Quick and thorough response. This was my first time communicating with the support team and I was very happy with the outcome.

After changing my computer and migrating the software, some of the Nik collection features failed to work. Rebooting the product worked after consulting your HELP pages. Thank you.

I’ve been using DxO’s full suite software for many years and over that time they’ve consistently made substantial improvements to it. Their denoising in PhotoLab and PureRAW are second to none and I’ve tried pretty much every other option out there. It’s rare that I’ve ever had any technical issues with their software (maybe twice in over a decade). On those rare occasions, their technical support was immediately responsive and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. I continue to be a very satisfied customer. Thank you DxO!

Tried PureRaw 6 as DxO claimed dramatic reduction in file-bloat in output. Stopped using it when I found that an 86.6MB file from the 40megapixel Fuji X-E5 was swollen to 141.4MB by running it through PR6. I understand that this is caused by PR6 creating a linear .dng file, and I don’t know why DxO insists on doing that, with the consequential file-bloating. Maybe I’ll try it again if/when I can afford a 10TB SSD to store my picture files on. PR6 is definitely a good piece of software, marginally beating Lightroom as a pre-development work space, but this comes at considerable cost in disk space.

Following response to my criticism above by representatives of DxO, I have revisited PR6 to re-assess it in the light of their comments. What I found was that I had overlooked the “Output Settings” icon on the right hand side of the PR6 window, where you can access DNG Output Format options, which is where the High Fidelity Compression option is lurking.
Τhis changes everything: with High Fidelity Compression selected PR6 worked its wonders on my raw file, and in one case shrank a 43.1MB Fuji .RAF file to a just 8.7MB .dng output file. Quite incredible, but true. And from what I’ve read on the web this is the result of DxO’s having adopted new compression technologies like JPEG XL and DNG 1.7. All beyond my ken, but this makes all the difference and I’m off now to purchase PureRaw 6 and add it to my Lightroom Classic workflow.
This is indeed a most significant upgrade and with PR6 DxO remains the benchmark for pre-development of raw files on the market today

Bar none the absolute best noise reduction RAW preprocessing software out there. Camera and lens support is outstanding as well. I really wish it was available as a paid Linux software.

Excellent results, excellent correction of lenses, good to handle, good batch handling in the work flow.

Technical support is very responsive and talented! But the real star of the show is the PhotoLab 9 application. I have been a Adobe ecosystem for many years. While PL9 has room to grow and improve with regards to masking, it is far superior when it comes to fundamental color management, Denoise and sharpening, which is 98% of my use case. I am currently using PL9 on trial and will shift from Adobe to PL9 as soon as I can secure a discount (hopeless bargain hunter).

Customer support is great they are quick to respond and advise on any issues.

Support remained in place until the issue had been resolved. Seamless pickup amongst support staff.

I primarily use DXO for noise reduction and have also used Topaz as well as Lightroom's denoise feature. In my opinion DXO outperforms both of them.

The software and usability is second to none.
The only issue that I would suggest you work on is the nomenclature when applying relationships to masks. The option to "Invert Shape" doesn't seem to make sense. It is unclear and needs to be looked at.
The other issue is the inability to easilly carry out touch ups on portraits. Yes it can be done, but it could be a little more streamlined especially with your great AI engine.

Program itself is great, but completely unacceptable that Leica Q2 and Q3 Monochrome are not supported.

A great app that can transform your RAW images.
The built-in noise reduction and lens modules are the best you can get.
If you come from Lightroom there is quite a steep learning curve but with a bit of effort you can get just as good if not better results than you can in Lightroom.
There is no need to import the photos into a catalogue you just open your images from a file browser so there is no large catalogues to back-up and take up space on your hard drives.
Non subscription is nice too.
All in all a great RAW photo editing app.
