I have a property whereby the boiler is positioned in a cupboard above the stairwell and not accessible without a ladder positioned on the Stairwell itself to access it. This had put off two heating engineers I had called out to quote on a replacement boiler. One of whom would not even tackle it, and one that was going to charge a hefty premium in light of the difficult access.

A friend recommended DWL Gas who arrived promptly on time to asses the job and to my ‘major relief took the accessibility issue in their stride, it simply wasn’t a problem for them at all.

I received a competitive quote and consequently booked them in for a boiler replacement. They arrived on the day they said they would and completed the installation in the time they said they would… and they left everything so tidy and made sure I knew how to use the Thermostat!

We have used DWL gas for many years for our plumbing & heating repairs & maintenance. They always come out quickly, are very reliable and do a great job.
We had an extension where we put in 2 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet - DWL gas did all of the plumbing, gas work, and fitting including under floor heating. David gave us advice at the beginning too and discussed everything with us at the start of the process which helped us so much.

DWL Gas Ltd installed a new shower, shower tray and cubicle in our upstairs en-suite bathroom. They also laid ceramic tiles in two rooms and fitted decorative wall panels in the wet area of the shower. They also took out the old equipment and carted it away saving me several trips to the 'tip'.

The work was completed to a high standard in only 4 days by DWL's experienced fitters, who were courteous, professional and eager to please. I would have awarded an extra star for service had they on completion cleared debris from the driveway and if one faulty tile (not DWL's fault) had not needed replacing.

Very satisfied overall and will gladly recommend DWL to others. Paul from Loughborough.

Our previous boiler was unexpectedly condemned by another plumber, just as the weather was turning cold.
I was introduced to Dave at DWL who was able to come around next day to take a look. Appreciating the urgency of the situation with a very cold 1 year old at home, I received the quote the following day which was competitive and he advised that they would be able to squeeze us in for a new boiler within 5 days.
I then got a call that night to advise that they had moved some jobs around and could start the next day - within 3 days of our first chat.
The two man team from DWL then arrived next day and their work was excellent. They were providing a whole new combi boiler system whilst moving the boiler to the loft at the same time. They replaced and removed all of the old tanks, tidied up the old pipe work, reorganised all plumbing in the loft and put right any gaps created by moving the old boiler. We had central heating and hot water by lunchtime the following day and the job was complete by the end of day 2.
The team at DWL were efficient and professional. The job was carried out in a tidy and organised manner, with very impressive workmanship and the site was left as they found it.
I would highly recommend DWL Gas Ltd.

Fitted a new boiler along with some prep before further jobs to be carried out in 2021. Fitted us in very quickly at a busy time of the year as we would have been left with no heating /hot water as autumn temperatures were dropping.
