Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Waiting for a refund on two Dyson products, over £1k in total.
The products were wrongly bought after the Dyson website had a hiccup over card payments. It didn't look like they'd gone through, but actually had.
Requested a refund in June 2025, promised money back within 14 days.
A month later I rang again, promised the refund in 5 days.
Two weeks later I rang again to see why no refund had been received.
Five attempts with the same result so far.
It's now early September, today's call has promised a return call from a 'senior manager' within 24hrs.
Watch this space.
Completely unimpressed with Dyson. Highly unlikely to want to buy another Dyson product for the foreseeable future.

Order duplicated 3 times - and despite requesting cancellation 5 minutes after receiving email confirmation would not cancel. Most unhelpful customer service i have ever encountered. Will not but anything more from Dyson.
Unreliable and messed up customer service
Bought an Airwrap for my daughter in Sept 2023, a month back the machine stopped working, I immediately contacted customer, everything went well during the chat and I was promised a courier label so I can send the product to them for repair. It has been one month since my first chat and I have had million chats with them, and yet to receive my label. I regret buying their product. An airwrap, hair dryer and airstrait, approximately 1700e spent and my worst purchase in my life.
Dyson will collapse soon if this is how their customer service work!
UK customer service department not fit for purpose
Called customer service to check whether the colour hair dryer I wanted was suitable for my hair type and to ask whether there was a difference between the colour dryer I wanted and the dryer that had my hair type in the title of the product but was not the colour i really wanted, (it's a hairdryer but for over £300 so of course I want the colour I want). Was advised to get the product with my hair type in the title. Ordered it, opened it, tested it out and found out after that the dryer I actually wanted had the attachments that would have worked in my hair.
The advisor was almost impossible to understand and i raised that at the start of the call. I called back the next day and was told they can only see what is on the dyson website in the UK - as I was reading from another retailers option and the Dyson site did not have the model i was interested in, advisor just told me the right one was the only one he had access too! unbelievable. The 2nd advisor couldn't even understand the problem. Premium priced products should equate to premium customer service. The call centre staff they have now should not be allowed to speak to the public.
Needed replacement battery for Dyson…
Needed replacement battery for Dyson V10. Told to only use Genuine Dyson product. Ordered battery on 11th August 2025, paid, with allow 10 working days for delivery. Ok I am in N Ireland so long delivery might the norm. To date no checking reference number given. It is now 28th and no sign of delivery. Tel call to Dyson useless, someone in India. Virtual also useless.
Terrible customer service
I have rang customer support 3 times. So unhelpful. My dyson airwrap set on FIRE and I am awaiting a repair pick up. Dyson sent the wrong address to DPD so I waited twice for the repair pick up, only to get a notification that my “delivery was refused” even though no attempt had been made. it is coming up to a MONTH since i initially called about my dyson setting on fire. Customer service guy shouted at me across the phone that my address on the system was correct and there is nothing they can do ??
Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. I bought a Dyson fan about 6-7 months ago now, on only the like the third time of using it, it wasn’t working correctly (which is shocking considering the price of their products). After numerous calls with Dyson and John Lewis (where I bought the device) and getting varying confusing and inconsistent responses they finally came and picked up the device for repair. They take it away and have replace various parts (how can a brand new device need this?), they bring it back scratched all over, it looks like a heavily used 10 year old device now. I call them to ask them to rectify this, seeing as they damaged it and they say, cosmetic damaged isn’t covered by their warranty - as though I caused it, you caused the damage in your awful repair service?!! I highly recommend no one ever buy their devices, this is the second one I’ve bought that is most definitely not worth the money, the quality is awful and the customer service is useless.

Did manage it in the end but the background noise was ridiculous and almost impossible to hear the lady talking to me. Has Dyson made so much money now that it just doesn't care about customers? The Dyson Wash G1 is a colossal waste…
The Dyson Wash G1 is a colossal waste of money. Leaves patches of dirty water on the floor unless its 100% smooth, so any grout, cracks or uneven level and it’s rubbish. Constant messing about with fiddly screw-in containers that often cross-thread. Aftersales has been terrible, three calls with no returned calls. Don not buy this product.

Do not recommend the Dyson 360 Navi! I own two units and in both, the cleaning schedule has never worked. Three repair attempts under warranty changed nothing, and replacing the device takes 3 weeks. For such a high price and a brand of this caliber, this is absolutely unacceptable.

I telephoned Dyson on 25/7/25 because my Dyson Airwrap was sparking and blew up which I consider to be dangerous.The advisor told me they would escalate the case due to the experience I had and that I would have a call back within 24 hours which didn’t happen.I missed a call the following day so called them straight back.I have now phoned 4 times and am still no further forward. Nobody gets back to you when they say they will,One advisor was very rude.I have also replied to an email which asked for some details .I don’t understand what escalating a case means as I can’t speak to a manager.All I want is to get something done about a faulty product which was very expensive.

Wouldn’t even give 1 star absolutely appalling after service never experienced anything like it !!! Be very careful before purchasing anything Dyson related !!! If your air wrap starts to cut out after 4 months of minimal use they make you video call to your mobile and make you put the device on until it literally cuts out !!!! Apparently if you don’t have a smart phone to do it this way (my husband asked if we didn’t have smart phone how he would log it) he then said he would listen whilst on the call for it to cut out !!! even though it’s intermittent, all this is even before he can log it as a fault !!!!!! Told me no one had died so it’s not that bad of problem!!! Honestly absolutely shocking after care very stressful this is a premium product for £400 purchase with 2 year warranty very disappointing !!!! Gone back to John Lewis hopefully I can get this resolved.
Refurbished V10 failed repeatedly, technician no‑show, demand resolution
I bought a refurbished Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute on 02/05/2025, it stopped working immediately, the replacement battery and replacement charger I received both failed to operate, a collection was booked for 24/07/2025 but the technician never turned up, now two weeks on I’m left with a broken vacuum, this is unacceptable under your 12 month guarantee and the Consumer Rights Act, I expect a fully functional replacement or a full refund without further delay

And told this was the problem and they would send us parts and we would receive a full refund as no need to send Machine.
The parts did come but they have not worked.
And the £100 has not been refunded.

Incapable of Delivering
I've tried multiple times to order replacement parts for my humidifier and they simply are not able to get my supplied address correct on the delivery. THREE times the package has been returned to sender because the folks at Dyson cannot get the package labelling right. What an absolute waste of time.

This is a disgrace of customer service, completely unacceptable how this was handled.
I bought this item because it was advertised it would be delivered on the 13th.
It never arrived on the 13th, 14th..
Then I get an email saying there was a minor technical issue and because of this you didn't know when it would be delivered.
Then I emailed you saying I would need the item by Friday, today, the latest tomorrow Saturday by 7am
Never received any reaction from you at all
Because of this I contacted your customer service, who felt completely lost about this case and could never give a real help apart from saying they would escalating this.
On the 16th I was again on the phone to customer service and told them I would need this Item by Friday as I would go abroad on Saturday and would need to take it with me. They couldn't guarantee this would be delivered on Friday.
Yesterday, Thursday, I was again on the phone with customer service who confirmed the Item wouldn't be delivered by Friday and the only option would be to cancel. I requested to cancel and the agent said this would be canceled.
Today, Friday, I received a email from Parcelforce saying my item was about to be dispatched.
Then I rang again Customer service and was told the item wouldn't be dispatched.
I sent you emails not to dispatch, to cancel, saying I wouldn't be here and the item shouldn't be delivered as I was not going to be here and the item was no longer needed. Once again you played deaf.
After received another email saying the Item had been dispatched. A total shambles.... complete disdain for the customer. I lost one weak telling you if the item was not going to arrive by Friday, then don't sent. CANCEL. What a waste of time and energy. Completely unacceptable.
Thank you for wasting my times, my nerves and causing so much distress.
