit the bullet and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It did take a little tweaking of position under my pillow and the settings on the app but I soon had it just as I need it. Now I get to sleep so much easier. Thank you Dusker for an amazing product.

I have had a Dusker since the original version. I love it so much I have TWO. This device has pretty much saved my marriage because I need sound when I sleep, and my husband needs silence. I even travel with mine and absolutely swear by it! If you need sound of any kind when you sleep, you NEED a Dusker.

My son, who is autistic and struggles to get to sleep and stay asleep, got your product for Xmas. He was a bit worried because it was new and different but after one night was thrilled.

The sound is clear and adjustable for different pillows (he has used it at hotels, his Nana’s, home and even camping)

He loves it - wouldn’t be without it. It has improved his sleeping and mine (cos I don’t hear his podcasts all night anymore).

I purchased Dusker after I had a baby and could no longer sleep with my Bose sleepbuds. My husband likes silence to sleep so when I saw Dusker it seemed great! It’s been a lifesaver.

I listen to white noise or ambient music. You really need to use alongside the app, which is super easy to use and simple. Your pillow acts as a sort of amplifier and you need to adjust the levels depending on your pillow and what you’re listening to to get the best experience. I thought that would have been obvious, but from some of the reviews here, maybe not.

My partner isn’t ever disturbed by the noise and I’m still able to wake up when the baby cries.

I also love the soft vibrations through the pillow!

Sleepbar is a fantastic product. If you use the app you can adjust the EQ very easily so that all pillow densities will sound amazing. Take a couple minutes to adjust and you'll be extremely satisified with sound quality which makes using Dusker so enjoyable to help you sleep!

I was happy with my first sleep bar until my puppy chewed it. I updated to Sleepbar v2 as soon as it came out and I’m thrilled. Sound is much better than v1. I can set auto turnoff for any number of minutes. You must download the Dusker App to take advantage of extra features. Customer service is the best, fast response and professional. I had difficulty downloading the app on Android and they worked with me and I had a fix very quickly.

The Sleepbar V2 is an absolute game changer. I have spent probably around 20 years trying to find a good solution to listen to audiobooks at night to get me off to sleep. The Kokoon over ear headphones were the best I got to but they sadly they weren’t very robust and got discontinued. Finally got one of these without a huge amount of optimism but they’ve been great and work pretty much as advertised. My wife can’t hear them and I get clear audio despite using a range of pillows. The app needs a little refining which I’m sure will come.

The product is marginal at best - but my experience was made worse by the fact the unit I was sent was faulty. The response I got to my query about the process for replacing the faulty product was obviously intended to ensure they got to keep my money and not replace their faulty product. Stay away.

How is it possible to have such diverse experiences with this product? I wish I had read reviews before purchasing 2!!!
The idea is great but the sound has no clarity whatsoever. I guess if "white noise" is your thing, then it possibly functional. But audio books/podcasts are impossible to hear with any clarity. I bought 2 & both of us have same issue.
1. The sound is totally muffled no matter what pillow I use
2. App only works with iPhone
3. The flashing light is an awful distraction- I'm not sure what it is for
4. Paying international postage to return a product that doesn't function as advertised is outrageous

What a terrible company. Absolutely lovely marketing - all to suck you in for buying a dreadful product!

I bought their new SleepBar V2, I have the pillow that is recommended for it to work with. But when it arrived, not only is there ZERO instructions, first it wouldn't connect via Bluetooth, their 'suggestions' were useless (and took ages to reply).

I did eventually, without their "help", get it connected. Huzzah! I was so looking forward to this great sounding product...

Then - disaster. Absolutely dreadful quality. Doesn't matter what pillow I use, or where under the pillow, in or out of the pillowcase...it's totally muffled, can't hear a thing. Awful.

I went to download their App - not released for Android! I was not advised of this at purchase. They say, "Oh it'll be up by Xmas, please wait so you can adjust settings!"

Reasonable response, I thought, sure I can wait a few more weeks till Xmas...Xmas passes - no app. Email them, "Sorry, bit of a delay, will advise when it's dropped."

Weeks later, no contact, but I check the play store - it's there! Dreadful service as usual but oh well, let's install it and get this thing working...THE APP DOESN'T EVEN LOAD!

Doesn't matter if I have the SleepBar connected or not, the App crashes if I try and open it.

Useless! I email them - "You need to pay for return of your faulty product, then we refund." Um, what? No. I'll be taking this up with my bank, I'm not paying to return a piece of garbage with international post and then also trusting them to even refund it. They're full of lies, awful product, awful customer service. I have no idea if mine is faulty, or if the 5 star reviews are Apple and can use the App, to adjust settings but...BE WARNED! I would never ever buy from this company again.

Bought as a gift for my dad.
Didn’t work. The sound was muffled and he couldn’t hear properly through the pillow. Tried to return it but they refused. After much to-ing and fro-ing they agreed to return it and sent an address.
It’s just arrived back from the post office with ‘addressee gone away’.
Abysmal product. Abysmal service. Avoid!

The original one star review below was for the first version of the sleep bar. Dusker sent a version two replacement for the faulty sleep bar and I have now amended my review as follows:- This version is a definite improvement over the first version, specifically because you can make adjustments to sound and timer via the App. The sound quality is still not brilliant but it is better than version 1. The device is comfortable under the pillow. My major complaint is that when I listen to a sleep hypnosis App and drift off to sleep, the device emits a tone when the timer ends and switches the bar off, this then wakes me back up again with a jump. Stupid design fault!
My daughter gave me a Dusker sleep bar for Christmas. I was delighted thinking it a great idea, but the reality is very different. The sound is very muffled making Audio books pretty incomprehensible. I decided to listen to a 45 minute hypnotherapy tape with timer inactive to send me to sleep. After 30 minutes sleep bar switched off so my iPhone kicked backed in deafening me (sleep bar needs your device on full volume to even be heard) and waking me up. Thought maybe I had not set it correctly so tested it during the day, same result. Then again at night, would only run for 30 minutes whether timer was activated or not. Explained problem to Dusker in various emails, their response was to tell me how to set timer on and off. I replied that was what I had done but it would not deactivate even if blue light was off. They asked for order number (28125) which I sent. They asked for a video which I sent. They then said would refer to technical team who only told me how to set timer. I replied yet again restating problem, they asked for order number again which they had already. Last response was that they would refer to technical team and I should be patient. Then nothing. They only manage one email per day, all of which I responded to within the hour, and they ignore the actual issue. The product is not fit for purpose and if faulty they give you the run around. AVOID, If they ever sort the issue I will amend this review but they have had every opportunity to do so and don’t seem interested in doing so.
After leaving this review Dusker contacted my daughter and promised to send out a replacement device. My daughter received a parcel from Dusker yesterday (18th) so when I see her and get the replacement device I will see if, and how, it works and further update my review.
I am now being pressured by Dusker to change my review both by email and through TrustPilot as they say they don’t know who review is from even though the review contains the order number and they have been in contact in order to send replacement and chase for me to edit review. I had already edited to give them a second star and to say they had organised a replacement. When I receive replacement from my daughter I will amend my review but I do not appreciate being chased to change an honest account of my experience with this company

I have difficulty seeing and need sound help me fall asleep and stay asleep. Having to play my iPhone at full blast wasn't ideal. This sleepbar means I can hear the sound of my app, but the rest of the house can't.

Two things prevent me from giving it the full five stars.
1. As others have pointed out, the sound through the pillow is a bit muffled.
2. There doesn't seem to be a way to check the charge status. You just have to plug it in and hope for the best.

All in all, it's useful and does the trick, though there still is some room for improvement.

Scam and difficult to return plus you pay to return and the "full refund" isn't full I paid £63.59 and only had £58.80 refunded but website states you get a full refund.
Issues
When purchasing the amount shown didn't include tax, so at the payment screen the cost increased this wasn't clear beforehand.
Product took a long time to deliver, around 2 weeks.
When product opened it needed to be charged and was not as described, Android app not available and the speaker was quiet and inaudible.
I emailed and requested full refund and first response was trying to get me to wait for the android app to be available. Second response did give me the information but told me to send tracked then refund not full so I'm around £14 down in total.

Please avoid!

They claim you can easily return this item. You can't, You must pay to do so. They of course don't let this be known in any obvious way in any of their ads. The customer has to pay to return this, even if it was purchased as a gift and is unopened.
After inquiring about this, a condescending email is sent stating that this is because they are in the U.K., but they advertise all over North America, all over social media -- obviously a majority of customers will be outside the U.K. and will have this issue.
The don't care. No taking responsibility or doing anything to make it right.
Find a similar product on Amazon that you can have an easier time returning if you have to.

Determining how to process a refund was difficult.

Utter scam. Do not buy. The idea is great but this company have done nothing to solve the issue they claim their product does . It’s just an incredibly cheap thin speaker the sounds muffled under any pillow I’ve tried in every sleeping position . Avoid. !!!!!!
