Scammers - here’s what I uncovered
They are scammers and fraudulent and need to be reported to consumer protection.
They called me and said my solar panel operator had gone bankrupt (accurate), and that they would help me get set up with a different provider so my warranty wouldn’t expire. I was asked to pay €249 for an on-site assessment, and I did.
That evening, a woman came out and gave an incredibly high-pressure sales pitch to upgrade to a heat pump and a battery, so high pressure that it was obvious something was off.
We asked her to call us back in a few days (she didn’t), and then I started digging around for information on this company.
They have two websites they used to contact us: Saldeerplan.nl, verduurzaamexperts.nl, but probably many others. Both sites were registered less than one month ago, another obvious red flag. Their legal entity listed on Bunq’s payment tool is Voltrum B.V. (With IBAN of
NL85 BUNQ 2191 0499 58). Tracing this entity’s legal address took me to Herikerbergweg 290 in Amsterdam, which houses a company that provides virtual office services.
They haven’t responded to emails at all.
