It is a good app for tracking your expenses and very complete. Give you nice insights on your expenses and the option to reduced cost is very nice too (although I never used). The only complain I have is to assign the type of insurance. Sometimes you have one insurance company for different insurance and you cannot assign this in the app. It would be nice to have a breakdown option for this. Also, I find it a bit expensive. Those are the only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5.
Used to be good
Used to be good, they caught one nice offer for my Internet at home that made me save a 200 euros (minus 68 for their fee). But from then on it’s was a very chaotic and unorganised and wrong service. They did a literal mess with the switching to my energy provider, back and forth from Vattenfall to Budget Energie, start date in 2030, a subscription that was higher than my previous one, start date not respected, initiated one month before the end of the definite contract so that I had to pay a fee for switching earlier than foreseen, they don’t reply to email or WhatsApp, send multiple offers that cross one another, and the last of their doing was to offer me a car insurance with a price higher than mine and also lower maximal. A disaster.

The app gives transparency into your finances and offers you alternatives to cut your costs, although your data is the payment for this service, you don’t need to buy any of the offers or the services, so it works for me.

Poor communication and follow up
Approved an energy switch via Dyme on 22/12. Until 1/1, WhatsApp and email messages were not answered at all. Support contacted me once on 1/1 saying they would apply, but as of 3/1 there is still no contract or clear update. Good idea, poor communication and follow-up.

Don't trust dyme
They first say they've arranged an 80-euro discount for you, which isn't true! And then they send you a 35-euro bill for negotiating. It's simply fraud and theft.

So far it has been great
So far it has been great. It is very intuitive and I like the fact that when linking with an account it automatically adds the expense / income category.

Great options for fresh adults
I really like the service offered, I have saved more than 400 Euros in the last 2 years using Dyme, as an immigrant with ADHD in the Netherlands, I always found it hard to sit down and compare the fine prints for each service, and Dyme helps with that.
I don't see myself using another service any time soon, however I do hope for clearer policy on the privacy of my banking details and its retention.

They have changed my KPN contract…
They have changed my KPN contract without my approval. They sent an overview of the cost reduction and their commission if I move forward with the contract change but in the app I selected the option to DO NOT move forward because of other personal reasons. They didn't take my selection in the app of "no approve" and moved forward anyway.. they even misspelled my name at KPN and changed my email address to an incorrect one. Today I called KPN to cancel my subscription because I got Ziggo installed with a better deal. guess what? KPN said they cannot cancel my contract because I made a commitment of 1 year with them on the 3rd of July. I never called KPN and even if Dyme has called on my behalf I didn't allow them to move forward with the change.
I just got the information directly from KPN that my contract has been changed on the 11th of July - after I have subscribed for Ziggo - because they sent a letter by post saying they cannot communicate via e-mail with me anymore... my email was wrong after Dyme did whatever they did.

Scammy practice, where they let you fill out all the data and then give you a payment screen.

Scam!!!
Scam!!!! Never ask them for a quote, because they will sign you up without your consent. We are having issues with my husband being signed up to a health insurance he didn't want. Instead of a quote he was send a contract he never signed. He had signed up with a different one outside the website within the 14 days Dyme gave him to cancel, which he told them he wanted to do, but this wasn't processed fast enough and now he is stuck! Horrible, horrible company. Never ever give them any of your details.
