I love NIK 8 and Viewpoint. A problem arose with my hardware and I corresponded with DxO tech support; they were responsive, knowledgeable -- and (unique for Tech Support) sympathetic! They solved my problems and I was very satisfied.

The post processing of my high resolution Canon R5MkII with DXO Photolab 9 is simply the finest of ALL the programs I've used and tried out over this last year. Adobe is not even close. There are a few others that are decent but the RAW noise reduction of DXO is far superior to any of the others. The contrast brought about by several of their unique adjustments are astoundingly excellent. The ease of use is so well worth it as well.

Had a licensing problem with my DxO apps, on new laptop. Emailed support had initial reply in about 15mins. Not we have received your request, but a reply that asked me to, and told me how to, view my licensing info which I could send back to them that done, a further email with instructions of how to fix. My licences were up and running within a couple of hours from start to finish. Now that's what I call support.

Dxo-photolab is an amazing next generation editing software, really ahead of its time. I had some issues which was actually due to Nvidia drivers (outside of control of Dxo), yet Dxo implemented a workaround whilst waiting on Nvidia to sort the issues. Dxo is a customer focused company glad to be on board. The noise reduction is the best, great user interface, the learning curve is simple and the features are great. You can never go wrong with Dxo.
Customer service named Natalie and Fabrice were very helpful and Dxo should be glad to have them.
Thanks Dxo-photolab team

Quick support to help resolve a feature issue that was indeed mistake on how I used it.
Changes from earlier version made me miss a setup for 'repair' tool (transparency).

Most important: I know what is happening, which file is being processed, and of if I do not like the result, I can change it back.

I recently re-activated my DxO account because I started using my DSLR camera again. The DxO support team helped me on several occasions to reset and re-activate license codes. Great and fast service. My 15 year old license still worked and I had an option to upgrade but didn't need to.

DXO have some impressive editing software which is offered with a ‘lifetime licence - no subscription required’, sound good but beware of the small print. DXO terms allows them to not only stop supporting particularly operating systems, but also to block activations for products you have purchased. Personally I purchased Nik Effects ver 4, just four years ago now DXO have discontinued Mac OS support and blocked activations, however the support department helpfully advises that customers can upgrade to the latest version for an additional £80. 4 years doesn’t come close to a lifetime licence, I view this as a scam to force customers to spend more every few years. Even though I like the product I won’t spend any more money with a company that behaves in this way.

DXO did respond to my review, however appear to suggest that compatibility due to operating system changes is the cause of the problem, not entirely true have activated and I am using Nik Effect 4 on my new Mac mini running Tahoe 26.2, and used it without problem on my old 2019 iMac also running on Tahoe 26.2.
The activation problem only occurred after I contacted DXO support to free up two of my activation slots from machines now replaced. DXO support told stated that I would not be able to activate Nik Effect 4 on Tahoe 26.2, and when I tried on my MacBook the activation failed.
I note that in the small print DXO does acknowledge that they have the discretion to block activations. In short Nik Effects 4 does run on Tahoe, but DXO appears to be blocking new activations.

I never had such a fast answer and solution at any other support. DxO Support is more than excellent and so is the software.

I’m using dxo mainly for denoising and since PL9 I can do this locally with AI powered layer selection. I also own a dxo-one camera and the files look absolutely great when processed by PhotoLab the dng files are big (80mb)
Oh and btw, great customer service

Noise reduction is out standing (if you have RAW pictures) But the retouch tool is so bad and I'm so disappointed about that
