Matt’s help in Dyslexia Foundation …
I’m in my final year of my law degree and only got diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia at the end of my second year. Without Matt’s help I don’t think I would have passed this year, he is always there to answer any questions outside of our sessions and is very supportive within our session, reassuring me that I’m doing great but also making sure my work is to its best standard. This year I’ve got the best grades out of all three years of studies and that is because of Matt’s help.

Excellent Organisation…
I originally wrote a review of the Dyslexia Foundation when I was coming towards the end of the first year of my law degree.
In it I explained how I was first diagnosed as being dyslexic during my foundation year, and how I was assigned Matt, as my tutor by the Dyslexia Foundation.
I went on to explain that before working with Matt, I had been struggling to keep up with the workload, which was a result of my dyslexia. I spoke about how Matt had taught me various techniques which helped me with my reading skills, helped me to manage my workload, and how he would proof read my essays with me to highlight, and teach me, about the issues I was having with my spelling, grammar, and essay construction.
I am still applying these same key techniques and they continue to lead to better essays and ultimately assignments.
I am now in my second year and I'm sure that without Matt and the Dyslexia Foundation’s help I would not have passed the foundation and first year of my law degree and got in to the second year of the course.
I am still working with Matt and the Dyslexia Foundation and they have continued to help me manage my workload, teach me essential reading skills, which a law degree demands, and improve my essays and assignments.
In addition to all this working with Matt and the Dyslexia Foundation has given me confidence to achieve what I know I am capable of and that I don’t have to be held back by my dyslexia.
With Matt's help I am confident of passing my second year and will be looking forward to working with him and the Dyslexia Foundation in my third and final year.

Liverpool - Dyslexia Foundation - Fantastic
The Dyslexia Foundation in Liverpool is an absolutely fantastic service that helps students who are challenged with dyslexia. Being supported by a dyslexia tutor and having one-to-one sessions can really help elevate a students work, whether its just verbally discussing an idea/topic or if they help proof read your work correcting any gramma or spelling errors. The Dyslexia Foundation team have been so supportive, making me become a more confident academic in the process. I would like to say a special thank you to Matt, who has supported my work over the last two years and has been a massive help. This service really does deserve five stars ⭐️

Amazing support
I have been lucky enough to support the Dyslexia Foundation for my university degree. Without the support and assistance, I genuinely don't think I would have done as well as I have.
My initial worry about having to work with someone new did fill me some anxiety but quickly a rapport was developed and I looked forward to each weekly meeting.
I must say that the support offered by the Dyslexia Foundation was not affected by the current pandemic.
I am so grateful for the support I received.

Christine Awork Real Talk…..
I have had the support of my dyslexia tutor for a number of years, and he has exceeded my expectations for my educational needs.
I believe without his support I would not have achieved the grades and results, for my Undergraduate degree or my MA in Criminology and Social Policy.

So helpful
The dyslexia foundation have been incredible throughout my second and third year. Matt has helped me stay on task and complete all my work to the highest standard, visible proof can be shown from my grades from first to third year. I genuinely don't think I could have completed my degree without my tutor. Even in a global pandemic Matt took the time to make sure I had an hour a week to go through work, not only helping me academically but helping me to stay focused on my work and not go insane during the pandemic!! Thank you so much for all the help and education you have given me throughout my course.

The Dyslexia Foundation have been brilliant, extremely helpful and quick to arrange support. Isobel one of the tutors has been amazing, she is really flexible and accomodating with the sessions. During placement I have been working until 5pm and also have a young family and she has been happy to accommodate me with evening or alternative sessions when needed. The help and support I have received has been extremely beneficial for my assignments and university work and also for me in my future job role. I have learnt new skills and techniques for my Dyslexia that I will be able to utilise to help me going forward. I would highly recommend the Dyslexia Foundation and especially Isobel! Thank you so much, I don't think I would of got through the high workload over this year without all your help, guidance and support.
